    Chaos Theory VII: Fougere

I have bottle #59 and it's glorious. A fresh, sweet tomboyish scent, alternately ferny and vanillic, perhaps some lime? Think Villain with vanilla double plus plus. Or perhaps a frank-less Venustas. Detestable Putrescence in the barber shop?

    Pumpkin III (2014)

Pumpkin artwork by Messy Nessie! Pumpkin with Atlas cedar, black fig, Laotian benzoin, bourbon vanilla, and copal. Sweet, chewy and dark, Fig Newtons in the Pumpkin Patch =) The cedar tempers the sweetness just a titch without turning into pencils on me. Fans of Gomorrah and Molly Grue should love this!

    Sweet, manly woodsmoke scent

Bonfire Night is gorgeous, sweet and smoky. Agnes Nutter is one of my favorite smoky scents. You might also look into the Halloweenie LE Bonfire single note.

    Pumpkin Queen

I have such instant lurve for this scent! In the bottle, sweet fruity pumpkin heaven, bright and fresh like scooping pumpkin guts out to make jack-o-lanterns, not too heavy on the spice or incense. Wet on the skin, it's almost a harvest-y Kunstkammer to my nose, like marmalade over pumpkin bread? Completely unusual, but utterly delicious. On the drydown the orangeyness has calmed down and the amber/cardamom start to warm up and make it a warm, sexy skin scent. I adore this lady!

    Death of the Grave Digger

I second the comparison with Talvikuu, which is my fave snowy scent ever. This seems a bit drier though, less slushy. The kind of snow that crunches on your boots but doesn't stick. This is strangely compelling...on first whiff it's fresh & clean, but then there's that warm dirt note, very uni-sexy, quiet and aloof, laying very close to my skin like a whispered secret. I have a feeling I'll be wearing it a lot this winter.

    Chaos Theory III: Strange Attractors

Chaos Theory XDIV (514) In the bottle: OMG, could it possibly be any better? It's like the bastard love child of Sugar Skull 05 and Drink Me! On: I swear to gawd this one was made just for me. It smells fruity and foody with lots of brown sugar and some very subtle floral notes at first, then it gets juicier and more toffee-ish and I'm just in swoony heaven. Seriously, I put it on, then laid on the floor rolling around in glee kicking my feet in the air. Happy happy girl. This stuff's the bomb. And it’s all mine!

    Frumious Bandersnatch

Oh purrrrr.....the deliciousness and dirtyness of the spicy plums cannot be adequately described. I want to saturate my hair in this stuff and bury my nose in my own neck. Deep, happy, big bottle lurve.

    Love in the Asylum

I guess I lucked out, this was all spicy carnations and tobacco on me, alternating sharp and sweet, then eventually morphing into a warm, dark, comforting calm like a pipe full of Captain Black. Fantabulous. For some odd, the label made me think of "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, except in black and white, of course...all gloomy and claustrophobic. Very evocative.

    Thirteen (13)

I received this bottle over my lunch break and the first half hour my co-worker kept saying "Quit trying to eat your arm!!!" I am so happy to report that the white chocolate stays with me throughout all the morphing. White chocolate/orange...white chocolate/iris...white chocolate/orange/berries...white chocolate/tea/berries... super yum. I am deeply and utterly in love.

    Fire of Love

I got this in a swap from a friend who said it smelled like eggs and black pepper on her, so a little wary...I get mostly the ginger and pepper. So I mixed it with Snake Oil and holy moly, 5 minutes later I was attacked. Literally attacked. So that works...

    The Dormouse

I got this imp as a swap from a friend, but waited for a while to try it because it seemed, well, kind of boring in the bottle. I usually lean towards the spicier scents and it was very soft and dry and lightly herbal. So I tried it last night, and it was like inhaling the vapor off a fresh cup of tea right before bed. Suddenly it was soft and dry and herbal in a very good way. Snuggling up in a fuzzy mohair sweater and taking a nap on a porch on a gray day in early spring scent. Lovely.

    Xiuhtecuhtli

Hands down, this is the most unusual and intoxicating perfume I have ever smelled on a boy. Strange and resiny, all sweet and acrid copal, with only the barest slithery hints of deep jungle beyond the cloud of smoke and roaring flames. This smells crackly. It has all the sweetness of a kiss followed by a slap (or vice versa). If I had to be offered up as a human sacrifice, I would go willingly if my executioner smelled like this. Cannot. Stop. Sniffing.
  13. Honeywhip

    Persephone

In the bottle, a very fruity rose. Wet on the skin: somehow reminds me of Red Zinger tea with a ton of sugar. But in a good way. Dry: OMG, I am so enthralled with this scent! It's everything I ever wished a rosy perfume would be. Mostly roses on me, but nice and bright, not "grandma's closet." Somehow it manages to be alternately fresh and dark, sweet and sexy, magnificent all around. I was repeatedly sniffed, with unanimous approval.
  14. Honeywhip

    Perversion

When I first sniffed the imp, it was all sweetness, not really sticky, but like a liqueur slipping down the back of my throat. Wet on the skin, the tonka and chardonnay floated immediately to the surface, but dirty. As it dried, it was sitting in a dark corner, clothed all in black leather, sipping rum and smoking a cigarette out of a long ebony holder, and the sweetness was nothing more than a lingering aftertaste. Makes me want to dress up in badness. Delicious.
