Interesting scent, I think the mint is making it go a bit more winter/christmas vs fall. There is enough blend that it isn't going complete candle on me, I'm liking it, but thinking it might be more of a November scent for me.

This had so many notes of WIN in it I had to get a decant, and I knew from opening that if it stayed that awesome it was so bottle worthy. It did! It's all tea and musk and citrus and I am all sorts of swooning!

Very nice. It's very bright and aquatic, it I think that is the Pom + Flowers, but the dirt is there, anchoring it. I really like it, though there is a bit of a sharp green end, but I'm waiting to see if that fades after a bit. Overall though, quite nice . Actually, yeah I can tell already the sharpness is fading, yay! Hopefully the whole thing won't fade .

So this was one of the first bpals I'd ordered in imp form some years ago and it came broken. Now, many years later I have a bottle and I'm so happy I got it! I might amp the florals or something, but it smells too pretty to me to be masculine. I definitely think it's the florals I smell, probably the orchid though it could be the bergamont actually as it's reminding me of Ananya by the body shop which I've had forever.

Oh so Melon! It's quite strong and it has great throw too. This is going to be awesome for the rest of summer I think.

I don't know what it is about this scent, but as others pointed out it just makes you smile. Perhaps not something I'd wear out much, but a great pick up on bad days. There is something....effervescent about it. It's got a sparkly fizz to it like a strawberry fizzy drink or something. Strangely it sort of reminds me of cocopink's pink candy floss.

Well I really didn't like the wet stage as it was SUPER sweet, but it's quite pleasant as it settles and smells quite nice and subtle now. I will have to try it's voodoo properties and will hopefully have the same luck as others as I could seriously use it about now!

I'm definitely seeing where the spice craft store candle comparison is coming in, but as other said, it's a nice candle. Mostly spice on me with maybe a hint of plum. It's staying pretty reasonable on me so I'll probably bring this one out in the fall. Probably not a bottle, but I'll be holding on to they imp to see how it ages as well.

I totally get the red musks from this and it's quite nice, but it smells too much like Dragon's Musk ( a GC I already own) to bother with a LE full bottle. I get the feeling it will age marvelously though and will keep an eye on my imp just in case I need to track it down second hand.

So I have a bit of a head cold, but not enough to stop me smelling this bad boy. When I first put it on it reminded me a bit of Shub, but with less spice. I think it was the sugar cane mixed with ginger. It then gets a bit lighter and more...no floral exactly, but airier, I think it's the Mandarin actually. I suppose if Shub is evil gingersnaps this is like...really friendly nice gingersnaps. I will say the throw is really good, though less on the staying power. When I first put it on I got wafts of scent up to my nose from my arm, and this is me saying this when slightly congested so I think that speaks well to it's throw. I"m not sure how long it stuck around since I was running around work, but now it's practically non-existent, about 4 hours after I put it on.

Hrm for some reason Sunrise with sea monsters comes to me, even though I've never smelt it (though I want to). I think it's probably a combo of the art history background and the folklore (sea monsters makes me think of clash of the titans lol). Then again many of the salons have art and folklore connections so it could easily be many of those. Then again, perhaps Tezcatlipoca who is a trickster god and would fit well with anthropology/folklore and your love of mythology and tricksters. As for me, I was an economics undergrad (though I did consider chemistry) and then got an MBA after working in IT for a couple of years. I work in the non-profit arena at the moment overseas in a warzone. I tend to be seriously nomadic and move a lot. I'm often described as a jack of all trades, I know a little about a lot of things. I love learning and trivia. I love vocabulary! I'm good with computers/tech stuff (a bit of a nerd). I love literature and dystopias and scifi. Most people think I'm older than I am. I am ethnically mixed which results in me looking like many ethnicities (I've gotten everything from Italian to Native American ) I love music and have a wide and eclectic taste, though I'm partial to Indie singer songwriters and anything that has imagination and uniqueness.

in the bottle it is great, on my skin it like disappeared for a second then came back. Very nice and green/white with some sharpness. It's a nice spring scent though I hope the sharpness doesn't stay around too long!

so this was very much CHERRIES for me and I don't like because it reminds me of medicine. My skin chemistry tends to spice things up though so out come woods and lacquer and now it smells like a different kind of herbal medicine. Not my thing so off to a new home.

Hrm I just smelled in the imp but I think I got some on my hands. It's nice and I think a great scent for guys. That said I can see how it might induce headaches down the road....will have to find someone to slather it on to test that theory

Ok I searched the whole thread and I can't find my review of this scent! I don't know how that is possible as 51 is pretty much my favorite Bpal. It's just so clean and sophisticated. I think the melons are more prominent on me, but I just absolutely love it. It's got a mysterious sort of sophistication to it. I suppose it might be more of a "commercial scent", but to me that's a pretty wide categorization. It's not total weird smell to have as a perfume (like say food smells, which aren't typical perfume scents), that's true, but I'd argue it's quite unique in it's own way .

