In the bottle: Roses and Berry! OMG! Maybe a slight bit of the lilac On Me: Whoa. This is the epitome of that tangy rose that I don't particularly enjoy. Luckily, it warms up when worn into something very red and juicy. I can smell the plum now, which is giving scent a bit of richness. The lilac also manages to tone down the rose a bit, and take away from the tang. Definitely a bold and dramatic scent.

In the bottle: VERY similar to my lovely Coyote, which I adore so much. Warm, dusty, a little mossy On me: Still warm and dusty, like a dirt road in the summer. Lasted all day too! Love this. It reminds me of dusk.
-
In the Bottle: Musk, Ginger, and a floral. Very sweet. On Me: Musk, ginger and a tiny bit of floral. Pretty. I could see myself wearing this being a great summertime evening-out scent.
-
In the bottle: This smells exactly like Cream of Earl Grey tea from The Tea Party here in Ottawa. Immediately, I smell the cream accord, the teak and the amber. It seems very warm and lovely On me: Very warm. The cream tones down a bit and the teak comes out, making it a bit more woody. The Lotus Blossom makes it a bit green and, strangely, musky. Very very faint.

In the bottle: Golden amber, musk and some kind of plant. Ha, I just looked up kush. Didn't expect to have that included! On me: Uh-oh. My skin eats this one up immediately. Lasted maybe 5 minutes. I vaguely smell a very resinous amber and musk. Time to reapply and try again. On the second try, I get almost entirely musk and amber. There is a bit of honey in the background, making this scent golden. I can faintly smell the currant too. It's a pretty blend, but doesn't seem to like me too much.

In the bottle: Tea, moss and green sandalwood. On Me: Green, fresh and slightly metallic. Vaguely and minutely soapy, but not in an unpleasant way. The tea, moss and sandalwood blend very nicely together. It's a very nice scent. I think it's the tonka that warms it a bit, kind of like the first peek of sun on dew covered plants on summer mornings. I like this, though it may be a little too "clean" smelling for me.

KHAJURAHO 2008 In the Bottle: Err, bananas? And Rose. Weird.... On Me: This is so odd! Maybe it just needs to age a bit...I'm getting some tropical flowers, which remind me of my time in St. Kitts. Some rose, though it's not too heavy, it does give me that annoying rose tang. Just not loving it as much as the 2007 version. It's a little too light. I don't get the honey, amber or vanilla. Huh. So odd.

I hope it's ok that I'm reviewing this, as I posted the 2007 review a few months ago. Feel free to delete if not LUPERCI 2008 In the bottle: Earthy patchouli, balsam and oakmoss. Almost a dry and dusty dirt scent On me: This is interesting. It reminds me of digging in the garden for planting. I can definitely smell the musk, but this is far more "neutral" and dirty than the 2007 version. Amusingly, my body is just eating it up and I can barely smell it. I definitely get patchouli and oakmoss. I think I can smell the Sampson Root, but I'm not familiar enough with the scent to pick it out. I can smell the resiny warmth of the beeswax in the background. This is so much nicer than last year's blend, at least on me. Much more feminine and earthy, with almost no "cologne"

In the Bottle: Whoa! There is a whole lot going on here, though I really like it. Spices, incense and olive blossom. On Me: Oh, this is such a neat blend! This is hard to explain, but it smells tingly. Does that make sense? I definitely get some spices, reminiscent of cinnamon and maybe clove?. It reminds me of spring (slight chill, but with the warmth of the sun). I can definitely pick up the olive blossom in this, which is just lovely. I'm surprised, but I really like this. I think I'm going to wear it to Ostara dinner tonight.

In the Bottle: A musky dirty vanilla with resin. On me: Sweet grass, vanilla, maybe some sandalwood. Very comforting and warm, a little resin-ey. Maybe there's some benzoine or amber in here? Not sure, but I like it. "Results": So far, I have found that I feel a lot lighter and happier today. More forgiving and willing to move forward. Definitely what I needed. I wear this to bed when upset or when I want a comfortable and restful sleep.

In the Bottle: Green and dirty, I like it. On Me: So hard to pin down! It warms up a bit, but I can't pick out any notes. It goes well with everything and gets a little more resin-y as the day wears on (I had had Irish Breakfast tea and some oatmeal for breakfast, and somehow, this imp complimented them and gave me a sense of comfort). "Results": Certainly not what I was expecting. I definitely overcame some adversity, however it was a whole lot of adversity in very little time. It was overwhelming. I fought with some medical officials over my health and ended up getting through and being very upset. I also had an incident occur with a guy at work (we've had prior issues) that ended up with a report being filed and him getting a smack down. Again, an emotional day. So, things getting sorted out, however my emotional self is feeling run down.

