I have to agree with a few others. On me this smelled exactly like cherry cough syrup. Specifically like red Robitussin, which was the bane of my existence as a child. I like many of Beth's other blends, unfortunately this one didn't work out.

#5 of 300 The first thing i get, both in the bottle and on initial application is the Plum. I agree that it does smell allot like the fruitness i get from the Queen of Clubs, but not as sweet. Right after application, however, it moves into the background. From then on i et a spicy incense blend with a little fruit underneath. The longer I wear it, the more the woods and spices come out. I also get a little champaca flower, but i blends in so well that i have to really sniff for it to smell it. All in all this is a great blend. I am glad it came in a 10Ml.

In the bottle I really smell the bourbon, but once i put it on it changes completely. Wet the first and strongest thing I smell is the cardamom. As it dries the leather really comes out on me and as a nice dimension to the spiciness. The longer I wear this the more the patchouli comes out to play. It has a great throw too. I have to say that this has to be one of my favorite spicy scents. The lab is welcome to call me naughty and spank me any time as long as it smells this good!

ok, here it goes, this is my first review ever: ct CCCXLVII (347) In Bottle: It smells like butterscotch, or buttered rum Wet: for a few minutes it smells just like it did in the bottle, then starts to turn into a spicy floral. It reminds me a little of Fenris Wolf Dry: as it dries it goes through a few changes. The floral amps up, but there is a slight bitter note to it. Then all of the sudden the floral drops away and I am left with a slightly spicey honey vanilla. In the end a slight hint of the floral comes back to play with the honey and vanilla. Over all I like the end result. It lasts a while and has a good throw, but i'm not sure if I love it yet. It will take me a few more trys to make sure

I just swaped for a 5 ml of Samhain that i should be getting in the next few days. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. Thanks for the help. You guys are all great. ETA: got my 5ML of Samhain today.... Thanks brownbat...very speedy. And the verdict is: It is indeed Samhain. It just goes very smokey and not foody at all. Love it :-) Thanks again

I got an imp ear of a LE from an auction and think it might be miss labeled. It says Samhain, but it doesn't smell like any of the reviews says it should. I think it might actually be Hearth. The oil is a pinkish color, and to me it does have a smokey/tobacco/sweet smell. Is Samhain pink? Any ideas? as i've never tried either Samhain or Hearth I'm really not sure what i've got.
