In the bottle this smells of strong juniper and eucalyptus. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the smells of cypress and galangal. On me the eucalyptus is very strong initially. I can actually feel this on my skin, kind of like how mint essential oil is if you use it undiluted, only less potent. I'm smelling juniper and eucalyptus, but also camphor which is probably the galangal based on my internet searches. I definitely don't dislike this oil,but I think I'd have a hard time wearing it as perfume. Its very medicinal smelling, but I don't find it pungent, and it seems to have a bit of an underlying warmth. Raw power and insatiable hunger? I can kinda get that. I might have to try this one again and see if I get anything more from it. At this point I wouldn't buy a bigger bottle unless I was going to use it for candles, soap or room scent. I will have to try this one on the boy.

In the bottle this smells like really potent sage and long steeped tea. Its quite strong and I don't smell any of the berries or musk. On this immediately smells like it did in the bottle - strong sage and tea. Give it a minute and it mellows, and the berries begin to come out. This turns into a wild garden, overgrown with sage and berries. It doesn't have any of the woods of a forest, but it still has that green untouched nature smell. This makes me want to go outside and gather herbs and berries. I really like this oil.

In the bottle this smells warm and sweet. I can definitely smell the rum and leather. On this takes on more of a warm bodily smell. This is definitely a sensual and sexy smell, in a kind of playful kinky way. I definitely get the 'bondage ball' from the description. I think I can pick out the tobacco, but I don't really get the chardonnay. This is a smoky smell with warm leather and sweet tonka. I really like this one.

In the bottle this smells like a fairly soft and complex floral. It has a darker undertone. I think I can smell some of the moss and herbs a bit too. On it starts out with a strong darkish floral smell, probably from the black orchid. There is something wild and sensual in this oil, and also something shadowy. At the same time it's sweet and feminine. A very nice mix. Overall I quite like this oil. I originally bought it as an imp but I fell for it and just got my 5ml on Friday. I think this smell fits in with a view of the Morrigan as a strong sexual and sensual woman, who might just destoy you. I don't think it gets to the war, death, prophecy or sovereignty aspects though... well maybe a little sovereignty.

this is my first review, but i've got a few to post. In the bottle this smells really dark and somewhat sweet. It doesn't smell like anise, but it brings to my mind a kind of black licorice smell and the darkest of wines. It is a very thick and deep smell. I don't smell anything floral in this. On me it continues to smell the same as in the bottle, only warmer. There is nothing light or bright about this smell. It makes me think of a combination of Fire and Earth, and lots of shadow. It does seem like a female scent. I could see it being worn to help get into the right mind set for some deep dark introspection and facing your own internal demons. I quite enjoy the smell of it, but it does put me into a more serious inward-looking state of mind. I'm considering getting a 5ml bottle of this.
