    Danube

Bottle (Imp): Flowers. Just On: Very flowery. An hour or two later: Hmmm, aquatic, floral, and some soap. Around 6 hours: Soapy aquatic flowers. 12 hours: Soap. Overall: Yes, another scent my skin can turn into something generic and flowery. Blah. After reading other reviews: I really liked the scent, but my skin ruined it.

    Machu Picchu

Bottle (Imp): Ooh, fresh and breezy. Just On: Lovely fresh breezes with flower scents. An hour or two later: Wow, it's gone. Around 6 hours: Nothing left at all. 12 hours: Nope, nada, nothing left. Overall: It fades really fast, but is nice while it lasts. After reading other reviews: I really didn't get any fruit out of this one. It's nice, and I like it, though I'm not sure it's hit the big bottle list right away.

    Cairo

Bottle (Imp): Sweet and exotic. Just On: Very exotic, and that sweet intermingling with it. An hour or two later: I'm getting that incense feeling, so I guess that's what this has. The sweetness has faded down. Around 6 hours: The sweet part is pretty gone much gone, leaving incense. 12 hours: It's faded away to nothing now in the heat. Overall: A big bottle one. After reading other reviews: I didn't really get citrus or honey out of this. I do get sweet, but I'm not sure what kind of sweet it is.

    Rosalind

Bottle (Imp): Fresh flowers. Just On: Quite flowery. An hour or two later: Crap. Soap. Around 6 hours: Yup, my skin wrecks yet another nice scent. 12 hours: Soap. Overall: Unfortunately, I can't wear this one. After reading other reviews: Everybody is so lucky that can wear this. I can't. <sigh>

    Glitter

Bottle (Imp): Mmm, citrus. Just On: Wow, this is neat, there's something mixed with the citrus that is very different. An hour or two later: It's fading fast, but I like this one. Around 6 hours: It's really pretty well gone, just the barest hints left. 12 hours: No more Glitter. Overall: This would be a big bottle purchase if I could get one. After reading other reviews: I too got no bubblegum out of this one. It's a very pleasant refreshing scent, which doesn't last nearly long enough.

    Allegory

Bottle (Imp): This smells like fresh cut greens and something else. Just On: Hmmm, fresh cut greens and animals. An hour or two later: I'm gonna guess there is civet in this, but it's a good smooth one. The greens are not prominent anymore. Around 6 hours: This is fading pretty fast. I'm still picking civet out of it. 12 hours: That last bit of civet, and surprisingly nice to my surprise. Overall: I'm really glad I found a blend with civet that works on me, and rather sad that it's a discontinued scent. Ah well. After reading other reviews: I see I'm not the only one that found this to be a wonderful civet blend.

    Lemongrass

Bottle (Imp): Wow, Lemon Pledge, but nice. Tee hee. Just On: Much better, it's less Pledge, and more lemongrass. An hour or two later: Ahh yes, very nice lemony note. Around 6 hours: Still pretty lemony, which is nice, as many citrus notes fade sooner. 12 hours: There is still the last vestige of lemony-ness, which is really neat. Overall: Oh, it's gorgeous. After reading other reviews: I guess nobody else got the hint of Pledge at first, but since it went away fast, and turned into a beautiful lemony scent, it didn't matter.

    Gemini

Bottle (Imp): I'm expecting something two-sided, maybe even chaotic. I'm smelling something sweet, something sultry, something a tinge sharp. Just On: Add to those things something dark, and something light. Yeah, this fits very well so far. An hour or two later: Hmm, I'm not so sure what I'm getting now. Perhaps mint? Around 6 hours: Lemon? How utterly odd. 12 hours: It's gone, I think. It could be that I smell like it, and it smells like me, moreso even than a skin scent. Must try this one a few more times. Overall: This is cool, and I'm keeping this one. I tried this a second day... and a third... and I swear, this changes each time. This is incredible. After reading other reviews: For once lavender doesn't overwhelm a scent. I'm not giving this one up for anything. As just a scent I might not buy more, but since this is my sun sign, and it does work nicely on me, so I'd be happy if I could get more.

    Pandora

Bottle (Imp): Oooh, sweet and maybe citrus. Just On: More sweet then citrus, perhaps with a bare hint of mint. An hour or two later: Hmm, I'm not too sure now. Maybe it's lotus? Around 6 hours: Yes, I think it might be lotus. 12 hours: It's gone now, so nothing to report here. Overall: I'm truly liking this one. I would love to get more of it. After reading other reviews: I'm hoarding the imp. This is one I'd buy more of in a heartbeat. I never really got the gardenia.

