Citrus Leaf with hints of mint at first whiff. I get traces of ozone and aquatic. This too almost reminded me of Embalming Fluid....This is right up my scent alley....LOVE Green citrus aquatic-y scents. LOVE! This dries down fresh and wonderful and lasts a good while too!

    P013

THIS is lemon-y pound cake. It has that same think rich dense scent as a good old fashoined lemon pound cake your granny used to make. If I liked foodie scents this would be one for me. But the scent of sugar gets me now.

    Capela Dos Ossos v5

At first whiff this is old, a bit dusty and somewhat spicy. NOt hot spicy, not cinnamon spicy...but like a cardamom or clove. I get the incence traces as it dries down. Once this has dried down the area where I applied it felt a bit burn-y and I wanted to scratch it. Too bad the scent does not stay around too long.

This one came to me at first sniff as a green but moldy andmusty dirt. Almost get a vetiver out of this. It stayed musty old dirt the entire time for me.

    Spawn of the She-Devil v1

I've got a ton of prototype decants to sniff thru and review before they travel on. This one came to me as a sweet...soft sweet. Not a sugar or foodie sweet. But soft musky sweet. It was nice but I can tell it's just not one for me.

    Obatala

Decant: I get the milk and coconut and shea butter. Smells like original Coppertone Wet on Me: still getting the Coppertone beachy smell Drying Down: this brings back memories of early days at the beach and at the Seaquarium back in FL. Total beach scent on me Dry: sweet, nice, pleasant, bringer of memories….but perhaps someone will love this more.

    The Caterpillar

Imp: heavy jasmine, and neroli wrapped in a blanket of incense Wet on Me: something sour coming into play with the jasmine/neroli/incense combo. Drying Down: really overpowering dark elderly floral. Definitely not me Dry: elderly heavy floral over vetiver….um no thanks.

    Velvet Panther

Decant: mandarin, vanilla and vetiver Wet on Me: more vanilla and mardarin now..like a creamsicle Drying Down: Creamsicle is gone, musk now coming out in its place. Slight touches of vanilla can be detected. Dry: sweet and spice and faint. So hard to detect. You really have to sniff and sniff at it. It made like a panther alrighty....instead of blending into the jungle it blended into my skin!

    Psithyristês

Decant: VERY Floral. Light floral..but VERY Wet on Me: light floral as in light colored flowers. Something sweet…but something sour like when I amp rose. Drying Down: this reminds me of something I once smelled at my Grandmother’s home when I was a very small girl. Very floral and powdery Dry: This is floral but not my kind of floral. I think the way the rose is amping is what keeps this from being a total love

    Luperci

Decant: thick and dark. The patchouli tempered by the balsam Wet On Me: My skin is amping the patchouli and balsam blend but in a good way Drying Down: Juniper is coming out to play with the Patchouli and balsam. A dark sharp scent but total nose to wrist thing going on. Dry: Total masculine vibe off this. Woodsman masculine vibe. All earthy and woody and sharp and dark but not scary. Comforting Like wearing your fella’s favorite flannel shirt in the winter!

    All about plum!

Chiming in with the plum love in Makhanitis. AS I tell everyone who compliments me on it it's a Gypsy Headshop. The plum must have some serious attractionz powers! Everytime I put it on my nose becomes attracted to and attached to my wrist...and then people become attracted and drawn to me! This is the best plum I've tried yet.

    Aglaea

Imp: peach wine that smells divine Wet on Me: Peach wine with the musk and a faint trace of myrtle Drying Down: this just gets better and better. Sweet but not sugar sweet. Oya

Imp: sharp, astringent, like burnt wind Wet on Me: woody, sharp pine resin/pitch WOWonderful Drying Down: cedar for sure, but something else I can’t quite put my nose on. Still get the trace of dry burnt winds. Dry: really loving this. Even without a description. Even tho I get a cedar note in this, it still smells of the air to me. not getting the cherry or almond or fruit or floral in this at all.

    Languor

Imp: heavy narcissus and lilly and tuberose Wet on Me: WOAH! Heavy Lilly. Definitely languid lilly. Just lying about all up under my nose when I sniff it. Drying Down: still heavy lilly, not getting any of the other scents in this. Dry: This is one languorious set of lilies. Lilly and I don’t always do well. This to be re-homed

    Jezebel

Imp: sweet of honey. Sandalwood, and the orange blossom Wet on Me: more of the same but mostly honey over all Drying Down: mostly sweet rose baby powder. The rose showed up on me but the honey must have mixed with it to give it that baby powder scent on me. Dry: this is old fashioned dusting powder. That is what the honey and rose blended into. Somehow I think my body chemistry is just not enough for Jezebel to make magic on me.

    Envy

Imp: Green is right. Then Mint…and trace lavender Wet on me: Right now, mint and lavender mostly then the green plays skip to my lou in the background Drying Down: now the green has taken over the mint, lavender went into hiding and I’m not sure where lime is. Hide N Sniff maybe? Dry: now mostly green. The mint grabbed hands with the lavender, found the hiding lime and off into the sunset they went.

Imp: lavender and rosewood Wet on Me: rosewood, black cheery and the whisper of lavender now. Drying Down: wow! Musk and rosewood and lavender all ensure that the rose does not amp out weird on me. This is fabulous! Dry: dark, husky, whispers is what I get now. No one scent stands out any more and the rose is not taking over on me. This really might be my King of Hearts!