I got this as a frimp in a circle I did and was very excited as it's on my wishlist. I really enjoy the labs citrus scents and this is no exception. It's such a bright nice smell. It's like I can smell the Chesire's grin in this scent. It's so mischevious! I love it! Once I order bottles again, it will definitely be on the list.

I got this as a frimp and I could tell from the minute I opened it I would like it. It smells a citrusy at first, but that goes away after it dries on me. Then it smells similar to my beloved 51 but without the melon roundness to the scent and a bit weaker. It's a very pleasant sent and like most scents it fades rather quickly....stupid skin eating all the precious.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this as this is an all time favorite top 1-2 scent. It is just so lovely and a little sweet, a little juicy, a little heady, a little spicy. It is a complicated scent that's hard to pin down for a complicated women that's hard to pin down

My imp is a bit old but here goes. Wet: It smells pretty strong but I'm not sure what it smells of exactly. It's reminding me of Samhain...probably the patchouli coming out. It's a bit strong dry: it's getting a bit sweeter now, a nice complex scent. overall: it's not bad at dry down but I don't see it being a scent I'd wear much. I'm thinking the patchouli is just too strong a note in it and overpowers the others. I might keep 1 of the 2 imps I have, I'm not sure.

So this imp is about a year old but I haven't reviewed this scent so here goes. In the imp it smelt bright and...I'm not sure, something kinda lurking in there wet it was DIRT...but a kinda warm sweet, slightly foresty dirt It has dried into a nice plesant smell. I was thinking this might be a good scent to sleep in but after reading the description, I think that might be tempting fate. It will be good for when I'm in specific moods, though I don't think it will go on the big bottle list. It does kinda make me want to go out on a crisp fall evening and play the flashlight game we played as kids (I'm blanking on the name).

In the bottle: ok it smells kinda butter, sorta reminds me of popcorn in some way Wet on: WOAH what is that overwhelming fruity floral smell?!?! It's the peach and it is POWERFUL. Dear god. Dry down: ok I'm smelling some of the clove and nutmeg I think but on the whole it's still rather strongly PEACH. It's not bad, just a bit too strong for me. Perhaps it would work as a non skin scent. Well at least it didn't go complete yuck, I suppose that means I can at least try the other pumpkin scents. Since I'm not a huge Peach fan I won't be getting this again, but perhaps it would work as a room scent or in a locket? Not sure.

So my first thought was of course CINNAMON when I first smelt it. I stuck it on and thought...hrmm I have become a snickerdoodle. This is of course not a bad thing...I love snickerdoodles. It was really strong when I put it on...I would say red hot, but it was a bit warmer than a readhot so more like a really cinnamon snickerdoodle. When it dries down it goes very quiet on me and you have to sniff the wrist to smell it. It's all cinnamon on me, but I still think it's nice. I'll be using the imp when I need some warmth but I doubt it's a big bottle for me...I prefer to eat snickerdoodles rather than smell like them...though it would probably make a fantastic winter room scent. ETA: so I think the cinnamon has faded to the point I can kinda smell some of the other notes a bit, but it's pretty faded and fast (which happens a lot to me, my skin EATS smell). This also could be due to the age (around a year old).

So I got an imp of this over a year ago. I'm sure I smelt it and probably tried it on, but I couldn't remember much about it. I had vague memories of thinking it was to strong or something. I just put it on...OMGOMGOMG LOVE! I am completely in love with this. I don't know if it was the aging or not, but my chemistry is in love with this smell. It doesn't go super spicy/overly heady on me like Lust and sometimes snake oil can (usually if I go out dancing or something). It makes sense really since almost all my favorites so far seem to have some form of musk. I'm not sure about Dragon's blood since this is my first experience with it, but so far so good!

In the bottle: ug so sweet...and fake cherryish...I hate fake cherry flavoring of any kind...too much like medicine Wet: well still cherries, but I'm detecting some subtle spice underneath Dry: cherries are still there, but there is a note that reminds me of Snow white...I think it's the note that goes a bit bad on me. I love snow white and plan to buy a bottle but it does go a bit wierd on me (bit powdery I think) (not enough to turn me off of it though). Anyways. No thank you. I hate cherry smells. Oddly I tend to like oatmeal, honey milk soap stuff, but this doesn't smell anything like that to me...perhaps I'm amping something that makes it smell like cherries....hrmmmm, I wonder if it's the honey....

So I couldn't wait to try this scent and it was the only bottle I ordered for my first/second order. Bottle: Woah that's strong...hrm something is bringing to mind cough syrup or something medicinal...don't know why. Wet: Pretty much the same as the bottle. I think my skin is super amping the clove so it's uber strong. Drydown: It's still pretty much all clove on me I think. So I couldn't figure out what this reminded me of even though I knew the smell (it was the clove duh) until I was like waaait it smells like Micheal's (the craft store). Then I realized it reminds me of really strong potpourri...must be all that clove. I don't dislike it but I think it will take some getting used to. I'm going to try it later to see if my chem changes and it's more than just clove on me. I just put it on a while ago so I'll see if it morphs any in the next hour. Can't slather this one whewww ....Burns the nostrils if you aren't carfeul.
