At first I smell spiced wine...must be the frankincense...and a metallic tang underneath. If this is leather, it is a very sweet leather...like being wrapped in a cocoon of leather. Absolutely lovely, and very comforting. I have a bottle already!

Only enough in the bottle for a sniff, but what I get out of it is pink bubblegum.

Given the notes listed, I can't see what could go wrong...except all I get from this is craft store potpourri. Sadness.

Ah, one of my favorite scents...it manages to be spicy, fresh, and warm all at the same kind, like a cup of very milky ginger tea. The throw is fairly light and it doesn't last long on me, but that just means I have an excuse to put on more later! Excellent.

Wet I get a fake-fruit candy smell; on the drydown it mellows a bit. It's warm, sort of powdery...I get vanilla, strangely enough. Light and gentle, but not really my thing.

Ack! I don't really get any of the subtlety here that everyone else seems to...on me this smells just like marzipan--oversweet marzipan. Is swap time!

First I start to get herbs, a nice fresh outdoorsy scent...but then the mint comes out and takes over and now I smell like dentist's office. Sigh. Not for me.

I definitely get chocolate, but there's a strong alcoholic feel to it as well, like chocolate liqueur maybe...very strong, possibly too much. We'll see how it does after a bit more aging.

This is a very green scent--freshness and plants and wetness--like being outside at night, but with a tiny bit of sweetness below it, which is probably the wine. I think if a vampire was to walk about and truly enjoy being a vampire, this is the scent of him/her strolling about under the moonlight, waiting...maybe for prey, maybe just because it's night and it's where they live... Very nice.

Wet that is just straight-up man...expensive men's cologne--not overpowering, but definitely male. As it dries down I can smell some of the individual notes better. The lemon peel comes out a bit and it gets more fresh-smelling, as in, here is a man who is freshly showered and ready for business. Slightly more unisex then, but still I think too masculine for me to wear often.

So very evocative, just like being outside digging in a garden, but unfortunately it lasts all of fifteen minutes and is gone completely. I will keep my imp, but I think that is enough for me.

Sniffed this at Bats Day...I really like the concept, but all I could get was an overwhelmingly sour note that drowned out everything else...like cream that sat out for too long and went bad. No imps for me.

It's hard to pick individual notes out of this--it's a warm, dry, well-blended mix of spices, and doesn't really smell like a perfume, more like it's the scent of a person who happens to be traveling along the road, or the scent of the journey itself. My very favorite BPAL!
