Wet - a lovely herbal blend, I primarily get lavendar and verbena off the top. Dry - as it dries I notice the thyme and a touch of sweet orange. After a half hour, I finally get a light trace of almond, but it's quite well-behaved. I am a big fan of herbal blends, and I like this one, but I don't love it. Which is good, since this is discontinued. I will definitely hang on to the imp, but I won't drive myself crazy trying to snag a bottle. However, if one were to fall into my lap, I wouldn't say no. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - The sage, orris and iris all blend together in a way that it is hard to distinguish any single note. This is very pretty. Dry - I can distinguish the individal notes a bit better now. I definitely smell sage and orris, but the orris is overwhelming the sage which is a pity, as I love sage. I am not sure what iris smells like, but obviously it's the floral note. I really don't notice any civet. I wish the sage was a bit stronger, but this is pleasant enough. I will certainly hang on to the imp. Wet - first sniff it smells almost medicinal, but after a few minutes I can tell it's the lavender I am smelling. Lavender mixed with something…I can't get any other specific notes yet. Dry - in order, I get lavender, sandalwood and nag champa. Three notes I love, but I am not sure I like them together. Lavender and sandalwood work, and I am sure sandalwood and nag champa would work, so it must be the lavender/nag champa combo that is not working for me. It's not that I dislike this, it's just that it smells not quite right. It's too bad, because I have been looking for a strong lavender blend, and this is about the strongest I have tried. Sad to say it just doesn't work for me. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - beautiful; just as pretty as it sounds. Dry - it fades relatively quickly but stays true while it lasts. On me gardenia is the top note, while the rest of the florals remain in the background. I am not a huge fan of floral only blends, but as far as they go, this is gorgeous. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - I'm not sure what wisteria smells like. This smells like gardenias, and I love gardenias so I am happy. A pretty white floral scent. Dry - Hello powder! Once again, rose does it's disappearing act. This is 90% powder, with a soft floral in the background. No sandalwood, no frankincense. Another for the swap pile. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 2.

Wet - primarily patchouli and cypress. It shows promise! Dry - cypress, fig and eventually ginger! The patchouli faded fast, I didn't notice it at all once this dried. This has a nice ginger scent, and I like it, but don't love it. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - the scent of blackness. Actually this reminds me of a wiccan store I used to frequent, they must have burned an incense similar to this. Dry - or maybe it just smelled like anything they were burning. This is awesome! Smoke, flame and ashes covers this perfectly, but my god, this is gorgeous. If you love the smell of burning wood, this is for you. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 4.

Wet - this smells familiar, but I can't place the notes yet. It get some kind of floral with a trace of dustiness. Dry - the floral sweetens up; I think there may be honeysuckle in here, along with gardenias. I still get a trace of dust; not the dustiness of rose but a dust note like in Miskatonic University, which is very fitting for a Hermit. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - this is very green. The smell is familiar…dandelions perhaps or maybe green grass, with a touch of spice hovering in the background. Dry - still green, a little perfumey, a little soapy, not for me unfortunately. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 2.

Wet - Mmmm, this smells more like blackberry than plum to me, but whatever it is, it is dark, ripe and fruity. Dry - sweet and fruity, but an underlying sourness comes out that I don't like. Is it sour wine? I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it ruins my enjoyment of this. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 2.

Preconceived Notions - I debated whether to order this or not, but floral and I are often not a good mix, so I passed. But once the reviews started coming in of a spicy floral, I knew I had to try some. Wet - Wow! This is gorgeous. It is a delicious, spicy floral. I can't name any notes; I don't notice any of the "usual suspects" yet. If this stays like this, it will be irresistable Dry - A little powder comes to the forefront, but it's not the powder that rose seems to turn on me, and I think I can tolerate it. Nope, I was wrong. Powder, overwhelming powder, and a bit of plastic. Oh and it's given me a headache too. Ah Beatrice, I tried to love you, but just like the story you were poison to my skin. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 2.

Preconceived Notions - When this was first released I kept looking at the description, 6 mints with white pepper and cucumber, and thinking, well that's one I know I am not going to try. But after falling in love with Villianesses Scintillating Smooch, I wanted to find a minty scent to go with it. This seems to be quite popular, so I thought I would give it a try. Wet - Minty, refreshing and yet light. I immeidiately get a nose full of spearmint. Dry - I am not a mint fan, so I am surprised by how much I like this. It starts out minty and cool and then dries down to a soft, soothing cucumber. I may have to swap for a bottle of this. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 4.

