i received this decant as a frimp and MAN AM I PLEASED. its like smelling those delicious cookies at the mall in torturous agony because you cant eat them! applied i smell yummy with notes of almond and sugar wafting up my nose. i dont smell much rum on my skin but i can attest to the fact that i smell quite literally, like a bakery. A YUMMY YUMMY bakery. this scent reminds me that i can be edible without having jailbait on 24/7. overall: going to scour the earth for a bottle

as a fan of carnations im always in love with a new carnation scent that comes my way, this is by far, no different. in the bottle: it smells of amber but the rose and carnation mix to an indescribable mix that, if not told, i'd probably wouldnt have been able to pick them apart. they're blended equally on my skin: heaven, this easily rivals all of my favorites by far. its the perfect mix of spice but on the same token soft and not loud. the amber is far more pronounced. and DONT be deterred by the mention of rose, I WAS, and not once did i detect something that smelled like grandma's sock drawer. overal: thank god i have a bottle! this is going on all over.

i received this as frimpage and WOW, it smells beautiiiiiiiiiful. it smells like vanilla bean right in the imp but applied its as though the rest of the notes are let out; sandalwood and especially the amber. i have to say though, even as its drying its mostly amber but it still has this vanilla bean ice cream thing going on with it, reminds me of blue bell. (southern thing) added to the wishlist and definately going to buy a bottle.

this one is right up there with my giant vulva of great honey scents. in the bottle, honey blackberry and vanilla goodness. applied: it just gets warmer and warmer as it dries on my skin. i smell the vanilla and the blackberry. this is a seriously lovely scent and im so glad i swapped my milk moon 07 for it. overall: thank goodness i have a bottle of this stuff coming.

geez --- ABSINTHE. LOVE YOU. in the bottle, i smell the lilac, sugar, and absinthe. ITs seriously an awesomely good scent. applied: absinthe and definitely smelling the scorched sugar. the sugar reminds me of when i brown it for syrups. LOVE THIS STUFF. i kept sniffing my arm all day and it was ... wet - HELL TO WASH OFF. ha. this stuff does not come off the way you'd expect. it just got stronger on me. more absinthe...loads of lilac... but its a bit more subdued. overall: LOVE IT...LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT...its in my top of all the scents ive gotten and will be a new one i pursue.

i requested this decant and i was NOT DISAPPOINTED.. its the perfect blend of fruits and mahogany. applied: POMEGRANITE and PLUM... the mahogany is pretty faint. as it ages, loads of mahogany in this wonderful whiff of all three...it just becomes more and more plum like as i wear it, (1 hr into it) overall: this is going on the wishlist. i love this scent. i wish it smelled out of the bottle the way it does after a few hours on my skin but, its well worth the wait.

i thought the amber would make up for the rest of the smells in the blend but, no. initially in the bottle it smelled like mostly lavender. i have a honey n lavender soap and this reminds me of it. good/bad. sort of. applied: the amber really comes out but ive never been a fan of sandalwood and i can clearly smell it. ITS LIKE HELLO AND SMILING AND ASKING ME FOR A SPOT OF TEA..AH. i can also pick up the narcissus. another one not for me. they never work on my skin...they end up smelling like dirty draws. overall: i'll keep my empty and my decant and maybe buy more along the way but am i gonna buy a full bottle from the lab? no.

its very dark in the vial. resins are overpowering and some part of me just got a headache with it. it just didnt work out for me. maybe its the orchid (never been a big fan). either way, this is good as an imp for me.

geez, can it smell more peachy?! initial whiff: peaches and the scent of GUMMY BEARS. like a bag full OF THEM. and that isnt bad. my girls (12 and 9 yrs old love it) applied: peaches, peaches, peaches... originally i purchased this because im a sucker for all things carnation but i really didnt smell the hint of it. definately going to keep this one on the wishlist, i love it.

this is so sweet and delicious. its like ooey gooey sugar draped over the florals. im usually not a lotus person either but this really converted me on the initial whiff. applied: i smell much of both but the lotus becomes more pronounced. overall: ADDING IT TO THE WISHLIST!

at first it reminded me of pine sol but i thought, give it a chance, Fern. SO I DID. it smells deep and musky, applied with a rich pine. its a delicious complex scent because like the poster above i smelled the vanilla but didnt detect honey. this is a beautiful smell, on and off. it lasts forever. ive had it on since 445pm cst and its still on going strong and gaining a fuller body. i feel though at times, this smells like a masculine scent. i want to slather it all over my man and i think i'll do just that. bottle? of course. this is going on the wishlist.

