This is referring to the Goblin Storytime version of Snow Angel. In the bottle: Lemonade and peach tea mixed together. With a lot of sugar dumped in. Yum. Wet on skin: Mostly lemon. Dry on skin: Lemon is still the top note. Sparkling sugar. But the peach and tea give it depth and ground it a bit so the bottom note is a little darker and deeper. As it dries more, the notes all mix together seamlessly. Now I can sense the snow! The lemon has dwindled a lot. Now it is a snowy black tea with a lot of sugar and a little bit of peach and lemon.

In bottle: The minty version of Love's Philosophy. With more mint. But the creamy vanilla is pretty much spot on for LP. Wet on skin: Creamy smooth vanilla mint. Buttery. Dry on skin: Hmm, kind of an odd plastic smell. This is the first time that BPAL's vanilla has done that to me. I'm going to chalk it up to hormones and try it again after aging a bit and during a different time in my cycle.

In the bottle: Very strong spiced mulled red wine and mead. This very much reminds me of red wine mixed with Chaucer's Mead after mulling on the stove with the spice packet. Wet on skin: The wine smell goes away almost immediately. I am left with honey, cinnamon, clove, and a teeny bit of orange. Dry on skin: Pretty much the same as wet. Lovely!!!! I am glad I ended up with two bottles of this. A keeper!!

Got my inquests and added photos to my flickr page!! Haven't put them in their own section yet, running late. I'll try to do that later from work. edit: Oh, I added photos of the new pen too.

I've had Hand of Glory in my scent locket for a while now -- and it's totally beeswax there. Hanerot Halalu is also glorious and is be a back up bottle worthy scent for me.
-
Mmmm. This is all heavy syrupy molasses and earthy sage, sweetgrass, cedar, and patchouli. I am not getting any cinnamon leaping out at me which is ok -- it is SO beautiful. I had to get a back up bottle of the bath oil!

I was blessed with a goblin squirt of this! Floral and wet dirt with a teeny hint of sweet sticky orange!! I love my squirt but I'm not really into the dirt scents. I love the idea and the images that it evokes, however.

Autumn is usually my favorite. I really wanted to love this spray to death but it is a leetle too smoky. Samhain remains my true love!
-
Oddly enough, the room spray doesn't smell like a single one of it's components to me (and I adore each and every one of them, so the spray should equal TRUE LOVE!) I can't even describe what I did get -- it is not bad at all, don't get me wrong, but it isn't the vanilla amber orange spice goodness that I hoped for. I am letting it age to see what happens.

I am not getting any cold or wintery vibes from this one at all. It is mostly floral, orchid and honeysuckle.
-
I am waiting for Spring to come about so I can use this in earnest. It is not my favorite of the four seasons, sadly, but it is of course very lovely if you like florals. Non-demoninational (if that makes sense) light floral.

Another of my first bath oils from the post, and soo soo lovely. I love vanilla and this doesn't disappoint. But this is much deeper and darker than I expected. The bourbon vanilla is so lovely and doesn't really make me think chaste thoughts...

I love the bath oils! This one I expected to be patchouli/citrus (a combination that I adore!) but the red musk surprised me. It reminds me a lot of Mme. Moriarty or Snake Charmer. I love to slather in it after I get out of the shower and bask in the lovely scent all day. Long lasting and large throw.

This is a very foody and delicious scent, and exactly the thing that my boyfriend HATES to smell (unless I'm baking!) I didn't have any leftover from my decant circle for me (weep) but that's ok since I wouldn't be able to use it in the house anyway. Not without fits from HIM. If you like sweet foody scents -- probably for you. I got mostly caramel and marshmallow milk chocolate from the bottle sniff.

I expected to love love LOVE this one but can't seem to warm up to it. I love cedar, clove, patchouli, fir... so maybe it is the dry leaves that are throwing it off? It seems very dark and dry, but not in a spicy, warm, woody way like I was expecting. I'm letting it age a bit to see what happens with it.

This one was a surprise to me -- I expect more of a dark, dirty smell and instead it is fresh and floral. I didn't have any left over for me from my decant circle, so didn't really get to test it properly in the air. I couldn't afford to get a whole bottle of it before it left town but I wanted to! Very lovely, and the bottle art was FABULOUS.

I am not getting a lot of fruit from mine, but of course am certainly getting the sweetness! Not much to say about it, it is very very close to the 2007/2008 Sugar Skull perfume. Like all of the room sprays, it is fabulous and lasts forever on pillows/blankets/linens.
-
I have the perfume as well, but the room spray seems much sweeter to me. Sweet, smoky, and lovely but not used very much at my house because the Samhain has me in its clutches!!
-
Someone picked this up at Bat's Day for me but I have been too busy to test most of my perfumes, let alone write reviews!! Not much to say about this one -- the sprays are fabulous, Snow White is fabulous. If you love Snow White and you like room sprays, this is a no brainer. Long lasting and very true to the perfume. Pure !!

I didn't get to try this last year, but I managed to snag a bottle right away this year! To me this is a chilly winter scent. Evergreens, fruit, and a teeny hint of floral. It is very lovely and I would be wearing it every day except -- my boyfriend seems to be allergic to something in it. When I wore it for the first time (I put it all over right after getting out of the shower) and then got in the car with him, he immediately get very stuffed up and started sneezing. I am going to have to wear it when he is out of town!! It was even worse (for him!) that it is long lasting and has a pretty large throw.

This was the surprise favorite of the three foot scrubs. I'm getting HONEY HONEY HONEY vanilla HONEY sandalwood HONEY HONEY. I can't tell there is any peppermint in here. Maybe a little spice from the carnation. This one is pure LOVE for me. I am going to hoard it!!! As others have said, this is MUCH more moisturizing butter than scrub. I've been using it in the shower on my super dry winter skin and while it seems like it might be TOO buttery and oily at first, once you get out and dry off, the butter soaks right in and leaves you soft and smooth all over.

Talaria is mostly peppermint on me. As others have said, this is MUCH more moisturizing butter than scrub. I've been using it in the shower on my super dry winter skin and while it seems like it might be TOO buttery and oily at first, once you get out and dry off, the butter soaks right in and leaves you soft and smooth all over.

This was the scrub I was looking forward to the most and thinking I would love -- and it is wonderful. But not my favorite. To me this smells like the Halloweenie 2008 scent, Hueso de Santo, and is much foodier than I would have expected. I expected more pomander / spice, and instead it is sweet orange cookie. Still fabulous, just not what I was expecting. As others have said, this is MUCH more moisturizing butter than scrub. I've been using it in the shower on my super dry winter skin and while it seems like it might be TOO buttery and oily at first, once you get out and dry off, the butter soaks right in and leaves you soft and smooth all over.

On me, this blend really did seem to smell like lettuce and vegetables. I'm going to give it a chance to age to see if it improves and brings out the honey and fig.

Where is my patchouli??? *jealous* I am getting mostly cocoa out of this. No spice. No patchouli. No caramel. I weep! My nose, it is borked?
