  1. On the skin: Whoa! Intense caramel!!

After a few moments, the caramel fades a bit and now it is just a lovely sweetness with a hint of bitter resins and red musk.

Red musk is a death note on me, but this isn't too bad... I need to test this one again!

  2. This reminds me a lot of Rose Red, though Rose Red smells like a different type of rose. The rose of Peacock Queen is a much sweeter rose without the green stem of Rose Red. As a rose scent, this one is fabulous!!

Sadly on the dry down, this scent starts to smell kind of.... moldy on my skin. Oh, skin chemistry!! Why must you betray me!

  3. The world will love its darkness: cistus labdanum, ginger, East Indian patchouli, pimento berry, oakmoss, saffron, smoky vanilla, sage, myrrh, and bitter clove.

On the skin: I am getting a bit of a dirt/smokey smell. It is also kind of sweet. Vanilla? Quite spicy as well.

I am not sure if I like this one.... It is the smokey part.

  4. On the skin: A light airy rose with vanilla. Very sweet and innocent! Also very light with minimal throw.

After things start drying down, the scent begins to bloom!

It is quite nice, but not really my thing...

  5. On the skin: Hmmmmm, this one is better than I thought it would be. Kinda strong. Citrus and....? To me it smells kinda like lime and something slightly sweet. It's really getting good!

Later, I am getting a bit of incense now along with the lime and maybe a bit of lemon. Slightly aquatic as well. I don't know why, but it makes me think of the Festival of Anuket...

  6. On the skin: Wow, this is strong floral.

Drydown: Ugh, it is so strong and I only put on a dab. The florals are giving me a headache. On the very end of the drydown phase I can definitely smell the tobacco flower. Icky. I think it is the gardenia though that started the headache. Ouch.

  7. Honeyed flowers and peaches! Mmmmm!

The honeyed flower scent in this one reminds me a lot of To Helen and Flower Moon. Pretty nice! I think I would be happy with a decant though because I don't see myself wearing this kind of scent too often. I would prefer to go to Philommedes for my peaches!

  8. On the skin: Hmmmm, I was hoping for a bit more vanilla from this one. Darn, I mostly smell rose and jasmine with a tiny hint of sweetness that may or may not be vanilla.

On the drydown: The vanilla shows its presence a bit more, but sadly the florals really do drown it on my skin...

  9. Oooooh! Red musk is normally a death note on me, but I hope that this one behaves because the rest of the notes sound excellent!

On the skin: Mmmmm! Chocolate plum musk! And root beer? Very strange! It casts a lovely scent aura that carries no hint of root beer. I am loving this one!!

On the drydown: This one smells sooooo wonderful! It reminds me of another scent, but for the life of me I can't figure out which.

  10. On the skin: Whoa, that is honeysuckle! I am almost not sure if I can smell any of the other notes!

On the drydown: Oh, I am not sure if I like this one so much anymore. The honeysuckle sweetness has faded and now I am getting something a bit bitter... black tea? It is a plasticky bitter though...

  11. On the skin: Smells kind of.... sweet lemony? Farther away, it smells less lemony, but still nice and sweet. Nice!!

Drydown: Pretty much the same smell from application to drydown. It is so sweet though, that I am not sure if I can handle it for long periods of time..

  12. On the skin: Juniper and.....? It is a deep juniper scent. Very interesting.

After a bit the juniper is joined by incense and what I have come to think of as myrrh. It becomes incensey and begins to remind me slightly of the Warrior Queen Zenobia. The dry down is pretty nice!!

  13. On the skin: oooh! Nice Rose! I like this one even though I have grown to dislike many florals.

It doesn't really change much from application to drydown. Nice, but I don't think I would wear something like this very often.

  14. On the skin: Wow! Strawberry!! This one smells better on me than Strawberry Moon ever did. On me it smells like strawberries with a slight hint of orange. This is a perfumey strawberry though, not really candylike.

Later: Starting to smell a bit floral. Most of the fruit is gone and now I primarily smell what I think must be carnation.

Fades kind of quick, but I think I might want to try this one again. I quite like it actually!
