    Countess Dolingen of Gratz

Decant: Ozone and cypress Wet on Me: Cyrpress and Ozone Love. Drying Down: More and more the Cypress comes to the front and balances the ozone. Dry: this gets faint and pretty fairly quickly. That said, tree/evergreen scents and ozone are some of my favorite notes and they play so nicely in this blend.

Drying Down: Start to get that leather note in there now. Man and Leather go together and under my nose it just glows! Dry: All men's cologne and leather. This scent just rings my bell. I want to slather this all over my man and just jump his bones!

    Pontarlier

Imp: lavender and lilac...and the green of the ferns Wet on Me: ROSE! The roes and lilac have already begun their domination only moments after application Drying Down: The ferns are trying to put up a valient fight against the mighty amping rose and lilac. Dry: Rose and Lilac won. The other notes never had a chance. If I could have something like this without the rose and lilac I bet it would be lovely. I'll re-home.

    Melpomene

Imp: a caciphony of scents. Not able to pick one out before they dance away under my nose. Wet on Me: geranium. One of them stopped long enough and it was geranium. If I inhale deeply I get traces of the mint trying to catch space under my nose Drying Down: wow..this fades out fast. I get chost trails of mint and geranium and now passion flower...but your nose has to WORK to detect those. Dry: no throw. Just faint very quickly. No Cyrpess, no lavender, no orange blossom. Brisingamen

imp: Myrtle and Carnation on a nice bed of amber softness Wet On Me: More Amber than the flowers the moment it touches my skin. Drying Down: This went to amber and stayed there. Imp: old dusty and musty sweet with the tobacco Wet on me: I get the vanilla and cognac, but the sweetness is cut by the tobacco. Drying Down: This is not overpowering. It's still all of the above, blended wonderfully. Dry: This is a grande old dame who brought out her finest from years gone by, a tad dusty, but no less beautiful, seductive and charming all at once.