    Hakkotsu

Bottle (Imp): Smells rather woody. Just On: Yes, quite woody, and something is trying to peek out. An hour or two later: I get more wood. Around 6 hours: A soft, nice wood. 12 hours: Wood that's started to turn into sweaty smell. Overall: Not bad, but not something I'd go out of my way to get. After reading other reviews: I got all wood out of this, and not the nice kind. Too bad, it was a nice idea.

    Puck

Bottle (Imp): Smells lemony a bit, with something winding it's way in and around that I can't identify. Just On: UGH! Cat poo!! An hour or two later: It's <choke> cat pop. Around 6 hours: Unfortunately, it's just all cat poo on my skin. 12 hours: Lucky for me, it's gone. I came awful close to washing this one off. Overall: I guess I can't wear this one. After reading other reviews: The civet in this one jumped out and grabbed me by the throat, and refused to let go. Not sure wehre the lemony thing came from, and I certainly never got grape popsicles.

    Aunt Caroline's Money Bag

Bottle (Imp): It smells like sweet money. No really, like money that has had something sweet spilled on it. Just On: Wow. It really does smell like money with something sweet spilled on it. An hour or two later: Hmm, it gets a tad sharper. Not in a bad way. Around 6 hours: Okay, I think I smell cinnamon. 12 hours: Now there's just a hint of the money smell left. Overall: This smells like it would work. I bet it works fabulously. After reading other reviews: This is a keeper, and I'm thinking of getting a bottle somehow. I can see this as being an excellent blend in our household.

    Blood Pearl

Bottle (Imp): I can't get a grip on what this actually smells like, but I definitely get the image of a pearl in my mind's eye. The swirling colors seem to be captured in this scent. Just On: I still can't wrap my nose around what this smells like, but the pearl coloring is vivid in my head. An hour or two later: Wow, it's fading rather fast, into a coconutty scent. Around 6 hours: Yep, it's coconut and musk. 12 hours: It's gone now, move along, nothing to see here. Overall: I like this one. After reading other reviews: Ahhh, orris, this is new to my nose I think. Or maybe not new, just more recognizable in this blend. Right close to being a bottle purchase, but not *quite*.

Chaos Theory II : The Butterfly Effect

CT2 DXVI Bottle (Imp): It's BLUE! Ouch, and very much lavender. Just On: All I am getting is lavender. Nothing else at all. An hour or two later: That mild lavender skin scent. It's just so hard to wait for the drydown to get this. Lavender always seems to completely take over a blend, so much so that most lavender blends tend to be very similar to the SN on me. Around 6 hours: Faint lavender 'me' scent. If it started out this nice, I'd probably like lavender a whole lot more. 12 hours: Stale lavender. Overall: Since lavender seems to just blast it's way through in most scents that contain it, I'm careful about it. This is not one I'll be likely to keep. (Last reviewed by yeahbutnobut.)

Chaos Theory II : The Butterfly Effect

CT2 CCCLXXXII Bottle (Imp): This smells creamy, possibly a little floral, and rather fresh. Just On: This almost takes on a watery tone with all the other things I described above. An hour or two later: Quite watery, not creamy now, and fresh. Around 6 hours: Watery and creamy. 12 hours: Bits of water and cream. Overall: I like this one, and though I am swapping some of it, will keep a bit for myself as well. (Last reviewed by yeahbutnobut.)

Chaos Theory II : The Butterfly Effect

Each bottle of Chaos Theory is truly unique, a fragrant fractal, and exercise in the joy of chance and uncertainty! Each is a one-of-a-kind, utterly random combination of scents, the composition of which is based on whim, mood and gut instinct. CT2 CCCLXXXVIII Bottle (Imp): This smells like it has flowers and anise in it to me. Just On: I smell flowers, and I smell anise. It seems like there is something else playing around the edges as well. An hour or two later: I still smell anise, and flowers. Around 6 hours: Some flowers, a touch of anise. 12 hours: All gone. Overall: I like this one as well. I wish the anise stood out more, but I'll be keeping a bit of this bottle for myself as well. (Last reviewed by yeahbutnobut.)

    Black Rose

Bottle (Imp): Roses with something else. Just On: Roses, and that something else I can't quite figure out. An hour or two later: Stupid skin. Soap. Around 6 hours: Soapy. 12 hours: Soapity soap soap soap. Overall: Yes, surprise, my skin turns roses into soap, most times. This is one of those times. After reading other reviews: Well, the roses are there, because they make soap with my skin. Great, except I hate most soaps. Away it goes.

