When I first put this on, I could smell the Cherry Coke type scent very strongly. And I loved it! I love cherries, so of course I think they smell fabulous. But it also has a sweet, deep scent as well, something that smells very...exciting. Two minutes later, it turned to baby powder on me. This has amber in it, and if I wear anything with amber, it will overwhelm with powder any of the other notes. I'm very sad. If you don't have a problem with amber or any of the other notes, this really is awesome. I envy you, you Black Phoenix wearing chicas!

Oddly, I didn't get the coffee note that others got. I got straight up tonka when I first sniffed it. It mellows out and the jasmine becomes more prominent. After a few hours of wear, it's a clean, incensy scent. To me, it smells like an exotic scented soap you would buy in Chinatown or an import shop. Perhaps you'd look at the wrapper and never know what was in it because you couldn't read that language. I don't know how else to explain it. It has a Far East scent, a Far East that you read about in picture books when you were a little kid. I think this would be a great scent for someone who likes deep, incense-y blends, but who wants something a little different than a High Mass or Buddhist Temple scent. I think it's the tonka that makes this so unique.

This is uber-floral, so floral phobics, this scent is probably not for you. However for me, mmmm. This is a honeysuckle/jasmine wonderland. If anyone has ever been near a honeysuckle or jasmine bush in bloom at night, you can imagine. It is very full and strong and absolutely beautiful. I put some in the cleavage area, and while I'm getting a lot of mileage out of it, it might be just a tad too strong. Next time I will apply a little lower and it should be perfect! I can't say enough good things about it. It's very haunted New Orleans. Lovely!

When I first put this on, I could really smell the cinnamon. It has faded down to be very faint, however. I can't pick out any of the other notes very well. After a few hours, it reminds me of babies. Not a smelly baby, heh, but a nice clean baby right after bathtime. I have no idea why or what ingredient could remind me of that, but it really does smell just like the top of a baby's head. It's a very delicate oil, once the intense cinnamon in the beginning calms down. I could see someone really liking this if they need to have a very toned down fragrance, maybe coworkers who are scent sensitive, etc.

This smells dark on me. I'm getting heavy incense (myrrh) and major orchid. The cypress I cannot pick out at all and very faintly, a cherry'ish scent which is probably the currant. I'm not sure what to think about this one for myself. I think on the right person this scent could really knock 'em out. I just don't think my chemistry is conducive to letting the other notes flow like they should. Damn it, though, because it really is a fantastic scent. I'm going to try this again another week, though, because I want to be sure it's not hormonal!

When I first put this on, I thought there might be too much rose in it. I love rose, it's probably my favourite scent. But too much can cause the nose to ache a little and ends up killing bystanders. When it dried though, it dried to real magnificence. It was a perfect kind of red rose, and the sharp tang of the pomegranate pushed through it. I couldn't believe it. I kept sniffing myself all day. It lasted a good eight hours and all I could think of was "Pretty!" It was perfectly pretty-for a pretty girl with pretty pink cheeks and red lips. A woman in a pre-French Revolution Boucher painting would wear this, I imagine. I think this will be my first bottle.

Ok, this is a complicated scent, I think. At one moment it seems to be there and I get a strong whiff of it, then it recedes a little and I think it's gone....so interesting. It's a floral, no doubt about it, but there is more than a hint of green in it. It's that come and go quality that is intriguing me. It smells beautiful, and almost honeysuckle'ish? No... Ah, just like it's namesake. You think She's gone for a moment until She comes a calling and makes Herself known with no doubt. It's really lovely. Anyone who likes florals and greens would probably really enjoy this.

This scent would be perfect for anyone who likes sweet candy'ish smells. When I put it on, it smelled like a cherry tootsie pop to me. After about half an hour it mellowed into what I could only describe as a shiny, red, cherry candy-coated apple. Mmmm. I'm not really into food scents for wearing, but this really smelled delish. 12/9: I've put this on again and now I can really smell the wine. I will have to amend my description to include it. A sparkly, bubbly sweet white wine and a shiny, cherry candy covered apple. I'll still say I'm not into food scents, but I really love this.

This is my first review, so be kind! I chose to wear this oil first (out of my very first order!), because I seriously need grounding, and this oil seemed like it might be tailor made for that. I cannot pick out any particular scent. I'm reading everyone else's reviews, and you guys are saying "patchouli", but wow, this isn't any kind of patchouli I've ever smelled. It definately doesn't smell like 'dirty hippie' patchouli. I detect an incense-y smell, I think it's frankincense. I really like the way this smells. I think this is a blend that would be absolutely perfect for any meditation or relaxation work. I have felt wonderfully grounded since I put it on four hours ago. It's still going strong, not much fade-age. I will definitely use this again, and I think it might be something really great for people who can't sleep because of anxiety. Things that normally really get my goat have been only mild irritations today. Wow.