CAN YOU SAY NEW FAVORITE? too bad it'll be gone soon! in the imp: lots of chrysanthemums and amber. applied: i smell so much marigold in this though but its chrysanthemums with amber just mix in so well. its a beautiful smell. im addicted. LIKE SERIOUSLY addicted. overall: BUYING IT. the end.

can you say GLORIOUS? if you have been dying to try a beautiful honey scent THIS IS IT. i swear i will pillage and plunder to get a 5ml. har har. applied: nothing short of beautiful honey with sugar and a slight musk. GEEZ, this is beautiful. ok, i'll shut up...you know how i feel.

in the vial: like brach's orange slices oh my skin: brach's orange slices & honey wet: still sweet and pungent with the orange really dominating overall: i'll put this on every now and then. sticking with the imp on it or maybe not...dunno, still very torn.

im with the poster above, i received an aged imp where the liquid was extremely dark and initially intimidating to try. deep and musky its got just a hint of spice in the bottle. smells like A LOT OF narcissus applied narcissus and sharp vanilla.

smells like candy corn and butter to me in the imp. applied about the same but the candy corn comes out a little more. its definately a mix of food but it works well. smells like a theatre on a friday night if it could be bottled up. WITHOUT PICKLES, tyvm. overal: like it but i'll stick to the imp

wow i love this stuff, it's citrusy but still very light and clean and just...INNOCENT smelling? if thats even possible. i love it. applied it sort of reminds me of cool water. wet, its about the same. very citrusy and clean. overall: i'll probalby get a bottle and this one is going on the wishlist.

in the bottle sweet, the cherries really come out at you. applied - i dont know, something comes off like caugh syrup. overall: wanted to love this scent but it reminds me too much of benadryl's cherry formula for allergies. i'll keep my bottle and let it age, maybe to see if the scent deepens. I REFUSE TO GIVE UP ON THIS SCENT.

i love this stuff, in the vial its deep and smells like leather with tobacco and enough musks so that its not overpowered the first two. there seems to be some candy there. applied, my musks rise to the occasion and its just a beautiful scent. i love it. after about 30 minutes on my hand this scent has evolved into a dark musk thats been aged but with a tinge of spice. I LOVE IT overall, im putting it on my wishlist.

in the vial it comes off floral and spicey with a deep darkish scent to it. applied, reminds me of my grandmothers maja - which isnt a bad thing, its comforting. overall i like this scent, it has a musk to it but balanced equally with a powdery floral. i probably will keep the imp but it was a good scent to try.

MABYE im an alian but this smells like a whole lotta amber. strawberries are subtle and so is the vanilla. applied, I SMELL like strawberries but not wholely....like i said theres a strong amount of amber in this one and the vanilla is thrown in there like a little melder between the two. wet - still fantastically amberlicious. YES - I AM GOING TO FIND A BOTTLE AND HOARD IT IN MY SCENT BOX...and? its fantastic. (must love sweet smells)

smells a lot like orange bloossom to me out of the imp, more so than the apricot - that is barely detectable. wet, the musk is more pronounced and the orange blossom takes a backseat - the apricot is detectable but not overpowering, its sweet. i'll likely stick to the imp on this one but it smells wonderful and i'll put some on occ.

this one smelled very floral'y and the scent was richer when i wet it, a little more subdued but beautifully made. though, i have to say the plum, berry, and rose are pefectly blended the rose sneeks up on you when its been on your skin for a while. i smelled myself a few minutes after putting it on and it just seemed to develop into a very different scent. im imagining, this has a lot to do with your own physiology but... definately one of those scents thats good anytime of year. my opinion, i like it - i have a few more bottles i need to get but this is on the list.

i received a bottle of smut '06 from ladyjc and let me tell you.... its like drinking/sitting in a bar with candy. LOVE IT. i'll use it sparingly because i dont want to get rid of my bottle - must find the equivalent in the gc catalog but geez - this is definately a very nice sensuous sweet musk that applied comes off sweet and musky and wet more musk than anything. get it. you cant go wrong.
