I have been dying to try this forever-I love Lilith Victoria, so I am pretty sure this will not disappoint. Mmm sugared vanilla tea and musk, maybe a hint of lemon. Yes, it is sugary, but not candyish or foody persay. More delicate and elegant. Mmm-on my skin this is just as lovely! Perfect sugared vanilla tea and musk, and something else I can't quite put my finger on...on full drydown this is just as amazing! It really isn't a morpher on me-same wet and dry smell. So gorgeous! I am having a hard to time describing this one to be honest-but it is truly an amazing and beautiful blend. There is a reason why it is so popular!

This is a decant from 2006-Sniffing this in the imp it is far more calm on patchouli than I remember the one I sniffed from '08's will call. I'm thinking the aging mellowed it out. This has a sweet spiced apple cidery/pumpkin smell, the woods are also very subdued. Lovely! Oh yeah, this is an uber-autumn scent. On my skin the damp woods/fir comes out a lot more and mingles with the cider scent. A perfect combination of the two different autumn elements-the smell of the natural outdoors and the autumn foody scents from inside. This is an excellent blend-if I didn't already have two cidery autumn style blends, I would probably try to track down an older bottle of Samhain. Again, I do remember it being FAR more sharp and patchouli heavy when young, so this seems like a blend that if you really dig the patchouli/earthy side of autumn, you would want to grab the freshest bottle possible!

Yep, in the imp this is sandalwood and dragon's blood-nothing unexpected here. Sandalwood amps to high heavens on me and dragon's blood isn't my bag, but I never know how a blend will be on my skin! Yep, pretty much the same on my skin! Dragon's blood and sandalwood-I want to note, the sandalwood is in JUST the right proportion here. Not too strong, not too weak. Really does seem like the perfect combination of the two. Surprisingly, the sandalwood doesn't amp on me! Full dry down is the same! If you are a fan of Dragon's Blood and Sandalwood, you will have to try this blend!

The pinnacle of wealth, luxury, self-indulgent pleasure, voluptuousness and sensuality. Bright violet with sweet clove, Mediterranean incense notes and tonka bean. In the imp this is SUPER sweet violet and spices. The violet is by far the most prominent note. Hmm...kind of interesting on my skin-I can smell the cloves and incense a lot more. Yes, the incense comes out quite a bit on my skin. Now, there is nothing bad about this blend, but I can tell that the mixture of violet and incense is probably just not gonna be my cuppa. Something about the way the two scents combine smells off to my nose. A bit chlorine-y O_o On drydown this chlorine-y bit goes away, the incense does calm down the spices mellow. The sweet violet always remains the dominant note in this blend. Goes a bit powdery on full drydown. Overall, I am not an incense fan, so it is no surprise this blend isn't for me, but any violet fan should at least give this blend a shot, and if the idea of violet with incense and spices tickles yer pickle, this is probably a must have.

This is a blend that many of my bpals love, and that I have been dying to try for ages now-I've been into bpal over a year and am just now FINALLY getting a chance to try it! Very promising in the imp-soft spices, carnation and musk in the imp! Very pretty! Even prettier on! The sandalwood peeks out in JUST the right amount (I tend to amp it really badly), but it is behaving here. Warm creamy spices (I swear I smell vanilla in this too...) and carnation. Just lovely! It's a bit light on me, a very close to the skin kind of scentt. This kind of feels like Antique Lace's sexy twin sister. Yep, on full drydown this is VERY similar to Antique Lace on my skin. It's the warmer, cozier, sexier version, with some added spices and musk. It is too similar to Antique Lace on me to buy a bottle right now (I have my AL bottle I'm still working on), but when I finish that bottle, I can see myself picking up this as a replacement!

Darn-in the imp this is the ginger I can't do...half of the bpal gingers are gorgeous on me, the other half are hard to describe but just don't go well with my skin...this is the second ]: Reminds me a bit of the ginger in War...not getting much orange blossom. Hopefully that will come out more on my skin! Which it does on my skin! Much much better...the ginger calms down and the orange blossom comes out, and the patchouli gives this a nice grounded earthiness. Wow, I did not like this in the imp, but it smells SO much different on my skin. Ah the morphing power of bpal! Wow...this is so odd on full drydown. It ends up basically being a sweet powder scent-O_o Nothing like how it was in the imp at *all* Yep, full drydown it is sweet orange blossom powder with... snake oil undertones. Hah! A true morpher! Very distinct stages. Not something I would purchase but an incredibly interesting blend to test!

This is far more aquatic in the imp than I expected-a bit salty and ozoney green floral. Huh... The saltiness fades on my skin, but this is still far more aquatic-y than I expected...I'm not sure which note this is to be honest. It's still kind of pretty, but aquatics just don't mesh with my skin chemistry well! The jasmine, which can amp on me sometimes, is not strong in this at all. Overall, this was not exactly what I expected-on my skin it was a breezy green aquatic (not salty aquatic on dry-down at all!) floral-very hard to describe note-wise. If jasmine scares you off, I wouldn't worry about it in this blend!

