i kinda think it is civet, as i got a faint hint of cat pee, not every whiff but every once in a while there is cat pee smell mixed in w/ the cinnamon, and florals, i also get the "dirt" type note similar to zombi, actually if it weren't for the occassional whiff of cat pee this would be great.

i am a violet whore, so i was excited to try this one
this stays pretty true thru all the stages for me, it is a soft sweet violet, edged in green, this is very very soft and sweet a gorgeous spring scent i totally am not dissapointed and will be buying a bigger bottle
-
i have never had an extreme physical, emotional reaction to a scent until now, i can't describe the notes, it went very odd on me and made me feel extremely nauseous, and then i went into a panic attack, i scrubbed and scrubbed but couldn't get it to wash off, this was totally weird, i would like to say i will try it again but i don't think i am up for it

i agree w/ blackrayne i thought wow an actual sloth just *has* to smell like this
wet the vetiver was slappin me around a bit
as it dries the vetiver mellows and a beautiful myrhh, musky scent w/ a touch of vetiver remains.
a dark, heavy scent that is indeed slothful
-
wet and in the vial this is a very balance mix of drb and lotus
as it dries it gets a spicey hint of something, and isn't quiet as sweet, i think i get a w
slight hint of musk, and something almost peppery
this one lasts a loooong time i pu it on yesterday evening and this am i can still faintly smell it
-
i didn't get woody, (hehe that sunds so bad) but it was a fruity sweet scent i am thinking possibly mango? pinapple? something tropical w/ a metallic back note but over all a very fruity blend, way sweeter then i imagined after the reviews.

in Celestials
CLEAN yes especially after trying saturn.
in the vial, fresh off the tree limes.
wet it is limes and oranges.
as it dries it becomes a sweet citrussy salad w/ a bouqet of spring flowers sitting beside it.
this is a fresh, clean, sweet blend very nice

Saturn
in Celestials
as soon as i opened the vial civet hit me in the eyes, strong civet, and a kick of vetiver, there is a smokey edge to it but those are the prominent notes on me.

hmmm i could smell the violets before i even opened the imp i kept sniffing around looking for something i would expect violets to be in
in the vial: man that is like a single not violet
wet there is a metalic twang i usually only get from jasmine scents so i am guessing violet and possibly a touch of jasmine, altho the violet is the prominent note on me
as it dries the metal like note goes away and it is a strong violet w/ a tiny smidge of i think cloves? or carnation.
i love violets...i know yall have heard it before but man i love em

some sweet someone just sent me an imp of this thinking i might like it....
in the vial: red musk? huh? not what i was expecting at all
wet: patchouli, cinnamon, goodness
dries: into a mellow, beautiful earthy scent w/ a kick. it has something similar to the lion but w/ a major spicey knee to the groin thrown in. this is beautiful! and yes i will be ordering a big bottle
thanks kmasden for the enabling.

ok call me a freak but i get lime, when i open the bottle it is so lime, but not artificial lime like candy but a real fresh lime, and clove
ok as it dries i am getting a pretty balanced blend of lime and clove w/ something that actually smells like soda? maybe dr pepper? very odd...i do not get florals, or bakery i get dr pepper w/ a lime twist and a clove garnish...definitely a different smell

this is so weird, i sniffed, then scrolled reviews and thought no i must gave grabbed teh wrong bottle
but alas it is chaste moon i am wearing
in the bottle it is creamy vanilla ice cream. i didn't even get a hint of butterscotch *shrugs*
wet: this smells very much like vanilla ice cream
as it dries i almost get a berry scentmixed in w/ the ligh floral creaminess, i don't get the snow white association-snow white went plasticy and so did spooky but this stays nice and smooth, creamy but not too sweet. i am loving chaste moon.

