    Shadow Witch Orchid

Very flowery. Not nauseatingly flowery sweet (thank goodness!), but very old-lady-perfume flowery. Not me at all. Trade Bag.

    Tanin'iver

Frimp. In the bottle, this is a dusty fruit, and smells intriguing. On skin it soured hideously and then IMMEDIATELY turned to cinnamon. Within a very short time, it became Red Hots, and then became a deeper more evolved scent, like Red Hots for adults. A Play-Do paste scent showed up, and it became a papery, pasty cinnamon-y fruit. Disappointing, considering the ingredients but at least I wasn't the only person to say CINNAMON! Trade Bag.

What smells like Irish Spring Soap?

To me and my husband (long-suffering sniffer that I have forced him to be), "Cthulhu" smells like Irish Spring.

    Eclipse

This started out very almondy, both in the bottle and wet. OOoooooh, another Queen of Sheba, perhaps?? Within about 20 minutes, it became a bit flowery. After an hour, it smelled dusty and wet, like damp orchid roots. Hours later, my left wrist has no scent left, and the right wrist has a mildly floral dust on it. Trade Bag, someone will give it a good home.

    Red Lantern

In the bottle, this is coconutty and sweet. On skin, it's instantly brown sugar-sweet, and that changes within seconds back to coconut. Argh, I don't LIKE coconut! Fortunately, the coconut is more of a coconut-infused drink scent than of chemical artifical flavoring, and is evolving - spices lurk about the fringe, and about an hour after application the tobacco is pushing through the beaded curtain. Even my husband said, as I walked by, "That's, um, very coconutty..." Still very strong eau de coconut after an all-day wear. I really wanted to be able to wear this at will.

    Hanami

I very much appreciate that Beth used the japanese names for these ingredients In the bottle, this was a delicate floral. On my skin, it turned into a perfume that reminds me of my grandmother, who died a year and a week ago. I shall wear this and think of my grandmother and thank Beth for it.

    Queen of Sheba

I LOVE this scent - honeyed marzipan? Where do I sign up! I can't stop sniffing myself when I wear this.

    Omen

This ended up being painfully sweet on me, which was a surprise because normally patchouli and myrrh work well on my skin.

    Vixen

This is a favorite - sexy chocolatey oranges!

    Malediction

Sometimes this takes hours to become wearable, and sometimes it's "Oh, DIRTY AND DELICIOUS!" so it's obviously depending entirely upon my body chemistry at the time.

    Tisiphone

This is very mild and feminine without being overly sweet.

    Haunted

This reminds me a lot of Calvin Klein's Obsession. So rare to find a really choice amber that works on my skin. MMMmmmmm

    La Belle Dame Sans Merci

This ends up making me smell like guest soap

    ack - Tutti-frutti!

    Gomorrah

This makes me smell "like one of those potpourri candle things". Ah, well.

    Anne Bonny

Anne Bonny was the first imp I ordered EVER, and the first 5ml I ordered. It's my husband's favorite BPAL scent (and he's been very patient with the endless enforced "sniff me!"). Anne Bonny is dirty and fierce and feminine and strong and I love her This scent is made entirely of WIN!

    Tanuki

This is a particularly mischevious scent. Wet, it's floral, then disappears almost entirely. It swoops back, and then hides again, smelling of mild woods, or soft fruits, or winking flowers. It seems to have settled into a gently exotic floral scent. Giant testicles! Tummy drums! What's not to like? Sadly, after many hours of entertainment, it turns soapy.

    The Ghastly Garden

This is mildly disappointing, as in the bottle it's alluring and wicked. On skin, it smells like lemony furniture polish without any of the vile chemicals. It's a quick fade, and I ended up adding more before I headed out this morning. It starts very perky and yellow, rather than ghastly and green I can't identify the ingredients, but there is a floral in there a few layers back. Ah well. Considering how divine Lurid Library and Forbidding Foyer are on me, I can't complain about this

    Her Voice

This started... acceptably, with roses and what I'm thinking was the beeswax. Almost instantly, it turned to watercress, and by the time I scrubbed it off (before I left for the office) was limp watercress in old moldering rosewater. Ugh.

    Mandrake

Mandrake smells quite a bit like dusty sandalwood or cedar. Frankly, it smells rather like mice, without the Doritos. *laughs*

    Sea of Tranquility

This started dark, yet mild, turned generic, and now is soft and dusty - that's the sandalwood, I think.

    April Fool

With no ingredients that I usually choose, I bought this only because it smelled nice in the bottle. Very chirpy and fresh. Leaning back, this envelopes in a bright perfume while not being overly potent on the wrist. This ended up smelling really fantastic on me - I LOVE it!

    The Forbidding Foyer

Oh my god I cannot even tell you how delicious this is - Cognac and chocolately darkness. NOMMM NOMMMM NOMMMMM

    The Clod and the Pebble

Rose otto, clove, patchouli, Indian sandalwood, nutmeg, and cedar. Wet, the cedar and sandalwood grumpily combine to smell like fresh tobacco leaves, with the rose lurking on the edges. Fascinating how this evolves - each wrist smells differently. Left smells of sandalwood and cedar, with a dash of nutmeg. Right wrist smells of cloves and dried roses.
