Wow, really? This is so much lighter than I expected. Quite honestly, any blend with red musk always gets the side-eye from me because we have a long history of not getting along so well. But, I was placing a DD order, so I figured I might as well grab some up. Thank goodness I did. This is light and cottony--and not ozone-cotton, but truly the "sugar-spun vanilla cream cotton" that was promised. I don't get much raspberry or anything else, just a sweet vanillaness. Gorgeous.

OMG, I love this. Apple and the red candy coating of a candied apple, loads of sugar, and a bit of caramel. It's a sweet, candy scent--exactly the kind I like.
-
Alien Invasion smells like yuzu and lime and musky spice. It's green and somehow syrupy--must be the goo.

I never reviewed Dorian because I could never figure out what it smelled like. It eludes me like TKO does--and I think they share a component or two. Dorian is soft and snuggly. A bit of vanilla, a bit of lemony something-or-other. It's really divine, one of those effortless scents that Beth is so skilled at creating.

Earth Ox is amazingly melony, even though there's no melon listed in the notes. Similar to Yemaya, but Ox goes more floral and is short-lived.

Beautiful. Berries and cream and fig, over leather. This is a surprisingly clean scent.

Evil gingersnaps? Yup. This has a lemony aspect that I get from a lot of BPAL ginger blends. Under that is all dark gingery spice.
-
I know I shouldn't complain. There are so many lovely BPALs that are perfectly lovely. Tiki Princess is a heartbreaker, though. I amp a piney/juniper-like note, almost to the exclusion of all else. I get the impression of creamy florals, and a creamier coconut--not the coconut that goes overwhelming and sharp. I wish I amped those, not the sharp, cold, junipery bit.

I get a fruity note from Pumpkin V--maybe that's how the pumpkin presents? So it's a weird fruitiness, coffee, and something that smells kind of like the inside of a pencil sharpener (not quite cedar, but like the wood and lead shavings combined). Very strange.

Clean and soapy. This is not my type of fragrance at all. I think it's an appropriate scent for Jasmine cottage, though. It's floral and viney and evocative of a cute little cottage in the country, surrounded by wildflowers, long grass, and climbing flowers and vines.

Pumpkin Latte is a really good sweet-spicy coffee scent. I don't smell pumpkin, just the spices associated with pumpkin pie.

Gah! I thought this would be fantastic. A gingery Sugar Skull, perhaps? NO. Not at all. It's quince and ginger and something about the combination turns my stomach--which is odd since ginger is supposed to be soothing. So sad.

I thought Gypsy would be sweeter than it turned out to be. I get warm, spicy musk and not much else.
-
Sugar Plum Fairy smells like plum and vanilla, and I don't get much else, so maybe I wasn't paying attention. To me, it was a happier version of Midwinter's Eve.
-
Hey tuberose, how are you? La Primavera gives me loads of florals over oakmoss and heather. I wish I got plum or lemon.

This was so faint on me at first, I wondered how anyone was able to smell anything! I get apple and grape and then fruit blossoms, something spicy (presumably the cinnamon bark), and a lovely juicy orange sort of fruit wafting over it all. It's so good! It's also fruity-foody without being loud about it.

Ooh, spiced chocolate! And... something really unpleasant underneath. I like the chocolate enough to consider giving it another try, but I think El Dia De Los Reyes already fulfills my spicy-chocolate needs, so this'll go to swaps.

There's something in Rosy Maple that doesn't sit right with me. It's a sort of waxy heaviness-I can't decide i it's the rose, the acai, or the huckleberry. Or maybe the sweet pea. Everything else is delightful and fruity-candy sweet. I think maybe I'm just "smelling too hard" and if I just let it be, it would be lovely.

This is cute. I don't get a lot of plum, and the sassafras goes on really strong. Dry, it's more balanced between the clove, sassafras, and sugar, but still hardly any plum. It's kind of a drier, spicier version of Sugar Skull, which I think is pretty cool.

Beautiful. Luna is lime, pear, and tea, over green musk. This will be perfect for summer.

I love Monarch butterflies, so I had to try this. I wasn't sure about the notes, but all fears evaporated when I smelled Monarch. OMG, so good. It's warm and orange and spicy--but not buttery-bakery dense like pumpkin pie. It's light, maybe from the mandarin. Absolutely delicious.

As soon as I put this on, I said to myself, "I've made a huge mistake." It was so grey-dusty-orrisy, I wanted to wash it off. I didn't, though, because moments later it turned to lime sugar which is awesome! It's now dried down to a sort of combination of both. I'm no completely sold on it, but I'll keep the decant around for a bit and see how I feel about it in warmer weather.

I kind of hate when the notes blend so much that I can't tell what's what. This is one of those oils. It smells like musk and wood and salt water (though that could be my imagination), and sweet grass. I get no lime, which is kind of disappointing, but I like this well enough without it.

This is surprisingly soft. In the bottle, it's a lttle sharp, but on the skin, it's a soft orange and sandalwood kind of scent. Maybe moss, I don't know. It's nice, but I think ultimately, not for me.

Oh my gosh, this is fantastic. It's floral floral floral, but they're lush, full-bodied florals. I love gardenia, and that is what smells dominant here, so it's really a no-brainer.
