    International Shipping Info+Questions

Generally for me it's taken around 7 days from shipping date to arrival (in the UK), but I've had it take as little as 4 and as much as 18.

    Terpsichore

In the bottle - Neroli and something soapy. Wet on me - A sweet and quite light floral. Neroli and sweetpea are the only flowers I can identify, but there are definitelly others there. Dry on me - The flowers fade to leave a lovely, warm, creamy vanilla, which is much more comforting than I would have expeected.

    Red Phoenix

In the bottle - Dark (especially after the sweetness of its Pink sister). Patchouli is the only thing I can identify, but definitely not the only thing there. Wet on me - Almost entirely patchouli, with something else that's sharp but familiar. Dry on me - As it dries the patchouli becomes softer and the red musk becomes noticable, but with a slightly powdery feel.

    Pink Phoenix

In the bottle - sweet strawberries dipped in a Sugar Skull 2004 type syrup. Wet on me - Candy floss, with the sweet pea in the background, slightly sharp. Dry on me - Pink and sugary and oddly familiar. Also this blend tastes pretty good as well as smelling good . So girly it should have its hair in pigtails.

    The Great Sword of War

In the bottle - Bitter chocolate and someething reminiscent of Hollywood Babylon (I'm guessing it's the red musk). Wet on me - That same red musk, but with the sweetness of the manderin floating infront of it. Dry on me - Warm and spicy with just a hint of sweetness that boarders on that lotus bubblegum type scent. It seems to last forever as one of those scents that just sits off the skin, like I would be the only one to know that I waswearing any perfume at all. This is a definite 5ml purchase as soon as my next order.

    Dirty

In the bottle - A cold winters morning. Wet on me - Soapy lemons and something green. Dry on me - It becomes softer and more powdery and suprisingly warm as it fades.

    Crossroads

In the bottle - Incense and something green. Overall sharp and peppery. Wet on me - Greener and more peppery and at the same time softer, the blooms making their presence felt. Dry on me - Warm and herby, with the greeness fading to leave only incense.

    Clio

In the bottle - Dirty woods, with an edge of sweetness. Wet on me - Mosses? Yes mosses and that's all I smell Dry on me - Fades quickly, leaving just a faint, slightly sweet skin smell.

    Calliope

In the bottle - lavender and sweet citrus, more like candied peel than the fruit itself. Wet on me - Warm and golden, if reminiscent of lemon and honey cough sweets. Dry on me - Very warm and rounded, soft and golden, citrus remains the predominant feel, but it's not at all sharp. It fades quite quickly, but the faint scent that remains on my skin lasts all day and more.

The Bow & Crown of Conquest

In the bottle - My immediate reaction is that it smells like a Lynx product, but also a little like Tombstone, which is a favourite of mine. Wet on me - The leather note is most prominant with the lavender visible (?) in the background. Dry on me - This is a very close sibling of Anthony(unsurprising when you look at some of the notes). On me it's dry musky leather with a bitter greeness from the sage. Anthony is on the top of my 'I like it, but do I need more' pile and The Bow and Crown of Conquest joins it there.

    Bess

In the bottle - Sharper and stronger than I expected, the citrus dominates. Wet on me - Rich and fruity, with a tiny edge of mint cutting through. Dry on me - The scent quickly settles into a sort of rotting roses, over lush scent. Fortunately that doesn't last long and my lasting impression is one of something sweet and spicy and warming that I can't quite place.

    Tisiphone

In the bottle - Sweet and herby, with the spice of the patchouli sat in the background. Wet on me - Soapy green floral with something herby and something smoky in the background. Dry on me - Fenjal. Green but spicy. As time goes on it seems to become darker and more savage. I'm not generally a fan of florals, but if I had to wear one Tisiphone is my favourite so far.

    Sugar Cookie

2005 In the bottle - Butter and rum, which is worrying, because Grog was terrible on me. Wet on me - Liqueur truffes, with a little bit of that ashiness that suggests it might go bad on me. Dry on me - Ashes, the weird butter/alcohol notes combined with my skin chemistry reaction has struck again. So sad.