after discovering sybaris, i went hnting for violets, so of course had to add nocturne to my wishlist, but alas no one had oen to swap, but beth gifted me w/ this gorgeous imp in my last order *yeep*
in the vial, yeah baby that's what i'm talkin about! violets!
wet: oh hell yeah violets, this differs from sybaris cause it isn't as sweet, but man that violet is AWESOME!
dry: sigh, this is almost as gorgeous as sex! and may actually take over sybaris' spot, it is more grownup, and a bit darker then sybaris. i am drooling in the beauty!

this reminds me of the lion, and strength if they would sit down together and have lunch. it is grassy, and spicy, warm, gorgeous. there is cinnamon, and possibly a hint of clove, a touch of ginger, all mingling w/ that dried grassy smell i am starting to adore. this is complex, and completely me. i adore it i am seeing that someone compared it to 3 witches and in someways i can see why but the "dried grass" note makes it more like lion to me, man i can't stop sniffin my arm....i am loving this did i say that?

misty flowers YES! this is very very floral, a hint of green. this is a airy misty, floral, i want to say tulip or some such spring flower, it smells very springtime to me. this one is definitely a floral lovers dream.

Moscow
in Wanderlust
in the vial: hmmm tangarine? w/ a hint of rose
wet: hello jasmine arrrgggh i wanted rose
dry:lily comes out, and the tangarine is pretty strong so i am mostly getting a lily tanagrine blend, the rose is apparent occassionally, and amber seems to be hiding there, i am not a big lily or jasmine fan, w/o them this would be gorgeous.
but alas off to swaps

this is my favorite of the new scents so far.
in the vial: amber and myrtle
wet: amber amber and amber...yummy
as it dries, amber is still the frontrunner, but keep getting slight catches of carnation, teh myrtle creates a grounding affect i am really liking and teh apple blossom keeps popping in and out, sometimes i smell it prominently sometimes it isn't there at all
i want a big bottle
-
in the vial and wet: seems like an almond single note
as it dries the almond, as others have stated, evaporates, leaving behind a sharp jasmine, the musk is fighting w/ the jasmine for top spot (reminds me of sonny and cher both trying to be in the spot light, you think it is one and bam the other jumps in), all this w/ a lovely background base of sandalwood to referee the mele
after a bit the jasmien takes a back seat and it is a lovely grounded scent i like much more then in teh jasmine stage., it is a spicy, sandalwood, musk, and a hint of something resinous.
i like it after it dires and the jasmine fades away
-
in the vial: cocoa? yes definitely a chocolaty cocoa note, not a sweet cocoa though.
wet: very very strong bitter cocoa (bitter in a nice way like unsweetened chocolate)
there is a slight hint of something floral in the background but the top note is definitely cocoa,
as it dries it still is mostly cocoa, w/ a hint of rose, a hint of something dry and herbal or grassy, i d not smell vetiver and i usually magnify vetiver, there is a hint of a floral i can't pinpoint but it is nice and mellow
this is rich, deep, slightly floral although not a "classic" floral nice, it kind of reminds me of a cousin to DDL but it is deeper and less floral, and frankly i am unsure why it reminds me of DDL

I love beth's rose blends.
this is a summery rose, grounded by frankincense, the frankincense adds and earthy quality i love, i also get a hint of a dried grass type smell, this does smell almost like a sacred blend.
all in all very very beautiful
-
this is almost all jasmine on me, in the vial i could detect helitrope but on it and rose must have ran off for a trist cause this is all jamine, strong, harsh, give me a headache jasmine....i just can't get along well w/ jasmine *sigh*

yes, a breeze in the woods, not fall woods, but freshly green, spring woods,
it did go a bit shapooesque but still smelled woodsy, like shampoo spilled in the woods.
Bat's Blood
in Discontinued Scents

wet: dragon's blood, almost a single note of it
as it dries, it gets a hint of pepper, and a dried herbal type feel, along w/ what i think is a violet and lilac combo i definitely get violet, and another floral, the dried herbal note is actually i *think* the strongest, but the dbr, and floral blend are very well mixed and such a beautiful blend, i know the ritual use, which was one reason i wanted it, but as a perfume it is indeed glorious.
