In the bottle: The white grapefruit and neroli are what I smell initially. I can pick up on the green tea, jasmine and white ginger after a few more sniffs. The iris isn't very strong, nor is the honeysuckle. I can just barely smell the tonka (for some reason, it in general isn't one I can smell much). On me: Neroli and white grapefruit are still strong, though the green tea and jasmine are about equally as strong. The iris makes an appearance, lending a soft floral note to the whole thing. It smells more like a good springtime or early summer scent than anything else. I'm glad I bought it.

In the bottle: Patchouli and nicotiana -- I can't smell anything else, at all. On me: The sandalwood and blood wine come out with the scent, I can't pick up the amber on me, and the patchouli and nicotiana are still strong. After an hour or so, the patchouli and nicotiana had faded somewhat, leaving a musky sort of smell. It's a very sexy smell, one that I'd have to reserve for an evening out.

I don't know, but it doesn't like me either. I can't place anything in particular in the smell in the bottle, or even on me... (My nose clearing up would be fantastic, any time now.) Once it dried on me, it turned into something too strong for my liking, and not the best of scents to be so strong. I'll probably give it another shot, but it will most likely go in the swaps pile.

Received Fenris Wolf for Christmas from a guy I used to date per Secret-Santa gift exchange. (Ironic, isn't it?) Out of all of the ones he chose out of the list I provided of imps I'd like to try, he said that he liked the scent description of this one the best. Oddly enough, it's one of my favourites, too. In the imp: Rosewood like whoa, red musk coming in second. I can't even smell the sandalwood or the amber. On me: The rosewood is still there, but it's nicely balanced by the musk and sandalwood. The amber lends a somewhat sweet note, softening the woods so they don't overpower everything else in the room. It's a very masculine scent on me, but that's part of why I like it so much. It's also one that my friends like a lot, too -- last weekend when I got in the car with two of them to go to lunch, I got a "You smell good!" from one of them, and the other agreed. This is on my list of bottles to buy when the imp runs out.

In the imp: I really smell the sandalwood, ozone, and hint of red wine. On me: I wasn't so crazy about it when I first put it on, but I kept smelling it throughout the day and -- I love it. Normally, sandalwood tends to be somewhat overpowering of other smells on me, but in this oil it wasn't. I was pleasantly surprised. The ozone and red wine ended up being the most noticeable smell on me, with the burnt grasses and ivy softening it. I'm definitely buying a bottle whenever the imp runs out.

In the bottle: Leather is the strongest note, to my nose. I can't really smell much of the rest, but a hint of rosewood. On me (I can't say as for wet vs dry, as this was a couple of days ago that I wore it so I don't remember anything but dry): I can't smell the leather or the tonka, except for perhaps just a hint. The incense and rosewood are most noticeable. The incense got to be a little much for my liking, but it's still one I'll wear again; I'll probably end up buying a bottle whenever the imp runs out. Revisited, 05/03: I can smell the rosewood more with the leather in the bottle. Wet on me: the rosewood is still strong, with the parchment, woods, and leather coming in second. Dry on me: The rosewood is the top note, parchment, woods, and leather after that, and the tonka brings just a whiff of sweetness to it. The incense isn't coming up very strongly today -- I wonder if when I wore this before it was at a weird time for my body chemistry, because this scent is awesome and I should really think about wearing it more often. ETA, 06/27: I have come to the conclusion what Dee smells like on me: an awesome library. Old books, some leatherbound, a bit of incense, the room they're in -- the shelves, the furniture... I love this scent. I definitely need a big one.

I think you just described how it smells on me, or as close as I could come. I can smell the apple really well in the vial, and when I first put it on. However, the apple faded away within 10-15 minutes of putting it on I found myself liking the scent less and less as the day wore on. Maybe the herbs just don't agree with me? (Or I don't agree with the herbs, as the case may be.) I may have to try it again later, though, get a second opinion on how it is.
