I get some pine like scent too at the wet stage and then the orange comes out a bit more and there is some creaminess underneath but it's more bright at the moment. Nice scent and certainly different. I hope the ambers and honey strengthens to make it a bit softer, but overall it's not bad.

dark and subtly spicy. Nothing too overpowering which is good because based on the notes I was....afraid.
-
Intriguing yet again! These weenies are turning out quite complex! I get very very mild non-spicy hints of shub in the background, but it's almost boozy upfront. Once again, will take me a bit to figure out all it's layers, but it's pleasant enough at the moment.

Interesting and complex! It's rather floral sweet. It's not cloying, but it is...heavy in a way. It's a...thick scent if that makes sense. Will have to wear a couple of times to decide if it's me or not, but it certainly is interesting.

I don't know what to make of this. I think it must be ambergis since I'm not familiar with it. It's pretty and sweet.....but, odd. Not exactly a soapy quality to it, but something underneath the sweet that's a tad sharp that I can't figure out.... I am intrigued. Will be keeping the decant to experiment.

The Night Hag Visiting The Lapland Witches
V294 replied to invisible iris's topic in Limited Editions
This one was weird at first like I couldn't even smell it, then it got all complex and interesting. I get some pine, but not overwhelmingly so which is nice. It's extremely pleasant. I feel like I'm out for a stroll in the woods in late autumn on a crisp day. Really loving it! -
it's a nice sweet musky scent. Very much enjoying it! nice and clean and soft.

a pretty scent, but a tad too candy sweet for me to need a bottle

mmmm, lime and dragons blood, with a hint of cedar. Very nice! So far the cedar isn't going crazy for me like others seem to get. I hope it stays that way!

This is a very interesting scent. It starts off with a strong coffee note, but that fades unfortunately! It's very unique, but it turns into a sexy tobacco leather scent. It's really nice and I think I might love this on a guy!
-
Seems sort of sweet and sharp to me. Probably all the white florals and musk. It's not bad, but probably a bit too sharp for me to wear a lot.
-
hrm kinda reminds me of lime sugar gummies or jellybeans. Actually makes me a bit hungry for sugar. Not a bad scent acutally, I kinda like it, but not something I need a bottle of.
-
very effervescent and pretty. Nice amount of sweet and fruity, not too overwhelmingly apple. very nice!
-
Golden apple with amber, hibiscus, carnation, frankincense, golden spiced tea, ginger, and champaca flower. My first reaction was oh wow because it's so bright and pretty and....it has zing (ginger?). I really like it! Darn it! too many weenies I'm liking!
-
kind of sweet and medicinal on me. That's fading and the musk is coming out to play (yay). Very dry and nice, but sweet too. Interesting, though I think a decant will be enough.
-
This is intriguing. It's got the leaves and a minty smell along with vanilla and musk. It's a very clean and pretty scent. Will put in the bottle possible list.

Leafy goodness just like the '10 version. Very good throw! I have last years decant still and there are others from this year I'm more likely to get bottles of, but this one is very spot on with the name. The embodiment of October to me!

WHOA hello boozy cider. It opened up very boozy and strong. Smells spicy and a bit fruit punchy. Thankfully smelling more ciderish than cherry as that is a NO note for me (bpal's almond smells cherry to me and is thus a note of death). I'm liking it, I'll keep the decant and wear it a the weather turns, but I don't think I'll be needing a bottle as it's not something I'd wear often.

Why HELLO gardenia. This is really pretty. I'm a fan of gardenia and here it has some complexity enough to put it in possible bottle contention. A very white scent. The gardenia is softening an oh, I think this might just be morphing into something fantastic. Time will tell....

fascinating and far more aquatic than expected. I like it, some sharpness, but not overpowering at all. Very intriguing!
-
starts of very sharp and grass-y. I think I'm getting lot of the marigold, but I can't be sure. It's mellowing and becoming intriguing. This is really growing on me. It's a bright fall scent. Like the beginning of fall when it's still sunny and there's a ton of energy. Not sure if I'll get a bottle, but it will go in the possible pile I think!

Loving this one. Very gentle and sweet floral without being overpowering. Very clean smelling. Getting a lot of lilac with some honey and a bit of frankincense which I think it is grounding it. I think the rose is in the mix, but it doesn't stand out which is awesome, cuz that can be a death note for me. Well, this might be a bottle purchase for me....hrm, dangerous, might end up broke but smelling beautiful with these weenies.

I get some lavender at the beginning, but it fades quickly into this deep lovely complex musky yumminess! ETA: I'm a sad panda. The fig comes out to play and then it fades real fast . It's possible I've overtaxed the nose since I've tested 3 others, but I'm hoping it will stick around longer next time I give it a go.
