    Arcana

In the bottle this is wonderful. The lavender and frankinscence are in perfect balance, with a bit of a sharper, (lemony?) note. It smells light and beautiful. On my skin, it smells almost perfect, but something is not quite right. This one was a little too green for me. I think it's the rosemary and verbena.

    Aeval

I liked this one a lot more than I thought I was going to. I'm not normally a floral person, but the sage and musk made this passable on my skin. It was sweet and light. A really beautiful blend, although not one I'd wear regularly. I'd wear this if I was going to be around children, or at a family function.

    Voodoo

I really wanted to like this one, but I am beginning to think cloves and I don't get along. It may be the almond combined with the patchouli, but this one was just too much. I'm normally one for the spicy, dark scents. I'm definitely not a foodie, and florals tend to get too cloying, but this... I'm just shaking my head. In the bottle it was beautiful and dark. Spicy and complex, everything I usually look for. On my skin, almost immediately the patchouli and clove rise to the surface and smack me in the face. I can faintly detect the almonds underneath but they're turning. Drydown isn't much different than wet on me. I'm sorry Voodoo, we just weren't meant to be!

The Bow & Crown of Conquest

The Bow & Crown of Conquest made its way onto my big bottle list almost immediately after I opened my imp. In the bottle, it's a deep masculine scent and once I swipe some on my wrists I am in heaven. The vanilla and leather combine to form this awesome comfy scent that just makes me want to curl up on the couch with a fuzzy blanket and a good book. The lavender never came out for me, which was mildly disappointing but somehow, the scent made up for it. This is a warm and cozy scent, but I would not recommend it for someone looking for a conventional perfume.

    The Caterpillar

I just got an imp of this last week, and I'm already in LOVE. The Caterpillar is unlike any scent I've ever tried before. It was a beautiful, dark blend that turned slightly incense-y on the drydown. I could not keep from sniffing my wrists all day. The jasmine and carnation balanced each other beautifully, and there was a certain spicy note that came out after a bit that I couldn't pin down but smelled delicious nonetheless. I'm not sure if it's my skin chemistry or what, but this smelled slighly reminicent of Charlie by Revlon on me. Weird huh?
