I really smelled the cherry blossoms when I first sniffed it in the imp. It smelled a little too fruity for me at first, but it really settled down when I put it on. I didn't smell much of the ozone/metalic scent, but that might just be my nose. Sadly, it doesn't feel like it's lasting very long on me -- maybe that's just because it's a really light scent. However, I really like it. Maybe not a big bottle purchase, but I will definitely use my imp.

Okay, when I first smelled this in the imp this morning, I hated it. It smelled like strong oranges. I decided to put it on anyway and give it a try. I'm so glad I did.
Oh. My. God.
I smell so good. It smells like milky roses and carnations. I can't stop sniffing my wrist. And now, it's settled down into a sweet honey scent.
This is the next big bottle I'm buying!

I really liked the smell of this in the bottle. It wasn't as sweet as some others, but it still had a really beautiful floral scent. It really bloomed (if you'll forgive the terrible pun) when I put it on my wrist, but sadly, it wasn't very strong. Two hours later, it had almost completely faded, and while I like the scent, I need something a little more long lasting. This one went to the swap pile...

I thought I was going to hate this when I first smelled it in the bottle. The herbal scent was really overwhelming there. I put it on anyway, and I must say, I'm glad I did. The minute I put it on, it morphed into a really sweet/spicy smell. It was extremely strong for a little bit (and I might have put a little too much on because it smelled so fabulous), but now it has settled down to a really nice sweet scent. I really like this one!
(I get the Coca-Cola thing too. It does sorta smell like that!)

Okay, I really liked the smell of this in the bottle. It was flowery, but not sweet, more neutral. However, when I put it on, I really started to smell the incense. I just don't think I'm an incense fan. It started to remind me more of a New Age shop than perfume. The incense really began to overpower all the other smells for me.
Now that I've had it on for a few hours, the flower scent has come out more, though it is subdued. However, the hint of the resin/incense is too much for me. I think I need to stick to the flowery scents more than anything else.

I posted this in my LJ when the forum was down...
(This was the first BPAL I ever tried.)
When I first sniffed it in the bottle, I thought it was going to be a little too flowery and overpowering for me. I really like lilac and lavender, but I'm not really into smelling like a wilting bouquet. I put it on and kept sniffing it. It reminded me of how a grandmother should smell -- not in a bad way, but in a really Victorian England kind of way. It started to mellow out a bit and I could really start to smell the lilac. It's sweet, but not overly so. And now, as I'm sniffing it, it's starting to smell a bit spicy. Nice! I like it. Maybe not one of my all-time favorites (like I would know at this point!), but really fabulous. All I can smell is flowers! (I think my mom would really like this one.)

When I first smelled this in the bottle, it was very sweet. The minute I put it on, though, I was overwhelmed by a really earthy scent which smelled horrible on me... (I would guess that it's the patchouli.) The smell was really conflicting with my body chemistry. I guess I should have known, since I've never really been a patchouli person, but... After about 20 minutes, the patchouli faded, and was replaced more by the rose/vanilla scents. Still, there's that little hint of an earthy smell which is just not working for me. Into the swap pile for this one.
Edit: Now I'm sneezing... This can't be good.![:P](https://test.bpal.org/uploads/emoticons/default_magtongue.gif)
