How disappointed I was!! This smelled like plastic, cheap, air freshener for the car. Grrrggghhh.... ADDED April 16: wet: sickly sweet cherry; medicinal; no cream at all... dry: sickly cherry smell has faded; now it's a nice creamy cherry; touch of sugar

Wet: red and sticky Dry: cheap port (in comparison to Bordello which smells like a lovely merlot)

Wet: too many notes; perfume smash Dry: after lay down, the honey cream is prominent; maybe that's the rice; however, the floral is still so strong that the perfume is still there, even if subtle

Wet: Very strong blood musk/resin. Dry: I want to like it, but musk hates me, especially of the blood type...

Wet: cloying! perhaps the sweet pea? Dry: too soft and pink

Wet: Ew! total peppermint...I can't even detect any other notes... ADDED April 22: yargh; nothing but candy cane; no vanilla, no sugar; just red and white striped mint

Wet: Whoa! Yup; that's a dandelion I smell... Dry: still dandelion, but lighter and sweeter; honey is now present...kind of nice

Wet and Dry: it smells like the beads that come in a toilet paper holder...or like funeral flowers...gag

I am pulling no caramel, which bites because that's why I ordered it. Lovely cream honey; skin musk; very soft, though; I'd have to bathe in it for any effect long term.

Wet: orchid and moss, but in a nice way; pleasent ADDED 1/29/10: Alas, all florals go soapy on me...

This is exactly what I was looking for when I ordered Black Pearl; Black Pearl didn't work because of the powdery musk, but this is wonderful! Creamy coconut, heavy, and sweet.

Orris, black amber, bergamot, plum and grapefruit. I really like this, although I hate all forms of amber. The grapefruit and plum are gorgeous; dark and lush.

Wet: simple; green, but not woodsey or mint; kind of like a fresh dark garden Dry: ew: jelly belly green

I was surprised to like this so much as I don't like amber or sandalwood; however, the vanilla and sweet pea are gorgeous and definitely cover up that incense flavor I usually get with the former notes; lovely and soft!

Wet: perfumey; fresh; reminds me of CKOne; freesia is a bit strong; good for summer Dry: becomes way too strong; Dillards department store; too bad cause it's a nice smell

Wet: really masculine; I can't really smell the condensed milk; the tea smells more like tobacco...will wait for it to lay down thirty minutes later: I am so glad I waited; the tobacco is barely in the back; mostly it's a lovely sweet cream. Delightful! I can't believe I hated this in the bottle...

I'm quite intrigued; something reminds me of studying at Harlaxton Manor in England; like a cathderal without incense, or a library...

Brine and salt; not very delicious, I must say.

Smoky floral; might be nice for someone else, but not me.

Yuck. It smells like mouthwash. I smell nothing remotely purple.

Thick, sugared and bloated with sweetness. Dark chocolate, vanilla, buttercream, and hops with pralines, hazelnut, toffee and caramel. This knock Candy Butcher, Bliss, and Vice in the dirt. This is absolutely sinful and gluttonous; I love it! Sweet Amsterdam candy shop is what I am reminded of... ADDED Dec. 21: Imp: oh my goodness, it's sinfully good! buttery creamy caramel...yum...my saliva glands just secreted ... Wet: oh, the pralines and hazlenut are now peeking through the rich golden cream...yes! Dark choclolate, vanilla, and toffee are present as well...heaven... Dry: hmmm...theres an odd lingering note that I'm not sure I like...what is it? kind of dark and plastic, not sweet... Verdict: I want to salvage this; will try again...
