In the bottle : wet and sweet, bursting cherries. Yum! on the skin : I can still smell cherry distinctly and its a little warm too. Smells a little like cinnamon. But faint and not too strong. My skin usually begins to itch with cinnamon, but it hasn't happened. a bit later : hmm, its still very cherry. Still very sweet and gorgeous. It's a little too sweet for me, but it remains pretty throughout the extent of the day. It has great lasting power, I didn't need to reapply at all.

In the bottle, it's lemony and fresh and sweet. Very refreshing, it reminds me of my favorite sheets which always seem to come out smelling like they were air dried on the clothes line. On my skin, the smell is very much the same. Not overpowering, just kind of lingering and fresh. There is something underneath it all that is a little darker, but it isn't very prominent at all. Overall, it's a beautiful blend.

In the bottle it was a little sharp and very woodsy. My mom said it reminded her of my grandpa's pipe tobacco. After wearing it for a little bit, I can really smell the green in this. It's sharp and fresh and a little overpowering. It smells like "outside." I'm not sure about this one. It reminds me of a sharper Dublin. Green through and through. I'm wearing a bit of Chaste Moon at the moment, so another go is in order to see if this is a keeper or not.

This came in a very special package and I was above thrilled because I've been dying to try this one. In the bottle it was a little sharp. Something bitter came out and it had me worried. On my skin (wet and dry) it smelled like sick, sugary goodness. It reminded me of those bubblegums that are cheap and come in the yellow and blue packages? They have so much sugar that you have to chew through first before to soften the gum. I love this blend. It's sweeter than I usually go for, but I thought it was marvelous. I hate that I have to ration it!

Dublin has that clean, fresh, misty, green smell. I love love love Dublin and its the closest thing to fresh rain that I have tried.

Kyoto smells exactly how I thought it would smell. Light and cherry and floral. I thought I'd like it, being a floral person, but it was a little too cherry for me. On my skin, after the dry down it left a slightly cough syrupy with some spice behind it. Overall, a nice blend, but it isn't one that I can keep around.

In the bottle Wolf Moon is musky and sharp. Not animal-musky, but just dark and murky. First sniff and I'm not sure if I'm going to like it. However, ever the experimenter, I sampled some on my wrists. Nothing like I thought it would be. This is more floral, more 'naturey' than the bottle made me believe. It's really heavy and really strong. I'm not a slatherer by any means, and the scent carries through the room. As many mentioned, this reminds me of Cold Moon, but denser and heavier. It has an amazing staying power, but I think it might be too heavy on me to be a keeper.

In the bottle it smelled very clean and fresh but very masculine as well. On the skin : the 'men's colonge' smell dies down so I'm not smelling too boyish with this blend. The lemon came out for a bit, but then disappeared, bringing back the colonge smell. The description named a lot of notes that I enjoy, but they must of not liked each other and/or me with Chiropetra. Oh well.

I find it hard to describe Devil. I know that this isn't a keeper, for one. The overall smell though... it makes me think of dark, dark things that haven't seen the light in a very, very long time. It's musky, and wet and rotten. Not that it smells like rotten things, it just has this old, murky, death smell to it. I can appreciate the creation and the power of this blend, but wearing it makes me feel horrible. This is the only blend I've sampled, this far, that has given me such a strong emotional reaction.

Is there cinnamon in this? I'm allergic to cinnamon, and I'm not getting any reactions, thus far. I can vaguely smell what might be a cinnamon note, but its isn't distinct enough for me to pin point. This reminds me of Gluttony. Not so much a warm, foody smell as Gluttony, but they have to share something in their makeup. The smell, over all, is pleasant and comforting. It might be a little too strong and spicey for me. I'm glad I got to try this one out - thanks shelldoo!

Jack seems warm to me. I love Jack.

In the bottle it is very pretty and very strong on the florals. Its a little biting when first applied, but settles down quickly. Dry down turns powdery (always! why!?) and almost smells like cotton candy on me. I'd love it if it didn't have that powdery undercurrent when dry.
-
It's definetly a spicey scent. It sounds interesting, and I can envision all those places (or what *I* think they look like!) when wearing the scent. Unfortunetly, I didn't get to the dry down/wet/2 hours later phase of the blend. I think this one has cinnamon, and I'm allergic. I got some little red welts on my wrists from the blend. If it isn't cinnamon, then its something else I need to stay away from! Oh well, in theory it was divine, in practice... well not so much.

In the bottle it is fresh and sweet, and I want to label it a "floral aquatic" because its not too much of either one. On the skin, its very powerful and a little goes a long way. The overall smell doesn't change, and I find it very pleasant. Overall, I love this blend. I'm definetly adding it to my 5ml wishlist. Very soothing, very calming.

