this is really interesting. i love amber, and it's strong here. there's pine, spices that remind me of incense, and full, fruity but not overly sweet berries. all of these different things swirl over each other. on first sniff the spices are strongest. then i get a whiff of amber. next, the pine reveals itself. then i get a mixture of berries and amber. what a great, complex mixture.

this is aquatic and warm and heavily floral. like walking through a flower garden on a really hot day. it's also really strong. too overpowering and too floral for me.
-
this smelled a lot like strawberries when i first put it on. as it dried, it smelled exactly like cherry chapstick. maybe slightly more astringent. it makes me feel happy.
-
on me this was all lavender, which was fine by me! it's very soothing and i think it's fine for a guy or a girl.

this wasn't very strong on me. i had to re-apply it to get a good idea of what it smelled like. it's like a mixture of nag champa and roses. powdery and smoky, very subtle and understated.

at first it smells very strongly of lime, but you can tell that it's not pure lime, there's also something else in the background that makes it seem kind of dark and mysterious. then the citrus fades and what's left is a very delicate lilac. i do like it, but citrus is always so overpowering on my skin, so i don't know if i'll wear it that much.

sandalwood and florals definitely. but i'm also smelling stuff that i don't think is really there, like coconut at first, and lemon later on. i think this is perfect for a really sophisticated, classy, elegant kind of woman. that's not me, but it's still a nice scent.

when i first applied wolfsbane it smelled very soapy and herbal, like something i'd use to wash my face with. then when it dried it started to smell strongly of roses, and a little bit like baby powder.
-
this is sweet, tangy and sour, like overripe fruit. i was worried that it might be too much, but when it dries it's just right. the clean herbal scent of bay keeps it from becoming too cloying. i can just barely pick out the incense in the background. to me this scent is the "reverse" of athens, in which the incense smell is very strong and the wine and honey are faint.

at first it's like pumpkin pie with a rich, buttery crust. then it smells more like apples and cinnamon, with a hint of peach. i wish i could bathe in this, it's so good!!!

i really liked this to begin with. then i went to a catholic church and i thought, wow, cathedral is right on the money. it captures the wood and marble, the incense hanging in the air, and something else, like the smell of old books. i love it because it's so exact. it REALLY smells like a church.

i got this as a gift imp in my last order and i think i need to buy a bottle of it now. this is the perfect floral for me. it's all roses, my favorite. it's clean, aquatic, fresh, not powdery. it's just so pretty

i had a weird reaction with this one. in the bottle it smelled minty and aquatic. but when i applied it, no joke, it smelled like cherry kool-aid. then as it dried, it started to smell like a pina colada. it made me feel slightly ill so i washed it off. way too fruity and sweet on my skin.

this is really layered. first i get a kind of wet, earthy, mildew smell. like sniffing a tree with moss growing on it, after it's rained. then i get more of a shoe leather smell. then after awhile, i am surprised by a nice, sweet smell emerging that reminds me of baking pies. that's probably the clove. there's still a hint of the other stuff in the background but the sweetness becomes very strong and sticks around for a long time.

this is the first dragon's blend i've tried. the dragon's blood is very strong, and so is the orris. i'm not getting the sandalwood from this. it's all floral on me.

in the vial this smells like some kind of furniture cleaner. as it dries, it smells exactly like polo cologne. a clean, masculine scent. after about 1/2 hour, it's like laying on dry grass on a scorching hot summer day.
-
in the bottle this smells like mahogany wood and cherry cough syrup. when i put it on the mahogany goes away and the cherry gets stronger. it's kind of medicinal but not in a harsh way. it's sweet and sort of comforting. this is a keeper for me.
-
in the bottle and on first application, this smells like almond extract. as it dries, it completely changes until i can't smell the almond at all. now it's all clove. warm and spicy. sweet and exotic. this will be nice on hot summer evenings.

spooky is great. at first it smells like mint and chocolate - like a peppermint patty. then it's not so sharp. as it mellows, a nutty smell (almonds?) comes out, then fades. then the coconut comes out, and a little bit of rum, too. in the end, it smells like coconut suntan oil. it's very long-lasting; a little goes a long way.

I like this. Warm, energizing, flirty, sexy jasmine. I guess the musk is what makes it warm. I would wear this to go out dancing, especially on a night when I'm not feeling especially sexy and need a boost of confidence.

On me this smelled very strongly of oranges and I couldn't detect anything else. A little too sweet for my taste.

I tried this twice and did not like it at all - too dry and powdery, like old lady perfume. But I applied it again today, wanting to write a review, and to my surprise it smelled quite different! Very wet and fruity this time, so I like it much better. I agree with the other reviews that say it is "purple". Sniffing my wrists is like burying my nose in a bunch of fresh, rain covered violets. This would be lovely for a fancy dinner or any formal, dress-up occasion.

To me, this is a sad but dignified scent. It smells of old dirt and grass, like from an ancient crypt. There's also the faint scent of dry flowers left at a grave long ago, so old they would fall apart at the slighest touch. I also smell tart red wine in the background. At first, the dirt smell was almost too much. It made me feel sad actually! So I didn't want to wear it and make people around me feel sad. But after fifteen minutes, the flowers and wine came out more (especially the wine) and balanced the dirt smell, and then I liked it. I would wear this whenever I'm in a serious, solemn mood.

The Four Hundred divine rabbits of the Aztec pantheon that preside over parties and drunkenness. Bittersweet Mexican cocoa with rum, red wine, and a scent redolent of sacrificial blood. at first this smells like burnt chocolate. when it dries, the burning smell goes away and then it's like a bitter dark chocolate mixed with fruity red wine. in the background there's a slight metallic, iron-y smell that could be blood. this scent lasted for hours and remained consistent until i washed it off. i think this is a great winter perfume, very warm and comforting.

I love woodsy, earthy scents so I was very excited to try this. It smells strongly of pine, but not in a crisp, cold way. It's surprisingly warm and mellow. There's also something that smells kind of like...sweat? But in a good way! Maybe that's the musk? It makes me think of forest beasts running after their prey. After it dries, the sweetness of the amber comes out more, and that's very nice too as it mixes with the warm pine notes. Wow, I'm really glad there is a perfume that smells like this
