Oh. My. I can't even tell you how much I love this one. To me this smells just like the wind in the Stockhlom archipelago. I always used to sneak out really early before anyone else woke up and sit watching the sun rise out of the sea. The wind would pick up just a little and the sun would move over the rock and warm it up. And this is what the wind would smell like; sea and summer and trees and sun. Beth you are a genius

    Input, please!

Name: Malin URL: no haven't got one Photo: the best I can do from here.. Sin of choice: wrath and sloth for sure, sometimes at the same time.. Virtue you embody Loyalty and honesty Astrological Info Sagittarius....I can never remember the finer details - I'll add them when my brain has rebooted How you found out about BPAL: from Red Jezebel's thread on the lush forum Any comments you'd like to add about the Lab or life in general: I've been searching for years for scents I can wear without have huge allergic reactions/smell like everone else in the room/get mightily annoyed by naff ad campaigns and then I stumbled upon the glorious Lab. The scents are truly original and heavenly, Elizabeth is saintly and everything about the whole affair is just feeding my twisted little mind. Inspiring stuff.

    Circe

First sniff: quite strong and sweet. Smells really posh and sophisticated. On: It stays quite strong for a bit, but it starts to round off. I get tropical flowers and fruit and waterfalls, but in a very upmarket way. Hint of spiciness. Drying: I can't make my mind up - I like it loads, then I don't... Probably need some time to figure this one out. Dry: Still confused; I keep thinking that it's too "grown up" smelling for me

First sniff: this is way too sweet for me..smells like rose and honey cake! On: Pretty strong and sweet, but I'm liking it.. There's something smooth and buttery coming through. Drying: More smoothness, a hint of spice and settling into a warm round slightly powdery scent. Much later: I really didn't think this would be me at first, but the more the scent settled the more I sniffed myself happily. At the end of the day I was in love; warm, spicy, creamy kinda eatable roses. Innocent at first glance but quite naughty. Edited to add that I have been wearing this for over a week, and I'm completely in love with it now; sweet and spicey and warm...and just sooo delightful!!!

    Tears

Right, my 1st review.... This makes me think of a big empty room, rain hanging in the air...there's a certian sense of loneliness. I can't pick out any notes at all here, it's dried quite powdery and sophisticated and the overall feeling is calming and comforting, a bit like after a really good cry. On a really personal note, as soon as I opened the bottle it reminded me of my mother and grandmother, not that either of them smells like this (what I can recall). I had a very difficult relationship with my mother and I haven't seen her (or my grandmother) for coming up to 20 years now. I don't think about her very often, but today I can't get her out of my mind... I think that it's a gorgeous scent - but am still trying to figure out if it's me..
