The Zieba Tree
Oh, Zieba Tree... how I want to love you. In the vial, it's a bright fruit-tree blossoms. On my skin it smells like shampoo. It's one of those fruity-florals that smells like that one thing... it's on the tip of your tongue, but you can't find the name. It's a bright, happy scent. I just don't like it on me.

The Obsidian Widow
Musky and dark. I don't get a lot of wine, it's mostly musk and myrrh. There's floral note in here, but nothing I could pinpoint, and a sour note. Not my sort of scent.

Queen Alice
Delightful! And morphy when wet! I get a varying mix of cider, wine, and carnations--something different every time I sniff! Dry, it's all carnation, wine, and amber.

They're all good! Bordello
, Midwinter's Eve, and Dionysia are my top picks. Also, King of Spades and Queen of Spades, if you can find them.

White Chocolate and Strawberry from this year's Lupercalia LEs.Velvet Pink Kitty has strawberry cream.
Yes, and Yes. White Chocolate and Strawberry is, IMO, the best strawberry BPAL. Ever. Better even than the Strawberry single note.
Velvet Pink Kitty is candy-strawberry, and lots of gin.

Poisoned Apple
This is like a supernaturally-preserved perfect apple.

The Gladdener of All Hearts
Most of these note are iffy on me, but they come together rather nicely. The lavender is agressive in the bottle, but on my skin, I smell the honeyed milk and... apples? And sweetness and a touch of powder and florals and spice. For as much as I was like, eek! baby powder! eek! rose! eek! lavender! eek! orris! I *really* like this. And I really do think it smells somehow like apples.

Moon of Ice
Definitely not as scary as the description led me to believe--it's a lot softer. Softly piney, softly lunar-floral. In fact, it's kind of weirdly soft... I don't really get the lemon-lime sodas that others have mentioned, but there's something oddly sugary in there. I like the quiet coldness of this.

Lady Lilith
Well, there's the tea, obviously. The rest is all blended up into a slightly-floral sweetness. It's very light, and difficult for me to pick apart. It's pretty, but maybe a bit light and meek for me.

Mead Moon 2008
Whoa, honey. This is pretty much all honey, all the time. At one point, I thought I got a whiff of the undelying spices, but it's mostly just deep, rich honey.

Lilith Victoria
Fresh out of the bottle, this was a little sharp--I blame the lavender and fennel--but on, it does the slinky Snake Oil thing and smooths right on out. I can smell the Snake Oil, Dorian, and vanilla flower, and way down below is the lavender. I like this a lot, and I'm sorry I didn't get a bottle when I had a chance.

Can I jut say, "ditto" to what TheOneTheyCallLuna said? Floral isn't really my favorite, but I couldn't pass up lemon peel and plum blossom. Unfortunately, I don't really get either of those, I just get a smooth, spring floral. It's pretty, to be sure, it's just not me.

Midnight on the Midway
Cotton candy incense! This smells really familiar, but I don't know why. (OMG, Dorian! That's what it is! But pink. Thanks cinderfallen!) It's sort of sweetly sexy--maybe flirty is a better word. Not only is it a keeper, but I might need a backup bottle.

Monster Bait: biggerCritters
I felt a sense of dread when I put this on and smelled sharp lily. I don't know where that impression came from because a second sniff gave me vanilla and gardenia. No grapefruit, which is probably for the best. As it dries, it gets more and more vanilla-y and more and more delicious.

Milk Moon 2005
This is SO PRETTY. Sweetened condensed milk and buttermints. And coconut? Fantastic!

I get mostly peach, chocolate and clove. It seems like that should be one of the worst combinations ever, but it actually smells really good. The more it dries, the more the vanilla and flowers come out, until it just fades into cocoa-ness.

This one didn't really appeal to me, but I happened to get frimped by a forumite. I'm glad I did! It's a lot more interesting and Gin-friendly than I expected. I get chocolate, musk, spice and the aloeswood. The cherry (a note that's *very* iffy for me) is sort of acetone-y in the bottle and pops up for a minute on the skin, but then dries down into more of a cherry-wood scent.

I bought this solely for the brown sugar note. On my skin, I get the impression of brown sugar, but it's mostly just spices. Spicy, evil gingersnap spices.

Vampire Tears
White tea, neroli, and grapefruit over white ginger and jasmine. It smells like citrussy hard candies and sweet flowers.
-
Snow, Glass, Apples
Apples and ice. This is cold and crystalline. It kind of freaks me out, because it feels (smells) so cold and somehow, empty.
-
White Phoenix
This is a light and fluffy, sweet, slightly-powdery floral. The cotton blossom dominates, supported by the ambrette, sandalwood, and musk.
-
Angeronalia
in Yules
This is much more sharp and bright than I expected. Olive blossom and nectarine over (light!) patchouli.

... His scent is deep, swarthy, and darkly commanding, and compliments the Queen of Swords perfectly: oakmoss, vetiver and opoponax with black plum, wild blackberry, soft woods, sharp and glinting white musk under a soft, velvety robe of vanilla and coconut.
King of Spades
I love the King of Spades. (I must, to have held onto him for just about 5 years now!) There's plum and spices (or what translates to spices) and coconut... and vanilla! So. Freaking. Good.

Looooooove. Smooth, chocolatey Snake Oil. I like Snake Oil well enough on its own, but this takes it to a whole 'nother level. This is an oil that you should always have two of... one stashed away, aging, as you use up the other.
