This is definitely a WOW scent! When I opened the bottle to sniff it, all I could think was OMFG, this is fantastic! It's an amazing mix of fruits, fall florals & spices. When I first put it on, the spices jump out & for a few minutes all I can smell is cinnamon. But that changes to this gorgeously complex fall scent where I can pick out the apples, pears & wine. It's made more fallish by the mulling spices and balanced with the florals. Holy cow. I usually try to wear different perfumes each day, but I may be wearing this beauty daily until Thanksgiving!

I've been wanting to try this because I love gardenias, but I just don't really get that with this oil. I smell something gardenia-like, but it's just not for me. It's sweet, a little too cloying, and there's a warm spiciness/incense that's just not working for me. *shrugs*

I don't know why I waited so long to get this. It's sooo similar to one of my all time favorite Lush soaps: Snowcake. In the bottle it's sweet almond, but not gaggingly sweet. Like a good quality marzipain. On my skin & during the drydown it doesn't really morph, just stays sweet, mellow, almondy goodness. It gets a little more sugary, but that just makes it even more comforting. It feels like wrapping up in a down quilt with a good book & a hot chocolate. *sigh*

A song of love and madness: two roses, tolu balsam and ambergris with vanilla, labdanum, tobacco leaf, carnation and tonka. I bought this last weekend at the Black Broom - it looked lonely sitting there with all the catalog scents. I'd debated & debated buying it when it was available online, and ultimately didn't get to it. Am I ever glad I got a chance at this one! In the bottle is roses with something warm, probably the vanilla. On the skin it's mostly roses, mellowed out with vanilla & a tiny hint of carnation & tonka. The throw on this is amazing, as is the staying power. I applied it before 7am this morning & it's almost 10:30pm & it's still going strong. All day I kept getting these amazing whiffs & for half a second I thought "what is *that*??? " Oh yes, it's me!

In the imp it smells like lemongrass to me (almost exactly like Lush's Avobath bath bomb). As soon as I apply though it smells *just* like Lemon Pledge. Not so fun memories of cleaning the living room furniture. But after it dries down it gets sweeter, herbier & greener.... It reminds me of the scent I would get when I would crush leaves from our lemon tree that we had when I was a child, which IMO smells wonderful! There's a tang of ozone too, which I think gave me the "lemon pledge" association at first. It's not what i expected from the description, but it is a nice blend.

In the bottle this smells like really buttery caramel corn. It's so sweet & foody that I was certain I wouldn't like it. When I first put it on, I don't get either of those scents. It smells coconutty at first, but then immediately dries down to a sweet milky scent. Every now & then I get a whiff of salty butter, but mostly it's a sweet condensed milk scent. It fades quickly on me, but I enjoy it while it lasts.

In the bottle, it's super super sweet, almost sickenly so. But after I've applied it & it has had a chance to dry down a bit, it's sweet lotus with a hint of vanilla. I can't really pick out the citrus in this. It's nice, not a favorite, but I'm sure I'll use up the imp.

I picked this up at the Black Broom, having no idea what the scent notes were, but loving it after I had the chance to give it a whiff! In the bottle it smells like expensive dark chocolates, with a hint of nutiness. It's slightly woodsy & a very very *very* faint herby/floral thing going on. On my skin it's still dark chocolate, but the woodsy patchouli notes start to come forward. There's a bit of sweetness there too. Once dry, it really retains that woodsy scent, with chocolate sweetening things up a tad. To me, this is such a unique blend and one that I truly think is unisex. I'm loving it!

What a great label for the brains! Can't wait to get mine... My favorite LE labels so far are the All Saints' bats, Samhain's pumpkin, and the Chaos Theory (1st round) snowflakes.

In the bottle: This smells so similar to Diptyque's PHILOSYKOS to me, which is fig & white cedar, but I think it smells like damp fresh coconuts. I *love* Philosykos, but never sprung for the perfume. I'm so excited to try this! On: Gorgeous!!!! Coconut is one of my all time favorite scents, and this is lovely. Coconut with a little sweetness from the hazelnut & just a hint of floral to keep things interesting. Dry down: Fades pretty quickly on me... next time I will slather. The coconut has really stepped to the background as hazelnut steps forward. The floral notes are a bit powdery now. Warm sweet soft blend.... I feel like I should be relaxing on the beach somewhere applying suntan lotion - no cares in the world. I love this scent! I see a big bottle in my future...

In the bottle: Super sweet, super pink & super creamy! The more I think about it, it reminds me of strawberry bubbleyum. Or those strawberry & cream hard candies. But it also reminds me of Chaste Moon, but fruitier. On: Strawberry becomes more noticeable when i apply. There's almost a bit of plastic-y smell when wet, but it disappears as it dries. I can't really pick out any florals. On dry down, it's a beautiful creamy strawberry... with hints of vanilla. Lovely!

This has been my standard springtime scent for the last 2 months. In the bottle it smells sort of candy-ish to me. Once I'm wearing it though it's a beautiful floral. I'm not good at picking out specific notes - to me it smells like a big bouquet with roses as the centerpiece. Puts me in mind of a lovely spring stroll through a colorful, blooming garden.

This was gifted to me from a dear friend who completely enabled me into BPAL. Even after all the oils I've tried & ordered I still reach for this one. On me it's a beautiful fresh tea rose, kissed with dew. Slightly sweet, slightly aquatic, but 98% rose rose rose. I can wear it every day love it anew every day. To me, it reminds me of spending time with my dad when I was growing up... trimming the rose bushes and placing beautiful fresh cut blooms around the house. *sigh*

I would LOVE a scent similar to lovely Florabundance!!! *pines for a fresh Florabundance ballistic...* And I want to thank all the people that mentioned Delirium = Amandopondo. I had Derlirium for a month now & just hadn't gotten to trying it. I loooove it!
