I was recently given a testable bit of Voodoo Queen from the lovely hellomoonglow. Thanks!!

 

Anyways, on me this smells like a sweet incense. Incense usually isn't my kind of thing, but this actually isn't half bad. This also isn't a heavily smoky incense. To me it is more of a spicy incense.

 

On the dry down, this scent just keeps getting spicier and spicier. Very interesting. I am glad to have had the chance to try it, but I will probably not be actively seeking any out. Bit relieved actually that I didn't fall head over heels for this one.

Wow! This smells awesome!

 

In the bottle: I smell honey sweetness.

 

On the skin: Whoa! Completely different! I still smell some nice honey sweetness, but now there is definitely something vanillaish. It is stronger on the skin than in the bottle.

 

Lovely!! I think I like this better than Glowing Vulva....

Oh, my! This is lovely! This scent turns out to be exactly how I had hoped Litha would smell like. Whereas Litha had a strong gum note that overtook everything else, Eros is pure honey mead. Sooooo good! I just want to eat my arm all up!

 

The only drawback I can see is that this scent doesn't last long at all on me and it doesn't have as much a throw as I would have liked. At least it is a GC, so there will be much slathering!! Mmmmm!

Whoa! The oil is a dark olive green!! Well, on me it smells like a lime snake oil. I know that sounds kind of strange, but it is actually pretty good! There is also something sweet in with the lime, but I can't place it. I think it might be some sugar. Yep: Lime Sugar Snake Oil.

These are the first Chaos Theories that I have ever bought from the lab!! Yay!

 

Disclaimer: I am not really good at picking out notes unless I know what I am looking for. These are my best guesses...

This is definitely a lemon Dorian. There is also something slightly herbally in here, but I am not sure what it is exactly. Lavender? Yes, now that it is drying I get a sweet/herbal vanilla lavender. Ooooh!! Mmmmm!

Definitely smell the Dorian! Mmmmm!

 

At first it smells like a Dorian cake. Sugar, cake, and possibly a little butterscotch? Later it dries into normal vanilla lemon Dorian. On the complete dry down, I smell only tea. Not really my type of thing, so it is going to swaps.

Sweet and earthy!

 

On the skin: I don't normally like anything earthy, but this is actually pretty nice! I think I am happy with my imp though. It is definitely an earthy honey with no morphing as of yet.

Mmmmm! Hello, man!

 

In the bottle: definitely aquatic. Reminds me of something...

 

On the skin: Ah! I know what that it... Ivory soap! My boyfriend used to use it. Hmmmmm.... this is definitely a very good man scent and makes me want to swoon!

Whoa! My first sniff of this from the imp revealed a sharp, herbal smell. Uh, oh....

 

On the skin: After putting a bit on, the sharp herbal smell is gone. Almost immediately. What I am left with smells a bit like burning flowers.

 

I don't think my skin loves this one at all...

Well, I remember liking this the first time I tried it but now I am not so sure.

 

In the Bottle this smells nice, sweet, and fruity with what seems to be a little creamyness as well.

 

On me it turns into a sickly sweet almost rotten smell. Ick! What happened?

On me it isn't sharp at all. Just a light, clean fragrance of florals and a small hint of something green. I am definitely keeping the imp, but I don't think I need a bottle.

Hello, lime! This is definitely smells like lime (a real true lime, not the candies) with a hint of florals. While it smells tasty, it isn't really my style.

 

On the drydown, the lime fades and I am left with only florals. While this blend is beautiful in the end, I already have so many florals, and the lime isn't really me. Imp is off to swaps!

This blend is so interesting and beautiful! On the dry down, I find that it smells quite different up close than when you get a random whiff from further away. Up close it is a nice friendly floral. It is on the verge of turning soapy. From further away, I smell a definite honey with tuberose. Interesting. Definitely going to try this one again and in my locket...

 

Oooooh, boyfriend likes it as well (and he doesn't like any floral....)

First of all, I concur with others that the bottle label is adorable and looks exactly like Lilith!! Cuuuuute!

 

So, I don't think I am normally a musk person as I didn't like Smut at all. This blend started out very strange. I definitely get something slightly fruity, but with a strong smell of tea. Musk? Are you there?

 

Later something sharp and new came up. Is that the musk? Still getting the tea, but the fruit is definitely gone. This is a perfect blend for tea lovers!!

 

This scent is so different than others I have tried before. Not sure if it is going to be in the definite favorite category, but it is definitely intriguing and I would encourage everyone to try this one at least once before making any judgements.

Oh, this is a nice rose! Reminds me of the rose gardens at home! Now this one isn't the sharp green fresh picked rose from Rose Red. Instead it is the scent of a whole bunch of roses in a beautiful garden. The rose isn't actually too overwhelming and this one will stay with me. Of course, I don't think the boy will like it...

Whoa! I put this one on and it immediately brought back memories of being on the swim team back when I was little. It took me a minute to figure out why.... this smells exactly like the sunscreen I used to use! It smells good, but I think I will stick to using actual sunscreen if that is what I feel like smelling.

In the bottle: Mmmmmm, honey!

 

On the skin: honey gum? Strange but surprisingly good... I wish that it was a little more meady on me though. I will have to retest.

In the bottle: Vanilla with something interesting??

 

On the skin: Oooops, it doesn't seem to like me. This one immediately turned to a sickly sweet plastic on me. Could be some hormones or something interfering with my skin chemistry at the moment, but ick. Why? This one is going to swaps.

 

*EDIT* Hee hee! I just received one of the decants I decanted of this scent from a long ago decant circle. Thought I would test it again to see how things had changed..... Nope. Still plastic on my skin, but this time there is something that really warms up the plastic. *sigh*

Wet: Hello, chocolate and ginger!! Wow! This smells exactly like yummy gingerbread!! Unlike other chocolate scents, this one is well behaved and doesn't smell fake.

 

Dry: Oooooh! Brown sugar! I was hoping that I would be able to smell this note! Now I can no longer smell any chocolate. Just brown sugar and ginger. Lovely yummy gingerbread!

While Faith turned into a sickly sweet gag inducing violet, this one is actually pretty nice. I don't like white chocolate personally, but I never got that strange white chocolate smell from this. This was definitely still a sweet violet, but it is a pretty blend.

This blend is instant love for my floral loving self!!

 

I first thought that this was a perfect pink rose... Even after reading the scent list, I still say that this blend reminds me of the pink roses my mother grows. Perfect and lovely! I love this one and am thinking about getting a back up bottle.

 

Also, the boyfriend who dislikes most florals and labels them as soap or detergent smells actually likes this one. He doesn't love it, but the point is that he actually likes one of my new favorite florals (or floral smelling...). Yay!

Smells a bit smoky on me with a bit of sweet florals.

 

Later any smoky smell dies down and I only smell a light, sweet floral. Not one of my favorites, but it is pretty nice.

This smells a bit fruity on me. Pretty nice actually! This floral blend isn't medicinal at all and would be perfect for those who hate florals. I also think this blend smells similar to Eve...

Huh, there is no vetiver in this blend?? I am getting a very smoky fruit smell from Makhantis. Not really my thing. This one is being swapped!

I have to admit that this smells like a generic floral scent. Since I love florals, this one is really nice! Of course, the boy hates florals and I already have a few that I love more, so this one is not for me...

 

 

 

On the skin: Ooooooooh! Light sweet floral! My weakness. Can definitely smell a nice pink rose and some vanilla. Maybe some pear?

Definitely getting a bottle of this one! Mmmmmm!
