  1. This is much sweeter than I expected. Vanilla, honey, cherries, and something dark. Ah, now I smell the clove—actually, I feel it in my nose more than I really smell it. There’s an impression of rich chocolate, but I know it’s not really there. This is a very sensual scent, that brings to mind rich chocolate-covered cherries, but the clove keeps it from being sickly-sweet.

  2. Oh gosh. If I had too pick a scent that reminds me of Lush’s Icon soap, this would be it. Aureus is maybe a touch warmer, though. It’s incensy and sort of dusty (in a good way) like old books. I love this.

  3. Oh my. This is amazing. It's vanilla, but with this scent of... well, antique lace. I guess that's the musk, but I swear it smells just like my great-grandmother's lace tablecloth. So gorgeous. It's sweet, but not candy-sweet, and it's incredibly long-lasting. I wish this could be reformulated and re-released by The Lab!

  4. Lavender and chamomile... the perfect sleep blend. Maybe some lily, too? It's rather subtle, but that's good because then I'm not focused on "what's that smell?" when I'm trying to fall asleep. :P I think I'll be buying a big bottle.

  5. Lavender and herbs. It's soothing like the other Somnium blends, but it seemed darker somehow, and slightly medicinal. At first, the lemony edge seems a little "loud" to me. It makes me worry that this may be too stimulating for bedtime. As it dries, it becomes much smoother. I'll be using this before bed tonight. :P

  6. I’m surprised others are smelling anise in this. I got mostly lavender… and then I was asleep. I may have just been unusually tired (I haven’t been sleeping well lately) but this seemed to relax me much more effectively than Somnus. :P

  7. I was a little worried about the herbs and black amber, but when Verdandi arrived in the mail, the vial smelled so good, it put my mind at ease. On my skin, hello amber! Verdandi was very strongly amber and herbs for a moment, with the apple at the very bottom. Then it turned into a wonderful spiced apple scent. An autumn, apple orchard scent. Amazing.

  8. Why does dragon's blood hate me? From Blood Amber, I got a pure Dragon's Blood scent long enough to give me a headache, and then it turned gorgeously ambery. I wan't to wrap myself in a blanket of its fuzzy ambery goodness. Sadly, I can't endure the inevitable headache while I wait for its gorgeousness. :P

  9. I don't believe I've ever been to the bayou, but if I were to go, I believe it would smell just like this. It brings to mind big old plantation houses and swampy marshland with Spanish moss hanging from the trees.

  10. This is a sad scent. Soft and herbal. Like a dusty house or cabin opened up in the summer to let the light in. Or the sun streaming through an attic window, illuminating the dust particles in the air. It's a pretty scent, but it makes me feel melancholy.

  11. Apricot Single Note

Smells just like dried apricots--the ones that are fat and squishy and maybe not quite fully dried. I'm surprised at how strong it is on my skin--it keeps wafting up at me, making me crave dried apricots! :P

  12. Sparkling peach! This is a playful scent, kind of bubbly, but there's also something else... an earthy note under the bright peach. Fun for spring/summer, but I think I prefer Tamora for peachiness.

  13. Does Pink Moon have a nice label?

I expect it'll be the usual Lab label. Maybe with a pink border! :P

ETA: I see Gemini noir responded in the other thread:

Soapy, how could I not notice 'till you asked me? The label looks like the other lunacy labels but "a little lunacy" is in pink as is the moon. As well they should be.  :D

I can't wait to see the Arkham labels! :D
