the decant smells fantastic. it smells sweet, juicy and dark. on my skin it quickly turns to clove and ambery copal. kind of powdery, but not unpleasant. it eventually dries down into a close to the skin scent. It doesn't wow me, but i kind of like it.

the scent is very warm and white, ethereal but grounded with spices and herbs. I received my imp from someone on the forum, when i first took it out of the package the scent was strong, heady and I wasnt sure it was what I was looking for. I decided to use it in my own work and the impression and feeling i get is completely different from my first intrusive introduction to the scent. I decided to use it as described. I anointed my chakras, palms, and anointed a mini candle (it was blue, the most fitting color I currently have). I rolled out a yoga mat, lit the candle, laid down and closed my eyes. The scent wasn't half as strong as I remembered. I felt relaxed... but almost lucidly dreaming. I attempted to focus on the light of the candle and the relaxing nature of meditating. Every sound was magnified, but not bothersome. I had a song stuck in my head. It didn't go away but it became clear it was appropriate for the work I have been doing, fading in and out through my session. I feel very relaxed, a bit distant, and definitely cleansed. All the tension I have had in my head is fading away. I hope the effects last for a while.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this blend, my chemistry doesn't often cooperate with floral scents that don't include a dark note of some kind. This is light pink in nature, its very relaxing and pretty, but not too delicate. The top note stage is beautiful, right now i am entering the middle stage with it and it is creamy, soft, it reminds me of the coconut in the last unicorn and I really like it. If the final stage is just as pretty then I am ordering a bottle immediately. edit: I have officially struck out on this lupercalia. The final stage of this perfume smells exactly like the plasticy aftermath of snow white. Sigh.

i decided to take a chance with furo, though vanilla is sadly an enemy of my skin. upon application it is not immediately plasticy so that is a very good sign. it smells very familiar, as if part of a scent memory. I know what it is. There was a little shop in my home town called The Wishing Tree. It was a place full of magical items and resin incense. It is still in the top note stage and i am enjoying it... very good memories. I so hope this scent works. i will update soon. edited: ok, just as I thought this was going to be at least a decant I would pick up occasionally, on the base note dry down patchouli immediately amped up into a nauseating cloud around me. Sad face I really like the firs two stages of this one.

i like this a lot. it was a bit of sake during the wet stage, but now its like a mellow lemon with amber and sweet edges. it's what i wanted lemon-scented sticky bat and june gloom to be. I am seriously considering a bottle.

I don't get any chocolate once it hits my skin. its all wormwood and anise as its starting to dry, then it kind of mellows out and rounds its self. its much nicer on the dry down, it gets sweeter too. it's like absinthe with an ample sugar cube.

wet, this smells like fresh mango and white chocolate with a light hazelnut cream. on me... it smells almost woody. i think its the hazelnut and patchouli, there is a light creamy note in the background. I think this would smell amazing on the right person.

wet this smells very creamy and sweet, soft and relaxing. on me, i smell a very strong aquatic note, which may or may not be present. now, i am getting the cream note from love's philosophy, the sweetness is fading into the background and i get soft roses, light cream and white moss. its pretty. not sure if I want a full bottle. i will probably try it again.

in the imp, the red musk and wood notes jump out at me. on my skin it starts off the and slowly morphs from a very woodsy scent to a pleasing red musk with some floral. about 5 minutes in it starts to disappear on my skin, and then morphs into a creamy scent. i don't like it in its last stage.
-
just after application it smells like clean musk, and i get the light floral notes which are very pleasant. unfortunately, it is starting to turn into cleaning solution/ dryer sheets. bummer. i really liked it before it was on my skin.

If your top 5 scents are... Then try these!

this sounds like fun! here are my top 5 in no order kabuki the last unicorn queen mab tarot:the star sin runner ups.. Scheherazade, marianne, pele, midnight kiss (throwing in a wrench for extra difficulty... no honey, vanilla or almond) -
in the bottle i mostly smell the lavender with hints of ginger and something else, i assume it is the rice wine on my skin... it is sharp lavender and rice wine at first and after a minute or two the plum blossom comes out to play and makes this scent completely different from what i was smelling in the bottle the ginger and plum blossom take center stage and the scent goes from being cool and sharp to warm and inviting. the longer i wear it, the spicier it becomes. I am falling in love with this scent. It's the only bottle from this year i bought with out testing it first. ETA: ok sadly, all the fun beauty of this scent has disappeared and i am left with very lightly scented dryer sheets.