In the imp, this is patchouli and violets. A bit too patchouli heavy for me, hopefully the violet will bloom on my skin. Gah, no, on my skin this is like, all patchouli root...almost has that weird cedary pencil smell I get sometimes. Barely any violet or currant at all. Yeah, on my skin this 85% patchouli root, with the last 15% a mix of the violet, currant, and moss. Too much patchouli root for me (which goes pencil-y on me), but would be good for someone who wants a truly dark, earthy violet type of scent and doesn't amp patchouli the way I do.

In the imp this is strong jasmine and heady florals. Very strong and intense. Jasmine haters, beware! Same on my skin-super jasmine and heady blooms. I hate to repeat myself, but there isn't really any change. I get almost no earth, moss, incense or herbs really O_o The florals are just overwhelming. Now-it does change on full drydown and calms down quite a bit-not quite so heady and intense. It becomes a jasmine+incense blend. If you don't like jasmine or it amps on you, avoid this blend! If you do like jasmine, check this out!

This is gorrrrgeous! Absolutely love it! So classic and pretty and feminine, but the rice paper adds a uniqueness to the blend that keeps it from being generic. The gardenia is the strongest note, but it never feels sharp or soapy here-very soft and fluttery. And the rice paper-AH-I don't know how to describe it. So simple and unique. The honey here is not sweet or overwhelming at all. Just barely there-if you fear honey notes, I wouldn't worry about it in this blend. I love this blend-if you hate gardenia you probably won't like this blend, buf if you are on the fence, you should atleast try for a decant. It's flowery but not in your face floral. Soft and delicate. Totally a keeper!

I agree with the other reviewers-this is not a chocolately blend, like last year's green label 13 was. In the bottle this is a rich, dark gingery scent, loaded with spices. On my skin-WHOA GINGER! Strong, dark ginger-very strong and mostly overpowering towards the other notes in the blend. Hmm...ginger and a mixture of herbs and spices and a touch of brown sugar. I don't really get any dark chocolate at all. This is a deep dark ginger-a wee bit like gingerbread poppet minus the sweetness or cake-ness. Super ginger mixed loaded with exotic spices and brown sugar. Not a chocolately blend at all. Very potent. This isn't quite what I was expecting but if you are a ginger lover, you will need to get your hands on this!

Ooooo, this is delicious in the imp! Rich molasses and super sweet sugar cane over a hint of rich woods! Gorgeous! Holy crap, this is AMAZING! O_O Sometimes wood is overwhelming for me, but in this case, it keeps the blend from being too sickly sweet. Hopefully the wood won't amp too much as this dries down completely, but on initial application it is just the right amount? You know what this reminds me of? Sugar Skull, but replace the slight fruitiness of the Sugar Skull with oak wood. *nod* Yep, that's just what this is to me! If I didn't have Sugar Skull, I could see myself snatching up a bottle of this-but I prefer the fruitiness of SS to Kill-Devil's woody undertones, but if you are jonesing for a slightly rougher, earthier Sugar Skull you have to check this out!

In the imp, this is super sweet pine sap and berries. Yep, pretty similar on my skin-uber sweet pine sap is the strongest note, with hints of berries and woods. This blend it quite true to its description. The piercing sweetness quickly fades as the blend dries down into a soft sweetness and the wood note comes out much more. Soft sweet woods under a layer of berries and sugary pine sap. Not my thing, but if the description of this blend appeals to you, you must try it out!

Oh, pretty! I love peony!!! Soft, pastel flowers! Fresh and just a little green! The grass note gets a LOT stronger on my skin and as this dries down, which is a bit of a bummer, because grass notes aren't really my thing. This is nice-the greeny greeness fades on full drydown, but leaves a soft grassiness behind. Goes very well with the pretty pastel flowers. This is a nice springy blend! Like running through a clean grassy field in a flurry of pink petals in the spring! Lovely!

Strong ylang ylang and jasmine in the imp. Jasmine haters, beware! On my skin the plum pokes out a bit more, which is good, because I adore the lab's plum notes. Mostly though, this is ylang ylang and jasmine-palooza. Very heady florals. Not for the faint at heart! This is a very strong blend-good throw and very long staying power. I like jasmine ok, but usually as a background note. It's just too strong in here for me. But if you are a jasmine fan, you have to at least check this out! Sexy intense jasmine and ylang ylang with a bit of fruity plum! Very nice!

Hmm-this sounds interesting...I love black currant, lavender, sugar and absinthe...but I don't know what to expect from the fern note and rose and I don't always get along. I like this in the imp-a fresh green scent with lavender and a touch of absinthe. A light green floral, not too heavy. Lavender haters take note-it is noticeable in this blend for sure. I like lavender and I actually like this blend more than I thought I would. The rose seems to be behaving. It is mostly a green ferny/lavender blend to my nose. Very pretty and feminine. While I can't see myself needing a bottle of this, I think it is a gorgeous, lovely blend. Fern will get added to the list of green scents I like. It mixed perfectly with the florals, a very well behaved rose and lovely lavender. The rest of the notes aren't quite as noticeable but the sugar/currant help sweeten and girly up the blend and the absinthe gives it just a bit of an edge. Beautiful!