In the Bottle: I was really excited about this scent, as it combines so many of my favourite things in one blend. First sniff reveals fresh velvety dark red rose petals, but close. I can almost feel them against my nose. On Me: Roses, beeswax, some amber, lily of the valley and honeysuckle, maybe some of the carnation. This is a beautiful and bold rose scent, and is just so perfectly red and ROSE. I love it
-
In the bottle: Uh, dryer sheets? On Me: First sniff is very chemically and WHOA!Perfume! I don't think the vanilla is strong enough in this one to weigh down the florals and give them more definition. The bergamot is nice though, I can distinguish it from the rest. It's just too Junipery for me

In the bottle: Wierd... white grape juice? On Me: The juice becomes a rose quickly and is beautiful. I love this. It's perfect for its name. It's so very pretty, pure and innocent. I love this.

This is boozy, sweet and every so fantastic! I feel naughty and fun wearing this blend. It's not too boozy that I worry about people thinking I've had one too many, and it's also not so cloying that I can't handle the sweetness of it. It's fun and flirty and feels very pink.

In the Bottle: Very rich caramel, amber and tobacco. LOVE! On Me: Oh my god, I just want to slather this on. It's tobacco, Amber, Coconut and Caramel, and ever so beautiful. It's decadent and gorgeous. I think a 5ml is in order. Dries dark and ever so yummy.

Heather, clover, Irish moss, English ivy, tea rose, and carnation. In the bottle: Moss and flowers On me: The first note to really come out is rose. Normally, I'm not a fan of the rose scents as they tend to get very sharp and soapy on me, but this is perfect. It's cut flowers, grass and the warmth of petals against the skin. As it dries down, it stays summer florals, with clover taking the lead, with the moss and grasses sitting in the back. Beautiful
-
In the bottle: Cedar, some sandalwood, dirty dirty patchouli and nutmeg On Me: When I first put it on, it's a spicey dusty wood blend that I think will dry warm and beautiful. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Ick. The patchouli gives it a bit of a sweaty smell. I can kind of smell everything else under it, but it just..isn't for me.
-
In the Bottle: Berries! A faint amber and vanilla undertone. On Me: Berries, smoke, and the faintest amber. It's nice and fresh. I like this It reminds me of a purfume I used to wear as a young teen. It's fresh and fun and still sweet.
-
In the bottle: Leather, sage On me: Such high hopes for this scent! It has some of my favourite notes! So, does it live up to its potential? Absolfreakinlutely. I need a 5ml of this. It's a beatiful warm leather (I think it's the Sandalwood and Snake Oil that warms it), with a bit of dust (the sage maybe?) I just love this. It feels warm and comforting. I see cowboy boots, a tiered skirt and long nights. Beautiful

In the bottle: Purfume-y and smokey. Hrm. On me: Much greener and more herby than the other two snakes I've sniffed. I definitely get the orange, ginger and oakmoss, but I can barely smell any amber or sandalwood. The gardenia comes out and kind of takes over with the jasmin, making it a little bit harsh and floral. I'm hoping it dried warmer.
-
In the bottle: Heliotrope, peach and some sandalwood. On Me: A spicey heliotrope scent. It's sweet and pretty, with a strong vanilla undertone, not sure if its for me, but it's quite nice
-
In the bottle: Apples, rice milk, sugar, pomegranate, and plums. On Me: Reminds me of one of the Body Shop room oils. It's a beautifully fruity scent, reminding me of coming in after a cold afternoon of walking through the leaves. Some of the herbs and plants come out a bit more in dry down, giving a nice deep richness to the scent, balancing out the fresh fruit. Love it
-
In the bottle: Frankincense, citrus, lavender On me: ROSE, musk and a tiny bit of orchid. Eh. It's ok, but nothing super awesome. A pretty floral, but not my favourite. Looks like rose bores me these days.

Darkly seductive and lethally compelling: sinuous opponax, galbanum, dark wild berries, a drop of lush jasmine and a sliver of lime. In the bottle: Jasmin, berries and lime. Wiiiierd combo. On me: Definitely dark. The lime is throwing me off a bit. The opponax, galbanum and jasmin are lush, dark, dusky and warm. The berries sweeten it and the lime brings a freshness to counter the darkness. I don't think this one is for me, but it's gorgeous and mysterious. Ominous. If this scent were a lady, I would not mess with her.
