  1. In the bottle - A strong very indolic honey

Wet on me - There isn't any jasmine listed on this, but to me it smells like all jasmine, which with my skin chemistry/nose means cat pee

Dry on me - That jasminy note dominates throughout

Overall - Just not for me

  2. In the bottle - A very sweet smooth myrrh with just a hint of copal

Wet on me - A soft green resin combination, round and smooth and rich

Dry on me - Warm rich smoothly rounded resins

Overall - I'm not normally one for an out and out resin, but this is lovely

  3. In the bottle - Pencil shavings from the cedar, touches of sweetness and a hint of almond in the background

Wet on me - A green, smoky cedar

Dry on me - A light green almost citrusy smoke

Overall - Surprisingly light and delicate in the dry down, but it doesn't grab me

  4. In the bottle - The thick warm vanilla of Snake oil with pumpkin spices

Wet on me - A slightly raw musk over thick vanilla and spices

Dry on me - A warm, creamy vanilla with musk and a touch of spice

Overall - I like this a lot and as its essentially Snake Oil with extra spice I have high hopes that with a little aging it will be amazing

  5. In the bottle - Hot spice, musk and a touch of something buttery

Wet on me - A very raw cinnamon dominates

Dry on me - A warm musky cinnamon scent

Overall - I may have to retry Sin to see how it differs, I think this is a little deeper but mostly its the same

  6. In the bottle - Apple, spices and smoke, essentially Samhain

Wet on me - A sharp slightly acrid furniture polish type scent, with an undercurrent of the fruits and spices of Samhain

Dry on me - A warm caramelly sweet smoky wood scent

Overall - Once settled down this reminds me so much of Hearth 2005, which is one of my favourite ever yules

  7. In the bottle - Marzipan sweetness with a touch of spice

Wet on me - Marzipan but with a burnt sugar undertone

Dry on me - A sweet light marzipan with hints of cinnamon

Overall - Pretty but it faded very quickly

  8. In the bottle - The dry creaminess of Morocco with a buttery undercurrent

Wet on me - The soft sweet carnations of Morocco still underpinned by butter and spices

Dry on me - The soft rich haziness of Morocco eventually overcomes all else

Overall - I like this, but mostly it's the same as regular Morocco

  9. In the bottle - Tea and a very candylike pumpkin

Wet on me - Ummm, caramelised gingerbread with a hint of fougere

Dry on me - A warm hazy musky vanilla tea with a hint of spice

Overall - I love this scent. Somehow the Pumpkin Patch makes Dorian everything I always wanted him to be but wasn't

  10. In the bottle - Background spices with a hint of creaminess I associate with Alice

Wet on me - All treacle and dark spices, a red hot cinnamon being particularly prominent

Dry on me - A dry spicy carnation with a lot of cinnamon on top

Overall - I like this a lot; once it settles down there's something really unusual about it

  11. In the bottle - Remarkably like sage and onion stuffing to be honest with you

Wet on me - The earthy greenness of the sage comes through

Dry on me - A dark, sweet and yet still earthy sage

Overall - Actually this is a really gorgeous scent

  12. … Her ofrenda is a bounty of melons and grapes, strewn with the petals of the flowers of motherhood, draped with sea mosses.

In the bottle - Soft pulpy gala melons

Wet on me - Tart green fruits

Dry on me - It disappeared completely

Overall - Didn't last on my skin

  13. In the bottle - A sweet, surprisingly pink floral

Wet on me - A milky, powdery floral with a slightly sharp edge, this reminds me a lot of the smell of a Lush shop

Dry on me - A clean soap scent

    Overall - Not really me

  14. Raspberry sherbet dotted with orangesicle, merlot gelato, pink cotton candy, and iced lime.

In the bottle - A swirl of sweet and tart fruits with a hint of fizz

Wet on me - Fizzy pineapple and creamy coconut, a bit like a pina colada

Dry on me - Sweet, sugary milk

Overall - I love the wet stages but the milkiness at the end is a little off putting

  15. In the bottle - Rich cocoa and a touch of something cool

Wet on me - There's a blast of pepper/nutmeg then a clean scent of the plum and the sandalwood with the cacoa hovering in the background

Dry on me - It disappeared completely

Overall - After about 30 minutes it disappeared completely on my skin

  16. In the bottle - Sweet peas, but with the tartness of a green apple to them

Wet on me - A very green sappy note under the freshness of the sweet peas

Dry on me - A soft gentle floral of powdery sweet peas

    Overall - Very pretty indeed

  17. In the bottle - A dark ripe lavender

Wet on me - A warm rich lavender and a very indol heavy floral

Dry on me - The indols go to cat pee on me and overpower everything else

Overall - Just didn't work on my skin chemistry

  18. In the bottle - An aggressively strong rose incensy note that I presume is rose champaca

Wet on me - Sweet sawdust and a touch of liquorice

Dry on me - A smoky, waxy, resin with just a touch of sweetness

Overall - I feel like I'm the only one who wanted more liquorice from this, but it just didn't grab me