This scent is fresh and vital. I get the white mint, lime and tea immediately, the yuzu comes out and mixes with the mint. This is my favorite of the hair glosses so far. I could easily wear this every day. I am going to attempt to track down an entire bottle now...

on the intial dry down i get juicy pomegrante... then quickly it turns into generic "christmas" scent candle on me I'm hoping this has something to do with my cycle. When i first tried it 3 or so years ago I loved it. I will have to try it again.

it's been a while since i've trying this one. I rememer it bening minty, grassy and awesome. however, I've had this imp for a while now. No mint so far, just slightly old grass clippings and a little bit of sweet lavender. the grass note is killing it for me. Now the nice lavender is disappearing and its just that mostly dead grass smell. sigh... I was planning on getting a bottle of this on my next order but I think its going to be a skip for me

red musk and wood. tickles the back of my throat. i think the mango is making it smell medicinal. the wet stage started ok. now its just.. bleah. now im getting a headshoppy vibe. which is better, but still headache inducing. i need to wash it off....

mellow. surprisingly mellow for the notes. wet it is slightly herbal, but not obnoxiously so. i can tell there is rose in there but its very hidden. as it dries it becomes sweeter, almost like a barely there sweet tart. i'm gugessing thats from the lemon and mint. it stays so close to the skin, its so light and i suspect it will fade completely in a few minutes. Thats too bad because i like it.

jasmine, rose, something is turing very powdery which might be the dragon's blood. i remember this scent being a lot stronger on the cinnamon, however, my imp is well aged perhaps that note or some peppery one has been tempered with time. I'm on the fence. I'll have to try it again.

directly on my skin....wet sweet fruits, light florals, slowly turning clean. its getting lighter as it dries. the sandalwood is starting to peak through to really ground it. and now its getting soapy, though not unpleasent, but its like another reviewer said almost shampoo like.
-
upon application i smell something almost fruity, but dark. like a blood orange but a dehydrated one? at this stage i am having trouble picking out notes but so far I like it a lot. it has a warmth to it, i can smell a dirt note in the background but its not making the scent go rancid on me like most other scents with that note do. now its starting to smell more tea like. its earthy but warm and i am still picking up a creamy citus note. i am going to bet this one is a keeper and a potential bottle purchase for me

when wet on my wrists i get a lot of white florals jumping out at me, then it tempers into juicy tart fruits and then it settles into a delicious sweet, creamy and perfect scent. It's not foody, its what I imagine dorian or alice should smell like when they dry down(on me), but those scents have vanilla.. I'm fairly certain there isnt vanilla on this blend unless its a vanilla that the lab rarely uses. the bpal vanilla usually goes plasticy and bandaid on me. This, however, does not. I am so so happy I was able to buy this from someone on the forum. this is easily in my top 5 bpals of all time. I hope they decide to bring it back.

i put it on with out knowning what the notes were... its very strong, heady- and beautiful! the red musk works on my in this scent much like it does in schrezade. i typically have bad luck with these kinds of scents like smut, mme moriarty, snake charmer.. and many others i cannot think of now. this scent glows a deep red, its a heavy velvet that just lets the sexiness of your own scent peak through.
-
i only sniffed the bottle, but this is very unique. it smells warm, and yes... it glows! The idea of wearing something called glowing vulva has its appeal and recoil. lol trying to extract my memory from the St.L meet and sniff, the bottle did not smell sweet to me, i could see how it might smell carmex-like to someone (or sadly turn that way on their skin) but of course it was much more complex. dry wood, spice and the glowing element is my best description from only sniffing.

This is a vanilla like scent that does well on me! i can list many bpal vanillas that smell terrible on me. this one is different! it doesn't turn plasticy on me for once like antique lace and snake oil for example. the strange thing about this scent is the minty note. it reminds me of the mint in villainess' scintillating smooch! which i love... a lot! okay... now to plot an order with money i dont have......... update... i can STILL smell it on my wrist and i put it on almost 12 hours ago. this stuff last forever on me.

i think pele would be a good one
