  1. This is definitely a lovely rose! One of the best rose scents I have ever smelled! It's beautiful without being headachy. I may need to acquire a bottle of this.

This isn't quite what I would think of as a true to life rose. It is definitely more of a perfume rose since it is missing that slight hint of greenness that I associate with roses straight from the garden

  2. Very spicy! Reminds me of the Old Demons scent. Has a hint of sassafras? Might be the red musk actually. I get them confused sometimes since they smell quite similar to me! The cassis in this one is way too strong for me. It's a very woody cinnamon type smell. It's not for me.

  3. Candied apricot and orange blossom honey with grandiflorum jasmine, orris C02, tonka, patchouli, quince, and skin musk.

Sweet! Definitely smelling apricot! I get mostly sweet apricot, but there is also a hint of something else. A floral? Kind of a light scent.

This one is pleasant, but it isn't for me. It's just missing the depth that my favorites have.

  4. This one is sweet! Reminds me of sweet tarts with a tiny herbal hint. After a bit, the sweet powder vibe backs off a little. Now I am really getting the peach, amber, and still a bit of bergamot. I think I'll keep my decant, but this one isn't amazing enough on my skin for a bottle purchase.

  5. On the skin: Wow! I was expecting sneeze inducing cologne, but instead... it is kinda woodsy with a hint of aquatic thrown in. Now this is how cologne should be done!

After a bit, things begin to feel a little.... fizzy? Maybe like there is a bit of tonic thrown in?

Very interesting. I think I need to try this one on my SO.

  6. Orris is usually a powder of doom death note on me, so we'll see how this works out...

On the skin: There is a bit of powderiness here, but mostly I just get this feeling of cleanness. It smells like fresh laundry pulled out of the dryer when it still has a bit of the detergent/clean smell.

    Pleasant, but not my thing.

    2011

On the skin: I don't know evergreen and juniper would smell so good together! Reminds me of the smell of gin. With a hint of lime. Yep, reminds me of a gin and tonic with lime hold the alcohol.

It smells tasty to me, but not something I'd wear.

On the skin: Smells like angel food cake! Yum!! Or a fruit cake with rasins? It's a very light scent though. Not overpoweringly foody. Unexpectedly, I really like this one! I'll need to try it again.

  9. Just looking at the notes, I can't think of why I swapped for this one.

On the skin: Dusty with a hint of suntan lotion (must be the dragon's blood) and fruit? Very weird.

Wow, after the first application, this one changes pretty drastically. Now I get an herbiness that wasn't there before. And a hint of orange? I'd actually completely agree with Nymeria who said this smells like orange/lemon tea. Definitely an herbal tea rather than black tea. Weird!

    Not for me.

  10. It starts out smelling like bubblegum on me. After a bit, I get a weird sour note (grapefruit?) in addition to the sweetness laced with a hint of evergreen and ice.

Really really interesting. I don't think I have ever smelled anything quite like this.

  11. On the skin: A very green woodsy scent. Not evergreen though. Well, maybe a hint of evergreens... Very planty and green! Slight sweetness coming from somewhere? Doesn't smell too cold to me, but mostly a nice outdoorsy smell.

Not for me, but it is quite lovely!
