So, our production of Traviata is set in the present. Instead of reading letters on her deathbed, Violetta checks her text messages. Really.

Aaand of /course/ none of the extended-stay hotels in Portland are actually near downtown. Planning this is getting really frustrating.

Of /course/ the only flight with a /reasonable/ connection location (PDX-->SFO-->ONT) has only 30 minutes between the flights. *headdesk*

Traviata sitzprobe went well! I'd forgotten how much fun being in the orchestra for an opera is.