Preconceived Notions - Anyone who was at Beth's Love Potion workshop will probably remember me learning the lesson of a little of this going a long way, because I killed my first attempt by putting way too much red ginger in it. But I am a ginger freak, and was thrilled to get my hands on an imp of this. Wet - this isn't the sweet gingerbread note of Gingerbread Poppet and Bengal. This is ginger root, freshly cut, sharp and astringent and almost lemony. I love ginger, but it isn't necessarily THIS ginger that I love. Still, I do like it. Dry - as it dries it gets softer, and I realize I like this a lot. It's the scent of pure, fresh ginger. I wouldn't mind getting a bottle of this, just to punch up the ginger in other blends. Maybe I still haven't learned my lesson with ginger after all. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 4.

Origin - gift imp from the lab Wet - grass and vetiver. It makes me think of the African plains. Dry - The pepper and nutmeg combine with the vetiver, making a dry, spicy brown scent. It smells of high, dry grasses blowing in the breeze. This is something I would probably never wear, but I like it much more than I expected to. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Origin - a gift imp from the lab Wet - I was expecting this to be very woody, like Hamadryad, but when wet it's all mossy and herby. Dry - Mmmm…wood! There it is, this is all woods and herbs and greenery now. Very nice! On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - a light, citrusy musk. Dry - light and musky and very pretty. As everyone else has already said, it's much lighter than I expected. I really do like this, but it's not something I would really wear, so I am not hearbroken that I didn't get a bottle. I'll definitely keep the imp though! On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - a light, pretty, floral blend. Dry - more of the same, not much change. I wish I got more woods out of this, because this is straight floral on me. Very pretty, but a bit too floral for my taste. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - Hey, this is much prettier than I expected. Rose geranium seems to be the primary note, but it smells much nicer than the geraniums in my mother's garden. I smell a trace of juniper too. Dry - still mostly geranium with a bit of juniper. There is a mustiness I dislike, but it fades away after awhile and a bit of jasmine finally comes out to add sweetness. Honestly, I wasn't expecting to like this; I just wanted to try it because of the name...Tomb of Ligeia is my favorite of the Corman Poe flicks. But this is much nicer than I expected ad quite long lasting. I thankfully won't be searching for a big bottle, after all, it does contain geranium, but it's different enough that I might want to hang on to the imp. Look like I forgot to post this one! Origin - TAL circular swap Wet - bitter and astringent. I'm supposed to wear that? Dry - as it dries, it becomes much more pleasant. I smells woods and a touch of vetivert. An hour or so down the road this has morphed to all patchouli

Preconceived notions - I am quite fond of Queen of Spades, and decided I needed to try her partner. After falling in love with Noir and Geek, I have been on a quest to try everything that contains opoponax, and that plus vanilla and coconut sound incredible! Wet - sweeter than the Queen. Coconutty with something a little green, oakmoss perhaps, and a touch of overripe plum in the background. Dry - primarily plum and wood, much like the Queen, but with an overall coconut scent. The plum unfortunately smells overripe, nearly rotting, and it detracts from the rest of the notes. After an hour or so, it becomes a delicous mix of coconut, vanilla and opoponax. The plum and blackberries are gone, and it's absolutely lovely. Unfortunately it takes too long to get to that point. Oh well, I didn't need to fall in love with another hard to find LE. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Origin - this was gifted to my son, the eucalyptus fiend, by a lovely forumite. I snuck a sniff for testing purposes only. Wet - a sharp jolt of eucalyptus, followed by juniper. Dry - this is pleasant enough, although it's not really me. It reminds a bit of Whipoorwill, and makes me wonder just why I traded that away. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 2. However my son gives it a 5.

Origin - gift imp from the lab. Wet - a light spicy dragon's blood, similar to Dragon's Milk, only better. Postivitely edible! Dry - Cinnamon, possibly clove…why did I not know this was spicy and foody? This is like Sin, only better! I would definitely consider getting a bottle of this is the future. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 4.

Wet - jasmine. This is a very strong scent and has tons of throw. Dry - still primarily jasmine, there's other stuff in here, but no notes that I can pick out. This is very strong and lasts for several hours. I like it, but I have other jasmine blends, such as The Moon and Peitho, that I like better, and really don't have any need for this. But if I didn't already have those two blends, I would probably pick a bottle of this up. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best this rates a 3.

Wet - a sharp, sinus-clearing blast of eucalyptus announces it's presence and then immediately fades away, to let the other notes take prominence. Next up, cat pee, err..black pine. Dry - I can really see the association between this and the Pentacles suit. This is very earthy, the pine has taken a back seat to the patchouli and earth tones. This is quite lovely now and I can now totally see wearing this when meditating about any of the Pentacles. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 3.

Wet - Something astringent, citrusy, with a touch of lavender. Dry - lavender and sandalwood. This is quite pretty when dry, but I don't like it as much as any of the Somnium oils, although it does last longer on me. On the wickedgoddess scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, this rates a 2.
