  1. In the bottle - Very exactly a peppermint candy cane

Wet on me - More like mint imperials now with the grainy powdery texture of the sugar and that sharp clear mint

Dry on me - Ashes, stale ashes

Overall - Sadly this just turns on my skin

  2. In the bottle - Rusty metal with a waft of mint

Wet on me - Mostly mint with just a hint of something dark beneath it

Dry on me - Something sweet and deep, I imagine the malted chocolate with a mentholly mint

Overall - I quite like the dry down, but I could do with a little less mint

  3. In the bottle - I can't quite pick it out, but it's really like a perfume my mum wore when I was little

Wet on me - It's quite faint, but mostly what I get is what I think must be the tobacco, but it is very round and berryish

Dry on me - It disappears completely

Overall - It's a pity this didn't last on my skin because I think that it would have been quite pretty

  4. In the bottle - Green sap and an almost bubblegum sweetness that I guess comes from the magnolia

Wet on me - A green waxy/peppery berry scent with an almost liquoricy undertone

Dry on me - A soft clean slightly sweet floral

Overall - I like this quite a lot, the only thing that puts me off is the waxiness early on

  5. In the bottle - Gingerbread and moss on a crumbling gravestone

Wet on me - A dry leafy mulch overlain by the spice of the gingerbread

Dry on me - Soft mulchy loam and a hint of dirt

Overall - A mote genteel sort of Zombie, but the gingerbread runs away

  6. In the bottle - A warm, lightly spiced gingerbread

Wet on me - A raw, red ginger scent with a hint of butter in the background

Dry on me - A faint fougere/musk skin note

Overall - I was really interested to see how the gingerbread and Villain would play together; but they don't, I get gingerbread first and then almost like a separate scent the Villain comes through

  7. In the bottle - Burnt gingerbread; really there's an acrid smoke note that is really quite unpleasant

Wet on me - A clean, slightly green musk beneath the gingerbread

Dry on me - A soft sweet gingerbread with a green earthy backdrop

Overall - Considering how many death notes there are in Troll this is surprisingly nice

  8. In the bottle - Less gingerbready than I was expecting with hints of a clean musk, not very Snake Oily either

Wet on me - A dark gingerbread with a raw spice note and a hint of vanilla in the background

Dry on me - A dark rich sticky gingerbread

Overall - I would have likes more of the Snake Oil to come through, but as I'm a bit meh on fresh Snake Oil anyway I think this may be one to age

  9. In the bottle - Good thick gingerbread with a hint of something dark in the background

Wet on me - The gingerbread seems to get warmer and spicier

Dry on me - This is mostly gingerbread, there is a green bitterness beneath but always masked by gingerbread

Overall - I like this a lot, which considering Satyr was fairly evil on my skin is impressive

  10. In the bottle - A dry new leather with a hint of sweetness

Wet on me - Smooth warm leather with a rich almost incensy rose behind it

Dry on me - Mostly leather with hints of sweetness

Overall - I like it, but not as much as I thought I would, which means that my decant will be enough

  11. In the bottle - Cookies and fruity yoghurt with a waft of spiky mint in the background

Wet on me - Cookies overlain within a sour note that I presume if is the cream but it's not working for me at the moment

Dry on me - A kind of sour milky ashy concoction

Overall - This just doesn't work on my skin

  12. In the bottle - A green smoky vetiver with a hint of aftershave

Wet on me - A soapy brusque aftershave type scent

Dry on me - Carbolic soap and Old Spice, warm dry masculinity

Overall - Bram Stoker smells like my dad  Or at least my childhood memories of him. Which I like, but wouldn't necessarily want to wear

  13. In the bottle - Sweet blackcurrant with an undertone of liquorice. Like those boiled sweets that are blackcurrant flavour and have a liquorice flavoured toffee centre

Wet on me - A dry almost musky liquorice with hints of tart blackcurrant

Dry on me - A light cool musk

Overall - Pretty, but it disappeared very quickly

  14. In the bottle - Almonds and a touch of dry fizziness, I know this will sound odd but it's almost like Gin & Tonic

Wet on me - Minty with a toffee like undercurrent and a touch of soap

Dry on me - A soft cool mans cologne type scent

Overall - It's cool dry and masculine I would have loved more of the almonds

  15. In the bottle - It smells like a hair dressers; soap, hairspray and a hint of electronic heat

Wet on me - Quite like Perversion as a sweet fruity tobacco with and undertone of leather

Dry on me - A warm reddish amber with a pencil shavings undercurrent

Overall - My favourite was the wet stages, but the dry down didn't grab me

  16. In the bottle - A sweet musky creamy scent with a sort if green/raw nut note that I presume is the raw coffee bean

Wet on me - Again a creamy/milky musk with just a hint of spice

Dry on me - A warm hazy musks with hints of spice and an underlying green patchouli

    Overall - Really, really lovely

  17. In the bottle - Proper deep incensy churchy frankincense

Wet on me - Again very churchy although veering slightly into furniture polish

Dry on me - It disappeared surprisingly quickly on my skin

Overall - It never really developed beyond the wet stages