    Sloth

In the bottle - Myrrh, strong dark and slightly nutty. Wet on me - Dry and slightly more spicy Dry on me - The vetiver comes to the fore and is the dominant scent. It's slightly sweeter than in some other blends, but still just vetiver.

    Queen Mab

In the bottle - I'm not very good a identifying florals, but to me this just says rose. Wet in me - Again with the rose, but slightly sweetened. Dry on me - A very pretty green, slightly sweet floral that fades quickly on me.

    Midwinter's Eve

2005 In the bottle - Sweet berries. Slightly more like the actual fruit than the 2004 version which was very sweet like. Wet on me - Leaves, of the freshly torn variety, with the sweetness of the berries in the background. More green and sad than the 2004 version. Dry on me - This is what I expected sweet, yet also tart, lush berries and sugar and it lasts as well.

    Loup Garou

In the bottle - Menthol? I presume it's the eucalyptus, either way it smells of cough sweets. Wet on me - Predominantly eucalyptus with just a touch of smoky cedar in the background. Dry on me - Cedar (to be specific pencil shavings, but that's how cedar dries on me). All scent fades pretty quicky.

    Lick It

In the bottle - Unsurprisingly mint. Peppermint to be precise, and something chalky. Wet on me - Pure mint, pure and simple. Dry on me - Humbugs, hard mints with a creamy toffee centre, that lasts and lasts.

    Hearth

In the bottle - Sweet syrup and digestive buscuits, ever so slightly spiced and buttered. Wet on me - Butter, buscuits and furniture polish, a little harsh. Dry on me - Whoah, green pine, very strong and to me very scary. Half an hour on and this has faded, becoming smoky instead. Another couple of hours and all that is left is the rememberance of maple syrup just clinging to my skin far to faint for anyone else to smell. I like this, but not as much as I like the 2004 version, which is sad as I have only a tiny imp of that.

    Gingerbread Poppet

2005 In the bottle - Ginger and syrupy sweetness, with just a hint of that bakery smell. Wet on me - The cinnamon and nutmeg are sharper and at the front with the bakery doughy goodness just behind. Dry on me - At first the cloves make it smell slightly medicinal, but the spices fade, leaving only golden syrup glowing softly on my skin. I believe that this is more mellow than the 2004 version.

    Herr Drosselmeyer

In the bottle - Very like Hearth 2004. Dark smoky fruitiness, like a christmas pudding. Wet on me - Very similar to in the bottle, but there seems to be a slight mint edge to it. Dry on me - Thick, rich and fruity. Almost identical to Hearth 2004, which is a favourite of mine, so it's all good.

    Ephemera

In the bottle - Bright, lush florals, it's the lily that grabs the attention most. Wet on me - Slightly warmer and spicier than in the bottle. Lush and soothing. Dry on me - It fades quite quickly and becomes muted. A softness remains, but no specific scent that I can identify.
  23. Ajila

    The Caterpillar

In the bottle - Predominantly patchouli, strong and dark and slightly sour. Wet on me - The bergamot and neroli beocme present in the background, which has a softening affect. The jasmine is also present, this always smells a little sour on me, but isn't overpowering the blend as yet. Dry on me - It becomes a gentle, slightly sweet, powdery floral, pretty, whereas I was expecting something more languid and heavy.

    Beaver Moon 2005

In the bottle - Actually not as sweet as I was expecting. Cheesecake, cream and coconut, very nice. Wet on me - Predominantly a slightly sharp cheesecake mix, with added vanilla. Dry on me - Aaaargh! Melting Plastic! Fortunately this doesn't last very long (about 30 minutes) and when its gone it leaves a lovely, creamy, sweet, powdery vanilla that lasts for ages.

    Anubis

In the bottle - Sweet, spicy, some of the over ripeness that I associate with the honey in blends like O. Wet on me - Somehow spicier, but also cleaner, quite sharp. Dry on me - It becomes drier, hotter and, to me at least sweeter. I really like it, but a colleague complained of it smelling like BO, which has worried me somewhat.
