Lola started out as a bright and very sweet berry on me, reminiscent of Candy Moon. Luckily, after sitting for a while, the overpowering sweet fuit faded into something with a light floral and plenty of herbs. Reminds me almost of a light Host of the Air, but more floral and slightly sweet.

Looking for any Harry Potter scent recommendations

I wore Yvaine for opening night. Something magical about a dark sky heavy with twinkling stars. -
Neat! This is a black musk, warm like coyote to me. Stays close to the skin, very unassumingly sexy. But alas! It goes to powder on me after an hour or two.

I might try Velvet Nudie. While it doesn't have hazelnut or honey, it's sort of tangy, sweet second skin. I loved it the first time I wore it, my then it went meh on me - but then again, I like my strong, dark scents.

I'm such a tobacco lover. Bad Luck Woman Blues is so delightful - almost a single note tobacco on me at first. No 93 Engine starts out lemony but fades to a fantastic tobacconist scent. Perversion is a nice smokey scent, but it has a bit of leather. Issac, the living skeleton, Horreur Sympathique, Ogun, Famine, Santo Domingo...there are so many!

At first it is all leather and bright green herbs, but the herbs fade away to leave a lovely, light, fruity leather. Most of the time leather blends (which I love) are warm and smokey and manly, but this is a very feminine leather. Light and very pretty, it stays close to the skin. I think a bottle is in my future.

Ripe purple plums, wildflowers, and cream. This is interesting. For me there is almost no plum at all; it's all soft cream and various florals. Now as someone who generally does not like florals at all, I'm surprisingly pleased with this one. It is soft and pretty, and has very minimal throw. It'd be a very nice second skin scent. Debating a bottle, but I'll probably stick to the imp for now.

Wow! In the bottle it's lots of musk and fruit. On, it's darkly musky for a while, and it fades to a LOVELY red tea and fruit tea topped with faint musk - I wouldn't be able to call it mango unless I knew. I bought this for the tea, so yay! And double yay for the fact that I'm pretty terribly allergic to mangos, but not so much as a red blotch! At least I can smell it if I can't eat it.

Rum! Oh yum, this is the same rum from Mr. Nancy and Butter Rum Cookie. But instead of the sugary sweetness of BRC, there is lovely spice and a darker bakery type scent. I don't get much fruit. It's wonderful, warm, slightly sexy, spicy booze. It's like a warm sweater on a cold day - but one of those ones with a big keyhole showing cleavage. A total winner. ETA: After a while, it faded to a lightly spiced, slightly musky, totally yummy vanilla. Nom nom nom. -
This is a sharp, cool scent with a rather different spin to leather than I'm used to. It's probably a bite of ozone that gives it that shininess, accompanied by a faint citrus, pepper and lots of smoke. A good guy's scent, but I'm not sure how I feel about it on me just yet. I always expect my leather and smoke blends to be warm and cozy, but this one is cold and fierce.

The only ones that have gotten unsolicited (i.e. I didn't assault them yelling "sniff me!") compliments were the Antikythera Mechanism, Rosalind, and Pontarlier. Pontarlier prompted a discussion between my aunt and uncle about how strange it was that the lavender was blooming so early in the spring when in fact it was eventually determined to be me.

For some reason I thought of The Black Tower. It's neither incensey nor bloody, but it always sort of reminded me of an old battlefield, strewn with the bodies of the fallen with the remaining king walking amongst them. It has red wine, leather, burnt grasses, ivy, ozone...it just smells very old and somber and steeped in history to me. It might be an option. -
I'm going to throw Glasgow into the mix - I'm not one for florals, but I love the heather in this one.