Huh-in the imp this pretty much smells as described-myrrh and violet and juniper and cypress. Im not really a myrrh or juniper or cypress fan tbh, but this is an interesting combination. Eh, on my skin it's a bit weird though...kind of a sickly sweet sticky smoky smell. Gah, yes this is so odd-the myrhh fades on drydown and this is SUPER sweet violet and smoke O_o Hints of juniper and cypress. Such an odd scent-very original. This fades rather fast and leaves behind a sweet powdery violet. This isn't for me, but it was a very interesting and unique blend that I am glad I tried!

This was a lab frimp-I would not have ever picked this out for me. I'm not a huge Dragon's Blood fan and salty aquatic notes have yet to work on me! So testing this should be an adventure! In the imp this is Dragon's Blood with a hint of aquatics-the salt/aquatics aren't as strong as I expected, though they tend to amp on my skin... Ehhhhh on my skin that salty aquatic-ness just jumps out at me-very noticeable over the Dragon's Blood. Meh-salty aquatic floral-if you like salty aquatics and Dragon's blood then check this one out, it's pretty much as described!

In the imp this is all musk and wood. Very masculine. Woods/masculine blends aren't my thing, so I am almost positive that even when I test this it won't be a blend I would like, but it does smell very alluring in the imp. Deep rich musky wood-particularly rosewood. On my skin this is HELLO WOOD-but I really can't discount the red musk in this either. Rosewood and red musk! In your face! Rawr! Yep-rich red woods and musk! If this is your thing, you have to check this blend out!
-
This blend wasn't for me at all-a rather unmemorable dour floral blend. Floral haters beware! This is a gloomy bouquet-the rose goes a bit sour on me and in the end this turns out to be a rather soapy floral on my skin. I will have to pass this imp along!

Yummy!!! Sweet almond and musk! Also a touch of saffron! Deepened a bit by myrrh! Oh this is lovely! I get a little bit worried about the amber-it tends to go super powdery on me, but damn, this smells good in the imp! Mmm...I do love the lab's almond note! It smells almost the same on me as it did in the imp, though it is going a little powdery already, and the lotus is starting to come out, which is not a note I am a huge fan of...I am going to see how this dries down...if the almond/saffron/cardamom win or the powdery amber/lotus wins. Overall, this was very nice-still a bit powdery, but not in an offputting way-sweet almond/cardamom and saffron over myrrh and musk, with the hint of lotus fading on full drydown. This faded rather fast on me, and there are other sweet almond bpal blends I prefer, but if the notes in this sound intriguing to you and you do well with amber, you have to check this out!

I remember sniffing a Blue Phoenix prototype before this year's batch of phoenixes came out. I was so bummed when this was not among them, because I had loved the prototype-sweet airy blueberry. I haven't had much luck with bpal blueberry (Blue Fire and Crawdad Dream didn't work on me) so I am hoping this will be the one! Oh yes, in the bottle this is an airy vanilla blueberry scent. Sooo pretty! On my skin though the blueberry note goes a little weird. I dunno...maybe my skin just hates blueberry...that bright blue sweetness just fades away >_< I end up with kind of a weird chemically scent. =/ Yeah, weird sweet chemically blueberry. DARNIT! I may hold onto this for a while to see how it ages, and I think this would be insanely gorgeous on the right person, but lab blueberry just hates my skin! ETA: On full full drydown it's sweet blueberry powder. Still meh. ]:

This was a frimp from a generous swapper-in the imp this smells like lemon dryer sheets O_o Definitely a lemon and cotton scent. A bit too cleanser-y for my tastes. GAHH, on my skin it is even MORE cleansery! Like fresh cotton sheets dipped in lemon cleanser. It thankfully calms down quickly after a few moments on the skin-sweetens up a bit so it is not so astringent. The lemon and astringent-y cleanser smell fades a lot as this fully dries down. This ends up being a clean warm cotton smell with a hint of lemon. The full drydown is by far my favorite stage. Not something I need to keep, but worth trying if you are into clean cottony scents.

Floral haters-steer clear! This is a beautiful bouquet! Admittedly I am not very good at picking out specific floral notes, but this is a very pretty girly blend, a little sweet and a little tart, with the frankincense giving it a darker depth. Ehhh, darn, on my skin one of the florals goes a bit weird-it smells alright from far away, but up close it just smells a bit off. I blame my skin! This sort of reminds me of Lune Noire, but less red/purple. Overall, this did dry down nicely-a somewhat sharp but not sour blend of flowers and frankincense. I am not sure if I am going to hold onto this-it really does remind of me Lune Noire without the red/purple notes-so if you like blends like Lune Noire, you should check this out!

I love the lab's plum notes, so I am very excited to try this blend! This much greener than I would have expected-less purple juicy plum and more stemmy greens and some plum. Yeah I suppose "wildflowers" are not for me-that is mostly what I get-meh. Not my kinda florals. Too green and a little dirty. I thought this would be a more sweet flirty plum scent. I get no cream at all! Ya this isn't for me, stemmy wildflowers and earthy plum. Pretty, but not the sweet fruity scent I had hoped for!
