On the skin: Fir, myrrh, and.... Hmmmm. A very strong woodsy scent. After a bit, it is all fir on me. Can't smell anything else...
Not for me. *sigh*
-
On the skin: Lime, neroli, white musk.... A light musk with a slightly soapy hint and some lime. Not too bad, but I am not sure if it is one of my favorites.
-
On the skin: Very sweet! I would have thought there was orange in this blend!! I like how the snowball note ever so slightly makes this blend pop! Very good! I think I can also smell the lily and the sweetness must be the cardamom. I am liking this one, but I will need to try it again just to make sure...
-
On the skin: At first I get.. lilac and something woodsy. There is also something slightly sour yet that is making me feel kinda sick. I was hoping for a bit more vanilla.
I really can't wear this one.
-
On the skin: Florals. These are not friendly florals on my skin. These are harsh headachey florals with a sour undernote. This just does not smell good at all on me.
-
On the skin: Whoa! I am getting a large blast of licorice! A very sweet licorice. After a bit, I get some of the florals.
It is nice and interesting, but I am afraid that I can't stand licorice... Just the smell of it... Eeep.
-
This one is quite heavy on the black orchid!! Mmmm! It smells quite similar to Black Orchid, but I think that I like that one better...
-
Wow! This one is just really sweet! Beeswax! Slightly smokey, but mostly just sweet. And slightly orangey? Weird. Not bad.
-
On the skin: Loads of cardamom!! Whoa! I really like this one! Cardamom and woods. Kinda rootbeerish. Very interesting. Will need to test some more!
-
This one was one of the first blends containing amber that I ever liked! It was smooth and kinda powdery, but overall quite pleasant! Didn't get much orange blossom....
Sadly, after a bit, this blend became kinda bitter and sour. Huh.... Ah, well.
-ETA-
It's either the amber or the orange blossom that turns off on my skin. I am beginning to think it is the amber that is the culprit. It adds an old bitter edge that reminds me of a soap my grandmother had. Not for me at all.
-
Mmmmmm! Clove and orange! Mostly orange at first. Quite like this one! Pretty good throw as well!
Eeeeeep! After a bit, I start to smell the cumin. *sigh* Never liked the smell of cumin all that much. Icky.
-EDIT- Whoa! Complete change and now it is all licorice! Eeewwwww!
-
Crazy interesting!! Definitely getting the slasher part of this scent. After a bit, the slash fades and it becomes a rich, lovely, woody blend. Kind of sweet. Interesting. Still not sure what to make of it. Total wood sweetness after awhile. This might be my favorites of the Ode to Mars series.
-
Huh. I can't really smell any one note. Kinda effervescent with some sweetness... Quite good!! I like it!
-
Mostly patchouli, frankincense, and juniper... Kind of bitter. It turns out icky, strong, and quite medicinal on me. Not my type of scent at all...
-
Immediately on the skin I get a rancid milk note. The good thing though, is that the note disappears within a few minutes! Now I am left with a blackberry aquatic scent. Very weird.
I kind of like it, but I don't think it is for me.... I can't see myself wearing this very often. I should know better by now than to want a scent with milk notes...
-
I just couldn't bring myself to skin test this one. There is the very earthy vetiver note and not much else I can smell.
-
Huh.... Reading the notes, I am pretty sure I get along with all except for the caraway. Not really sure what it smells like normally, but I am pretty sure that it dominates the first stage of this scent. It is a bitter wood. Almost like.... rye bread!! Yep. That is definitely it. It doesn't change at all from application to dry down on my skin.
-
I couldn't put this one on my skin. Still feeling kind of sick to my stomach and this is the first one I have tested that has made me feel even more ill.... Quite bitter and smokey. Not for me.

Hello musky tangerines!!
On me this is a very light scent, but it is absolutely wonderful!! This one is definitely a keeper!
-ETA- Huh, sadly this doesn't smell as good as it used to on me. Instead, the tangerines fade quite quickly and the rest is just light and musky. It is still good, but I am afraid that it just isn't for me anymore.

A spicy woodsy scent! I am loving this! I can definitely pick out the cedar, but everything else just blends together so perfectly!! It is amazing! Kind of reminds me of Diable en Boite, but that was redwood instead of cedar.
This is a manly blend in my opinion and I may just have to pick up a bottle for the SO!!
-
On the skin: This is quite faint like the Female... Instead of the vanilla leather sweetness of the Female, I am getting loads of clove on this one. It isn't bitter though! It is a soft clove (probably softened with the leather like in the Female), with a hint of patchouli and sandalwood. I am not getting any metal from this! It is pretty good! I think that one night I am going to have to attack the SO with this one while I wear the Female....
I know I have smelled something very similar to this one, but for the life of me, I have no idea what it was!! I have a feeling it was one of the most recent Yules....

On my skin: A sweet vanilla with a hint of something that I think must be leather. Instant love!!
A very rich sweetness! It does not have a strong throw though... I am not getting any floral or moss.
After a bit, the leather gets a bit more noticeable on me. This is a smoooooooth leather. But there is still a lot of vanilla to keep this blend sweet! This kind of reminds me of what Bow and Crown of Conquest smells like on the SO! Only BACC is a bit stronger. I am really liking this one!!
This is sooooo good, but so faint! Well, I guess it has only been 24 hrs since I received my bottle, but I thought that was enough time for it to settle.
-
On my skin: Huh, I don't think this one smells so good on me. I would love to attack my SO with it though. At first it was kinda spicy, but on me all I can smell after a bit is a green, lime floral. Quite a change! I wonder which of the notes was making it smell so nice and spicy at the beginning...

A complex, voluptuous scent that captures the robust beauty and of the Italian Renaissance: lemon, red currant, wisteria, red rose petals, heady jasmine, Florentine orris root, waterlily, red sandalwood, violet plum, and violet leaf. This one seems like lime on my skin. Effervescent lime. After a bit I can really smell the florals. It isn't so bad, but it doesn't really wow me...

On the skin: Definitely floral with some greenness. This fades pretty quickly on me. It is nice, but I don't think I would ever wear it.
