On the skin: Whoa, grapefruit and kumquat! Citrus overload! Very nice! This seems like a very true to life citrus scent and would be great in spring and summer!
After a bit, the citrus mellows out a bit, but it is still definitely all I can smell.
This is not what I was expecting from something called Night Gaunt. It is quite pleasant, but I don't think I will ever need any more than an imp. I guess we shall see.

On the skin: Dirt? It smells very strongly of dirt, yet that isn't one of the notes at all....
After awhile, the dirt fades and I can smell a fizzy apricot scent. Very weird. It smells a bit sweeter, but with a slight hint of dirt.
I have no idea what to think about this one. Ah, well.
-ETA- Just retested this one and it is definitely not for me. It has a weird funkiness to it that just.... smells weird.
-
On the skin: Very clean. Smells like a fresh soap.
-
On the skin: Sweet and feminine. I am definitely getting a creamy floral. It reminds me of this rose gelato I loved in Italy. I think this is very tasty!! I don't remember liking it this much the last time I tested this imp.
-
On the skin: Very floral. I was hoping for a bit more orchid, but I am not getting much of that. It is a sweet floral, but not one of my favorites. Definitely going to swaps.
-
On the skin: Strong, perfumey, and a sour soapy floral. Very strange and not at all what I was expecting. I am afraid that I really don't like this one at all.
-
On the skin: Sweet and slightly resiny. A bit smokey, but I actually like it. Very good! I think this one would smell great on my SO, but I haven't had a chance to attack him with it yet.

Okay, I have two different imps of Hermia and both are extremely different in color. I don't think it is because of aging, since I received both imps around the same time..... Anyways, on to the reviews.
Bright Orange imp: On my skin this smells very..... cakey? A spicy yet slightly floral and sweet cake. Very tasty. Sooooooo good! Doesn't seem to morph much. I am seriously liking this one.
Light yellow, almost clear imp: Whoa! Honeysuckle and bubblegum? Completely different than the one above.
I have a feeling that the second imp is the actual Hermia. I wish I knew what the other one was though because it is seriously amazing.

On the skin: Hello, Lavender! Whoa that is strong! I think there is also something slightly citrusy.....
Dry down: The lavender mellows out a bit. Becomes kinda sweet actually and reminds me a bit of TKO. Only with a sweet citrus instead of the vanilla.
I like this better than I remember when I first tried it when it came out.

The first time I tried this scent, I really didn't like it. I just received an imp though and thought that I would try it again... So, now I remember why I didn't like it. It turns completely leather on my skin. However, smelling it now, it reminds me exactly of how my SO used to smell when we first started dating. He had this leather jacket that he would always wear. Now, smelling this scent on my skin, I just feel so comforted and peaceful.
Okay, so of course I had to attack the SO with this one and...
Instant love!! On him it smells deliciously of leather and vanilla. I think that he needs to bathe in this. Oh, wow. Next order I make, he is getting a bottle. :love!:

On the skin: Redwoods and something kind of smokey. Interesting....
After a bit it begins to smell..... sweeter. Still redwoods, but there is definitely less smoke and more sweet. Yay!
The dry down for this scent is quite interesting and I think I will have to test it again. I love the redwood smell! Going to have to get the SO to try this one as well since he grew up in the redwoods.

'09 version:
Ooooh! The version last year turned into plastic immediately, but this one.... Wow! A light vanilla with airy blossoms. After a bit, the blend becomes mostly vanilla. So light.
Uh, oh.... it is starting to get a playdoh tinge.....
I am going to have to test this one again. It has so much potential.
'11 version:
On the skin: Again a light vanilla with light blossoms. Maybe a slight ozone wind feel to it. Annnnnnd then it becomes playdoh on me. *sigh*
This just isn't for me.
-
On the skin: Dirt and white snow. And something green.
Whoa, this turns major aquatic on my skin. Ouch.....
-
Pink, lank, and warm: grapefruit, yuzu, tuberose, peony, violet leaf, pikaki, Indian frankincense, and tonka.
On the skin: lots of grapefruit and florals. Such a spring scent!
After a bit, things turn kind of bitter and quite tart! This one does not like my skin. -
On the skin: Pine pitch and clove. Strangely good....
After a bit the pitch mellows out and the clove starts to turn bitter. Kinda sad, I want it to not change from the first stage. My skin chemistry hates this one.

'09 Version:
Wow, there is some seriously tasty hot cocoa in this scent. After a bit this scent becomes all sweet cinnamon on me. And then it fades? So quickly? I think I need to test this one a bit more...

On the skin: Soapy and kinda astringent. Citrus!!
After a bit, the soapiness fades, but the astringent smell never goes away. Not for me.
-
On the skin: Herbal with something a bit deeper.... And some floral.
This scent is very strange. The scent shifts and takes on a candy sweetness. Crazy Scent!!

'09 version
On the skin: Oooh! Incense! Mmmmm! It isn't bad! Sadly the SO doesn't like this one.
Seems to fade kinda quick and turns bitter. Not so nice now.
-
On the skin: Pine and a floral that must be the narcissus. Also, a coldness that is in the lab's snow scents.
Interesting, but not really my thing.

On the skin: Herbal astringent smell. I am not sure if this scent is all that good on my skin. I can smell a bit of mint as well.

On the skin: Citrus and something green... Very strange. I am afraid that this one is very headache inducing for me.... Not good for me....
After an hour or so, this scent has turned into an effervescent/musky lemon scent. Not much throw, but very interesting.
