This oil is a very dark brown in color. It's thick and a little sticky. I like it much better now that I did when just sniffing the bottle at DD. In the bottle, it is a dark earthy smell. A sweetish dry patchouli, tobacco, musk, amber, darjeeling?, benzoin?, lavender? Reminds me in feel of blends such as Uncertain Horror or Scattered Gloom, Lunar Eclipse, Penumbra, On Darkness, etc.

I'm not a huge fan of coffee scents, so I didn't skin test or purchase this. In the bottle it was strong black coffee.

A tetramorph is a symbolic arrangement of four differing elements. The term is derived from the Greek tetra, meaning four, and morph, shape. So I'm trying to smell for four different things but not coming up with them! Beeswax and possibly a little of a woody note. I mistook it for sweet incense at first.

This smells like straight up vanilla cake to me. Edit: 6/15 After wearing Madame Lupin by Arcana today, I am thinking that CD023 smells a LOT like her...
-
I am also getting sugary buttercream from this, with a touch of lemon. One of my favorites from the numbered prototypes!
-
I am also picking up the metal or ozone notes in this as well as some aloe, green tea, or lemon. It reminds me a little bit of embalming fluid.
-
This scent has a very strong throw for me. Spicy -- could be carnation, cardamom... and maybe a golden amber or musk. I'm getting a little hint of cassia as well.
-
Very salty lime and tequila to my nose. Pretty much straight up margaritas.
-
This is well blended. I'm going to guess at notes of apple, hyacinth, lotus, freesia, or lily.
-
Banana!! Teeny bit of greenness in there too.
-
This is a very faint scent to my nose, but is a sweet and light incense.
-
To me this one smells like tobacco, sarsparilla, and maybe clove or carnation.
-
My nose is not very sophisticated when it comes to dirt type smells. For me this is very similar to graveyard dirt.

Added photos of Strawberry Moon, June Gloom, St. John's Eve, Litha and the bats my Flickr as well as the BPAL Fiends flickr pool (where you are all invited to share your photos of anything bpal related -- MNS, Will Call, etc.!)

I could smell Red Musk and Plum. Reminded me a lot of Mme. Moriarty or Spawn of the She-Devil, but I only sniffed the bottle.
-
This was pure musk to me. I was also thinking black musk as opposed to red.
-
This one was very tangy from the citrus and I could smell the white sandalwood. Did not skin test.
-
I only sniffed from the bottle and it was mostly banana cream!
-
(They make dog toys that smell like that too.) I sniffed this at DD but did not skin test. It was very sweet and I could smell corn and coconut. I kept double checking the notes, going -- "what, it doesn't list coconut!!"

Added photos of Vintages and Prototypes from Clearing out the Cobwebs II to Flickr. The inquests (Bah, Humbug, etc.) had their normal labels. Also added an imp of Delousing Powder and a 5ml of Ecstasy of Passion (thank you Silvertree!!)

Bitch is a whole lot of geranium. Maybe a teeny bit of verbena. I have been wearing it in my scent locket all week because of PMS headaches and it helps IMMENSELY.
-
In the bottle: Lavender (of course!) and verbena. Maybe a little peach. It has a bright, tart, fruity edge. Could be both the lemon verbena and the peach. There is a deep bottom that could be the sage. Not getting any tansy, cypress, or life everlasting. Wet on skin: The verbena is coming out to play but the lavender is keeping pace. Dry on skin: Lavender and Lemon verbena. Relaxing and happy. Purple and yellow. Teeny bit of sage in the background. very nice!!!

In the bottle: Strawberries! And rose. Sad that I can't smell the huckleberries. I have lived in the Huckleberry capitol forever (we have huckleberry EVERYTHING -- soap, ice cream, jam, jelly, pies, etc.) I go huckleberry picking often. So I am very familiar with their scent, and it is not here to my sad nose. :/ Wet on skin: The frankincense is coming out a little, making it more dark and smoky. The anise is making a bit of an appearance and the violet is also becoming apparent. The strawberry and rose are still there, but everyone is blending together now. Dry on skin: Darker and deeper than the sniff from the bottle. So far everyone is playing equally. Love!

In bottle: Bright tart berry goodness. This reminds me of a juice or a candy but I can't think of what exactly at the moment. Maybe it will come to me later. Sweet, yet tart, and a little chalky. Like maybe bottlecaps candy?? Wet on skin: Tartness goes away a bit. Sweet candy. Dry on skin: Same as wet. Most things don't morph on me. I was hoping for more patchouli.... but it is still very lovely!

In bottle: Helllooo Sassafras! And who is your friend? Mandrake? Goats rue? Quite the odd friend. Wet on skin: Whew. Your weird friend has left the building. Dry on skin: Mostly sassafras. Sweet and creamy. Maybe the fig is sweetening it up a bit? I can't really detect any geranium or juniper, let alone Goats Rue or Mandrake (not sure what those smell like, to be honest.) It smells MUCH BETTER on the skin than in the bottle. I was scared for a second.
