Jackdaw

First time I sniffed it in the imp, I nearly dropped it; I can't get anything from it but hospitals, for some reason- alcoholic, hygenic, and painfully sanitary. My sister says it's less all that and more just chemical-y, though- I guess I'm just weird. When it's wet the hospital's faded; it's still really harsh, though, and turned chemical-y. At the end of the day it's faded into something nice; all that's left is the dirt and maybe something a little floral. If it hadn't have taken twelve hours to get to the dirt, I'd like Destroying Angel, but as it is I'm going to pawn this off on someone.

In the bottle it's a sharp, clear note with a bit of sharpness- my mum says that it's grapefruit, but I've never smelled one so I can't compare. I like it, anyway. It looks like the field outside my dad's house would, when lightning strikes right in the middle and my sisters and I are sitting on the porch. It's also the tension right between the lightning and the crack of thunder. Wet it's got the same visual of the lightning in the field, but the tension's already fading away. A few hours later I get a good whiff of the lightning when I move my hands, but (oddly enough) the tension and a bit of the rain itself hang around. I wear this one a couple times a week; it goes with my shampoo smell, actually. I'll have to get a 5 mL eventually. =)

I was hoping this would be a good scent on me- I rather like mosses. However, this turned out to be all rose and nothing else... Straight out of the bottle it's just what I expected it to be- haunting and catching, with a bit of something crawling out of a grave. Body chemistry for the fail. ._.

Lear's my favorite imp so far- not only do I like it, but I get compliments on it. I wear it nearly every day, so I guess it's a signature for me? In the bottle it's really strong and cedar-y, just as I hoped it would be. Can't really smell anything else, though. After putting it on it's still very cedar, but it's quiet enough that it's more like I've been out in the woods than like I've got anything on. At the end of the day it hasn't changed much, if at all. It's also to the same quiet strongness that it was before.
