This is odd. In the bottle, it smells sweet & there's a hint of incense & spice. Wet I smell the spice and florals..there's a tang underneath it all that reminds me of the tangy scent of C Howards violet candies-even though there's no violet in the description. And then the middle notes start to come out and I get...marigold. I couldn't remember what was in Mictecacihuatl but I was convinced that it had a strong marigold scent...and marigolds are traditional Dia de Los Muertos flowers, so it would make sense. About 15 minutes later the scent morphed and gave me more spices with a hint of marigold and underlying sweetness. There's no marigold in the description. Perhaps I hallucinated it.