    Manila

Bottle (Imp): Bananas! Just On: Banana tree bigtime. I love it. An hour or two later: This smells a little boozy now, and the bananas have faded to the background. Around 6 hours: Fruity with a touch of booze. 12 hours: Yep, berry type fruit with a hint of booze. Overall: I really like this one. I have no clue why it was so far down on my wishlist, but it's moved a lot higher now. After reading other reviews: I don't know where the boozy part comes in, but this was gorgeous all the way through. Even if you don't like bananas, you truly need to put some of this on your skin and plug your nose for a few minutes, because it goes away, and leaves wonderful fruity scents behind. Big bottle.

    Two, Five & Seven

A huge bouquet of squished rose petals: Bulgarian rose, Somalian rose, Turkish rose, Damascus rose, red and white rose, tea rose, wine rose, shrub roses, rose, rose, rose… …and just an itty bitty bit of green grass. Bottle (Imp): Hmmm, roses? Just On: Yeah, I think roses. An hour or two later: Uh oh. A hint of soap. Around 6 hours: Wellll, it looks like my skin ruins yet another scent. 12 hours: Sharp soapy scent. Overall: If it weren't for my skin ruining it, it would probably be a perfectly gorgeous scent. After reading other reviews: I shoulda known it wouldn't work, but in my quest to try them all, I got it anyway. Plus, since TLF and Wildfire turned me ass over teakettle in shock, it was worth a shot.

    The Queen of Hearts

Bottle (Imp): Really sweet. Just On: Sweet, and maybe citrus. An hour or two later: Yeouch. Soap comes flying to the forefront. Around 6 hours: Very faint soap. 12 hours: The last bits of soap scent. Overall: Yet another beautiful scent that my skin murders. After reading other reviews: I was hoping this would work, but alas, the flowers are totally wrecked by my skin.

    Bloodlust

Bottle (Imp): Mmm, dragon's blood. Just On: Mmmm, dragon's blood. An hour or two later: Beautiful dragon's blood scent. Around 6 hours: Dragon's blood, possibly with patchouli. 12 hours: Yes, dragon's blood with patchouli. Overall: I really like this one. After reading other reviews: I got nothing but dragon's blood out of this, which was fine with me. Then the fade down gave me some patchouli, and I was good with that too. A lovely perfume oil.

    La Petite Mort

Bottle (Imp): Quite smooth with a hint of sweet. Just On: Really smooth with a fair bit of sweet. An hour or two later: Quite smooth. Very sexy. Rawr. I smell like I've been dallying. Around 6 hours: This has really settled into my skin, and I must shove my nose right in there to smell it at all. Just a bit of sweet smoothness. 12 hours: Bare bit of sweetness mixed with the scent of orgasm. Overall: This is exactly what I expected out of O (I love O, but I never got the orgasmic part of it, just a sweet scent) when I ordered my first imp pack. It's sweet, sexy, and makes me wanna go bump uglies with The Mate. After reading other reviews: This is the first BPAL that has given me that sex scent. The other may be nice, and pretty, but never smell like S-E-X, whereas this one dies in a big way. It's also lovely in general, and hit the big bottle list fairly quickly.

    Fallen

Bottle (Imp): Wow, this totally confuses my nose. I have no clue. Just On: It's not really dark, but feels dark, and not really.. I just don't know. An hour or two later: Ouch, this has that cat pee thing going. Not strong, but enough to make me wrinkle my nose. I'm gonna blame vetiver, but I could be way off. Around 6 hours: Or not cat pee. That didn't last long, which is good. Now, I'm thinking musk. 12 hours: Okay, it settled into a fairly nice, not quite powder scent. When I got up the next morning, some 19 hours after application, I had that beautiful amber powder scent. Overall: This one morphed a LOT, and went through a brief really yucky stage on me. It must have amber to get to the glorious powder stage at the end, but I'm not sure I want to wait through all the rest to get to that. After reading other reviews: I didn't really get all the good stuff out of this. I waver over doing it, but I think this has to be put on the can't wear list.

    House of Night

Bottle (Imp): Citrus and something else I can't figure out. Just On: Lime. An hour or two later: Wow, it's like, gone. Around 6 hours: Yeah, nothing left that I can smell. 12 hours: Well, it's still gone. Overall: I liked what little there was of it. My skin seemed to just suck it all dry very quickly. After reading other reviews: I don't get somber, dismal, or grief at all out of this one.

    Leanan Sidhe

Bottle (Imp): Smells grassy and herby. Just On: Yeah, grassy, herby, and there's something else playing around in there. An hour or two later: Hmm, this seems different. It's more like flowers. Around 6 hours: Well, now I'm getting flowers, but not really soapy ones. 12 hours: It's faded away to nothing now. Overall: I like it, but don't love it. After reading other reviews: This is one of those meh scents on me. It mostly smells like I've been rolling around in grass and flowers (and not WITH someone <g>), and while pleasant, isn't one of my favorites.