Like other reviewers, in the bottle Chaste Moon smells like butterscotch. It's thick and sweet and rich. It reminds me of Gluttony for its rich smell, but none of the chocolate & toffee. It reminds me of those Werthers candies! Wet : Yum. Definetly something foody still. The butterscotch melts down into something less heavy yet equally pleasant. It's sweet now, and it smells divine. Dry: Still pretty and it has decent staying power. Final thoughts : I LOVE it. I should of bought two.

In the bottle it smells divine. And when I really get my nose in there I can smell the tobacco leaves. I love that smell. Since Santo Domingo took it upon itself to ooze out of the top of my imp (I really need to invest in a holding case) I'm assaulted by all the wonderful notes, and I really really like it. On my skin the notes hold but ultimatly turn to a powdery smell. Ugh, man. I might have to try this one again a little heavier on my skin. My room smells great though!

In the bottle Nocnitsa did not smell like something I would like. It reminded me of Urd and Nephilim (also orange/brown colors, oddly enough) both scents which I quickly turned away. I pretty much knew that this blend wouldn't work with me, but I tried it on my skin anyway. It remained very earthy on me, and smells just like the image the description envokes - wet, foresty earth. Still, I wasn't happy with the scent. Finally, I ended up taking a shower (not because of the scent ) and Nocnitsa would not go away. In the short time I had it on my skin (five minutes maybe) it had absorbed into my skin. I guess this says something about the blend's staying power. ^^ If earthy scents were my thing (which I now know, for sure, that they are not) this one would of been divine.

In the bottle : tea leaves. Just tea leaves and nothing else. Maybe this is the bergamot? All the other notes I have an idea as to what they may smell like, but I'm not sure about bergamot. On skin: Yummy, clean yet musky. The 'tea' smell doesn't stay on my skin and I don't smell any traces of tangerine. I love the way this smells on me. It's very different from the blends I'm usually drawn to, but I like it very much.

I was gifted this imp by a lovely forumite of whose name is yet a mystery to me. ^^ in the bottle: sweet and fresh. It smells like Desdemona, but more innocent, I think. I'm probably smelling sweet pea, but my nose is misleading with notes, so I might be wrong. on the skin: the whole time I had Juliet on, it was light and airy and hard to really pick up on unless I brought my wrist to my nose. It's a very light smell, pleasing to the nose. I can't remember if I reviewed Desdemona, but the reviews for that and Juliet would be almost identical, except Juliet doesn't have the staying power. This is an overall nice smell to have hanging around. A keeper, for now.

As a smell, Red Devil resembles Rapture inside and out. I couldn't tell the difference. I didn't like Rapture, naturally Red Devil had the same affect on me. As a Voodoo Blend (which I would like to review differently, in terms of its overall purpose) - B just wrinkled his nose and rolled over. I take it he didn't like the rose smell and any other elements had no effect on him. Darn! We were in a tiff, so maybe that had something to do with it. If I liked the smell I would try a second go, but since strong roses just aren't me ... to the swap pile.

This was a freebie from the lab in my recent order. The lab is really good about throwing in scents with notes I like and The Unicorn's description is filled with notes I like. However.... in the bottle : pretty! Sweet and light and florally - but there is something in the undertone that is a little bitter and unsavvy. Hmm... on skin : well the bitter disappears on my skin and I'm left with all the sweets and florals. Which is nice, but there is also a tart smell going on that isn't to my liking. It smells almost like candy thats fermented in the hot car. It reminds me of my preschool class - all sticky fingers and cheeks. While its nice, its not really a keeper. To the swap pile.

Cold Moon is wishy-washy on me. It just doesn't know what its going to smell like on any given day. In the bottle : its crisp, cool and kinda sweet. There is something underneath it all, though, that I don't like. Can't tell what it is. On the skin: still crisp and cool, but not as sweet. It fades into my skin to make a very light scent. Hmm. I can't really describe this scent. Sometimes I think I like it, sometimes I don't. The first two times I wore Cold Moon, I developed a really bad headache. Not sure if it was the scent by itself, or if my sinus infection helped it. I'll have to try this again before I make a final verdict.

A maddeningly festive blend of warm, buttery rum, cocoa, coconut, vanilla and a jolt of peppermint. It’s a sweet, decadent, slightly silly scent, reminiscent of rum-laced holiday cookies. in the bottle : thin mints. chocolate and mint. there is no other way to describe it. on skin : I never really get a coconut smell out of it. The note just doesn't come out on my skin with this blend. It does become more minty, but nothing over powering and always with the creamy chocolate in the background. I'm really glad Rhian told me this was available. I didn't even think about buying it, I just did. I'm glad I did, too. Spooky is beautiful.

Forest & Woods Scents (with and without evergreens)

I'll fourth (fifth? sixth?) Dublin as a pleasant, foresty scent. It's very low key and understated. Nothing too overpowering, which makes it perfect (on me). -
Light, gentle, subtle scents for the office, class, expectant moms

Kumiho in a pretty light scent. Fresh and a little lemony. It doesn't have a very long staying power, though.
