I thought that this idea was addressed a couple months ago, but what became of it I'm sure I don't know. I myself was wondering if Beth does her own website updates or if she has a web administrator. I emailed her a little while ago, offering to do all her website updates, as I have 2 other sites I'm admin for and this would be a piece of cake, no trouble at all for me. I haven't heard back about this. I think a lot of us have skills Beth could use, and we certainly seem to want to volunteer. What we need is a yes or a no from Beth. We can't do ANYTHING without her go-ahead. Maybe she just doesn't want the help. We don't know anything without her input.

You can go to CCNow.com and find all your orders there. You will need to put in the credit card number you used and one other piece of info (like your email) and it will spit out all the orders you have with them. Just FYI. I usually delete my emails too, so I was glad to find out you can still get the info off of CCNow!

Thanks so much, this makes me feel much better!! Still blast those IT people at Dupont...

That is just....really KEWL!
-
It seems to be a bit longer than that. I would say it's more like about 14-21 days lately.

Thank goodness! I could just see myself going in to work, hum-dee-dum-dee-dum, then getting home and checking the website just in time to see "Sorry, we're all sold out"!!! YIKES!
-
Yes, but I was wondering, if perchance it is updated while I am at work and unable to access it, do limited editions sell out so quickly that there would be a chance of my missing it? Or do they generally take more than an 8-hour workday to sell out? That's my concern: not being able to access the site from work and missing the opportunity. Thanks for any insight!

THAT'S JUST WRONG. I am SO jealous.

No, no, it wasn't speculation. I was simply relaying what was posted on MUA and asking opinions if we should counter-post with "no, they are not out of business." But as I said in the chatter section...eh, more BPAL for me then! I will post on MUA if you think it's appropriate. I didn't want to do it without permission.

I think that's all GREAT news! The shipping situation will be straightened out, CCNow can go take a flying leap, and a buck or two per 5mL isn't going to phase me in the least. The new scents sound amazing as always. And may I say, it sure was good to see your post. Missed you!

In all my swaps to Canada, I've put "collectable bottle" on the customs forms and they seem to get there relatively quick. LOL, collectable bottle. Well, they ARE...

That would be my thought. The "received" date is the date you place the order, from my experience. That's the date CCNow receives it. The CCNow "ship" date seems to be the date that Beth pulls the order from CCNow and starts to fill it. Depending on how many (!!!) orders she pulls, it may be a while to get all of those out the door. So far, I have gotten three packages with USPS confirmations and one package without (but that was a reship a couple months back). So everything seems to be working, we just have to remember that we're in a queu...probably a very long one!! Think of it as standing in line at Disney!

Ismene!!! That was exactly what I thought when I smelled this for the first time yesterday. Actually, what I thought was "This smells like Johnny Depp!" Totally weird! It's an extremely interesting scent.

No, actually it was for Tigger1066, who had just asked about the email delivery failure.
-
I got my order today too!! I'm in 7th heaven!!!
-
Tigger, are you using the "papow" address? That one doesn't work anymore. The "cupcake@blackphoenixalchemylab.com" should be working OK. Jeez, I hope it's working OK!
-
Email. Well, I knew I'd f*ck it up, and I did.

Yes, that's still the Paypal address. I guess it's more like a username with Paypal than an actual working email. My Paypal account is under another email address that I never use. I don't think Paypal much cares! -

Nope, "@papow.com" has long been scrubbed. As far as I understand, it's all "@blackphoenixalchemylab.com." -

Getting sick of orders showing up as delivered...
ebonykawai replied to kebechet's topic in Announcements
Oooooo!! I LOVE FedEx!! I've never had any problems with them EVER. Plus they pick up too, right? That could rid you of your trips to the USPS. I didn't know that about the USPS, Quantum Spice. Very interesting. They put my overlarge packages in a USPS bag and hang it on my mailbox "flag." Sometimes they leave it at my door though. Depends on the mailperson. -

I would say to get a signature for packages that are going to apartment buildings. With a house, it's easier. It either gets to the house or it doesn't. When I lived in an apartment several years ago, the mailman used to just dump all packages on a table in the hall. Anybody had access to them. I would think that the buyer would want such protection as signature confirmation. It's a guarantee that someone in the building is not swiping their stuff! Hate to say it, but it does happen. -
**chuckles** I made my hubby get snipped. After a round of depo that made me lose my period for a YEAR and gain 20 pounds in two months, he thought better of letting me take all the responsibility for birth control. Plus, pushing out two babies was no picnic either. So I gave him a choice: get snipped at the doctor's office or I'm getting out my knife right here!! You poor thing, Beth. I know exactly how you feel. Ugh.

That's a good point, especially concerning the larger orders.
