Imp: Really nice woodsy scent. Wet: Smells like woods and snow. I like this. Drydown: A very rich woodsy scent. Not my usual thing, but I find I can't stop sniffing it.
-
Imp: Lemon, grapefruit and a bit of teakwood. Bright! Wet: Some of the mint has come out and is tempering the brightness, but none of the tea or leather is around. Boo. Drydown: This ends up with a ton of amber and tea, still no leather, but I quite like it.
-
Imp: Something musky and spicy. Yay! Wet: It smells like spicy dirt. And yet I like it. Drydown: Less spice, but deep earthy-ness. Not sure how sexy I feel, but I like the scent well enough to keep it around.
-
mp: Orchid and sandalwood dominate, but I can pick out some musk underneath and a hint of jasmine. Very pretty but probably not for me. Wet: I can still smell the sandalwood, but something has gone all plasticky. Drydown: Indistinguishable floral notes. Not me, but pretty and the plasticky went away.
-
Imp: It actually does smell largely of dead roses, which I kind of like, I can also pick out the plum and berry notes. Nice in the imp. Wet: Wow. This has gotten darkly sweet, more dead roses but also the black plum. Kind of smells like...rotting or maybe dried flowers, but in a good, sweet way. Drydown: Oh man, I love this. It stays the same as the wet stage, has decent throw and staying power, and is just really nice and different.
-
Imp: Smells like freshly cut apples and an undertone of hyacinth. Pretty! Prettiest dragon ever! Wet: the apple blossom and hyacinth dwarf everything else and make this more floral than I like. Drydown: Mostly floral, with some apple sweetness still around. Still a pretty scent for a dragon, but will probably work better for someone else.
-
Imp: tons of civet and musk. No opium in the imp so far. Wet: Musky, dirty....it smells like a female college friend's room, actually. Totally reminds me of debauchery and sensuality. Drydown: This is a really nice dark musky smell that definitely reminds me of sex. However, I could only get away with wearing it in certain situations.

The spirit of temptation, the essence of lost innocence. Apple blossom, rose, ylang ylang and golden honey. Imp: Rose, with a tinge of apple. Drat. Wet: Hm, more apple, but still too much rose. Yet it isn't as horrid, due the apple. No honey. Drydown: Rose-scented soap. Unsurprising.
-
Bottle: Prominent cocoa with some fig thrown in, with an underlying something that I can only describe as sweet darkness and which I think might be the combination of the palm and wooded notes. Lovely and rich and complex. Wet: Wonderful cocoa and fig, with woody undertones. This is one of my favorite scents. The cocoa and fig predominate without it smelling foodie. Drydown: Doesn't really change at all from the wet stage. Also lasts a long, long time.
-
Imp: Something high and sharp, almost medicinal but not unpleasantly so. Can't really pick out individual notes. Wet: Oooh. Something dark and smoky that I didn't get at all in the imp, maybe the myrrh? Unexpected and pleasant. Drydown: Rich and earthy smell. What I wished Samhainophobia had smelled like on me. Reminds me of the movie Tombstone. Unusual, but I like it!
-
Imp: I can smell the sharp herbal-ness, but I can also pick up the peony smell underneath, and something darker underneath that. Interesting. Wet: The peony has amped up and I can detect a little rose, but this is still mostly herbal. Herbal usually doesn't do well on me but I think the peony is helping. Drydown: Soft and pretty peony smell, with an herbal undertone. Not me, but pleasant.
-
Imp: Musk, ambergris, and a little sandalwood and vanilla. Wet: More of the vanilla. This is pretty. Drydown: Warm vanilla. Very nice, but not as complex as I would like.
-
Imp: Ugh. Vick's VapoRub. Wet: Same. Not sure I can stand this enough for a drydown. Drydown: Nope. Had to wash it off, but I'm pretty sure it would have stayed the same.
-
Bottle: fig, pomegranate and something really sweet. Nice! Wet: Sweet but not cloying. Still the fig and pomegranate, and some olive oil to temper it. Drydown: The amber comes out of hiding a little bit towards the end, but still fig and pomegranate and olive oil dominate. I really like this.
-
Imp: OOh. Oak and apple. Nice. Wet: Omg, This is gorgeous. It smells like an apple orchard. Not foody, just clean outdoor apple orchard smell. I love it. A little smoky too! Drydown: This is just beautiful, crisp apple scent and smokiness.
