I was sorting my imps into alphabetical order when I came across my imp of Jezirat al Tennyn. Hmm, that's strange. I have zero recollection of ever having tested it. Dab, dab, dab. This smells like a tropical version of Zombi. That delicious wet earth scentl comes through straightaway, but it also smacks of hot, tropical jungle. This one actually reminds me a lot of Bali. Trekking through the hot, wet jungle. You have a farmer burning off in the distance along with the fertile wet soil by your feet. There is lush foliage all around you, not to mention the menacing threat of the steaming volcano somewhere near by.

After reading the description, I was very curious to see what this one would be like on my skin. Initially, the menthol was rather overpowering, but within a couple of minutes it settled into a lovely light scent. Balsam and wood. Very nice. I didn't really notice any individual notes, I'm afraid that my nose isn't sophisticated enough to differentiate between the individual woods and herbs. I was expecting a heavier scent, but it's actually quite light and ethereal. Very nice.

I got this one as a frimp from the lab. I checked what went into this one and I've got to say, I had no idea what orris was. So after googling, I now know that it is the root of some species of iris. The scent can be compared to that of violets, so now I vaguely know what to sniff for. Initially, all I can smell is the coconut with some woody depth to it. Red musk comes out to play on the drydown which is nice. Musk works well with my skin so I'm enjoying sniffing my wrist at this stage. After half an hour I'm smelling what I think is the orris. It's like a woody, violet sort of smell. It's rather nice, but I don't really see myself wearing this one too much.

What's wrong with me? When I placed this in my last order, this was the bottle that I was most looking forward to trying...but it just isn't for me. In the bottle, it screams of plastic. I put it on and it doesn't really smell any different When I was a kid, I had a My Little Pony that smelled like caramel popcorn. To me, this is exactly the Dragon's Milk reminds me of, sweet vanilla scented plastic. I wore it out to work one day and I had two people comment that I smelled lovely, so who knows?

This is a sexy scent, but I think that I prefer it on my boyfriend. Wet - Aquatic and masculine. Not in a way that reminds me of the artificialness of Cool Water, but a literal salty aquatic scent. This is the smell of the ocean on a stormy winter's day. Dry down - It becomes woody after a few minutes and that saltiness is still prevalent. This is deliciously sexy! Dry - This has developed and changed quite a bit. Err, did anyone else notice that it starts to smell like a certain male bodily fluid?. There, I said it. The fresh stuff, mind you. Not altogether a bad thing. It's slightly animalistic while still maintaining it's initial aquatic notes. This doesn't last for too long on me, then again, not too many scents do. I swear that I have blotting paper for skin!

My first review! Let's see how this goes. In the bottle, this is overwhelming. My initial thoughts were 'Whoa, artificial pumpkin!'. Wet - The pumpkin is strong, at this stage I'm not too sure if I like it. It has enormous throw, my parents could smell me from the next room It is extremely sugary, which I love! No peach yet. Drydown - Ok, the pumpkin is still letting itself be known. But, I'm starting to like the pumpkin a little more now. The lovely creamy sugary scent is still playing in the game and the peach is starting to make a little more of an appearance. And is that cinnamon? Or perhaps nutmeg? Whatever the spice is, it's lovely. Dry - The peach has really developed. And this is a lovely peach! It isn't a fresh peach, but rather a syrupy canned peach sort of smell. This isn't a bad thing because I love peach in all of it's forms...I don't discriminate. I would say that the peach and the pumpkin are equal players in this. Overall, it's a winner. I have my 5 ml and I'm not parting with this one just yet. This just has to be mentioned. My skin is like blotting paper, within a couple of hours I can barely smell anything on it. So, it is a huge deal that five hours after my initial application, I can still smell Jack! Hurray!
