Smells like fresh crushed lemon verbena or scented geranium on application. Matures into a lightly woody scent (cedar?), as though the focus shifts from the leaves to stem of the herb. The fading scent is truly evocative of the name. I'm relieved that this isn't being discontinued.

Best BPALs for SUMMER - is it hot, sweltering, sticky outside?

Circe might be nice. From the site: An incomparably enticing blend of intoxicating aquatic scents and florals. The florals smell like white flowers to my nose. Maybe some waterlily as well? It doesn't seem like the kind of scent that would become too potent in the heat. -
I'm really thrilled by the new selection of scents as well, especially the Mad Tea Party collection! Any news on when the Lab is switching from CCNow? I have the darndest time ordering multiple items with their shopping cart and I definitely want to order more than two items in my next order. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

On me: All black licorice with no citrus scent to temper it. Far too powerful for the first hour. On him: Mellow anise scent with enough lemon to give it a hint of freshness so the sweetness of the anise wasn't cloying. Very nice and lasted for several hours. What a difference body chemistry makes!

"Wet" really is a great description for this scent. On me, it smells as juicy hours later as it does when I first put it on. This is a great scent for those who find most rose scents too strong or grandma-ish.
