    Plunder

Arr, plunder! I was also hopeful for this one, and hope has failed sadly. I was hoping for something more masculine. Imp: VERY cinnamony Wet: Still really cinnamon based, with a hint of tea Dry Down: Mostly sandalwood now, a bit too feminine for me. Big Bottle?: Nope, sorry, yet again. My wife also likes this one, so she can have it.

    Calico Jack

Ahoy mates, I have tried Calico Jack...I was little weary, and for good reason it seems. I'm not a big citrus/clean fragrance kinda guy. That does not go to say that I do not appreciate the blend, but it's not really for me...or so my chemistry says... Imp: Very sharp, clean almost lemony Wet: Still lemony, but something blue-green coming through, a soft musk. Dry Down: Still having alot of crsip clean notes, no leather, no woods, sadness only. Big Bottle?: Nope, sorry. My wife likes it on me, so I'll still wear it for her, but I know it is gonna give me a headache...hence my apprehension towards these kinds of scents. EDIT: I might buy a 5ml of this, I wore it to work and the headache came, but the lasting power of this really sold me. Plus, it smells pretty good...

    Brimstone

In Hermetic alchemy, brimstone is one of the Three Heavenly Substances, one of the primary alchemical Priciples. It represents the strength of will and the vigor of passion, and it is a symbol of the process of fermentation. A smoky, gritty blend, husky and gray. Alright, my nose not be as trained as the lot of you, but here I go: BRIMSTONE! WOW! What can I say; In the Imp: Very sharp, almost a stinging scent. Very mysterious and dirgeful. Wet: Reminds me of childhood. The last dying embers of a raging bonfire, put to death by morning dew. After I put it on, not using the wand mind you, I immediately felt like I was about 6 years old again, going outside at our lake house in the early morning, perfect. I wasn't scared to try this one at all, the description sold me. Dry Down: I do notice a very fragrant spice, must be vetiver. I honestly feel a bit "violent" when smelling it on me. Makes me feel a bit evil. All in all, I will be buying a 5ml of this. It certainly does have a menacing quality, I like that.
