imp: lightly sweet floral honey, it doesn't really smell like daphne to me but it does smell good. wet: sweet, soapy powderiness. sadly, this is not doing so well on my skin. dry: this amps in soapy/powdery sweetness as it dries. alas.

imp: super-mega sweet tobacco. wet: this is intensely sweet tobacco on my skin. dry: this is more tame once dry, it does smell like lightly sweet tobacco, just not overpoweringly so. very nice.
-
imp: floral musk, smells better than i was expecting. wet: at a distance, this has a very pleasant smell, but when i sniff closer to the skin, this is straight-up soap. dry: this gets soapier as it dries, it's a shame. this would be very pretty on the right person.
-
imp: very strong lily. wet: pretty strong lily, i can occasionally catch hints of opopponax but it's faint. dry: lily. not too strong, but still... lily.
-
imp: spicy musk. wet: this is rich, sweet, smooth, spicy musk. dry: this is an incredible musk scent, perfectly strong and smooth.
-
imp: floral honey. wet: very delicate honey, with that same fizzy cola note from christmas rose. dry: this dries to a sweet, herbal honey scent.
-
imp: sharp honey. wet: metallic honey, no other way to describe it. dry: a sharp lemony scent over a sweet metallic.
-
imp: spicy woods. wet: heavy teak, very heavy patchouli and a nice hint of myrrh. i really like this. dry: the myrrh is the strongest note after this has dried with the teak just behind it, gorgeous.
-
imp: creamy chocolate & coconut. wet: while this smells wonderful in the imp, it's far less lovely on my skin. the chocolate does it's sour-weird thing and really overpowers the rest of the delicate notes here. dry: as this dries, it gets much nicer. the white chocolate has tamed and there is a wonderful, creamy, soft scent on my skin.

(puddin sent me an imp with my ebay winnings) imp: very faint, feminine florals. wet: this smells like the best kind of watery scent with the best kind of floral scent. light and sweet... clear, smooth and clean. dry: normally i don't care for floral scents so this is a rare exception. this would be perfect for a fresh spring day, a day with nothing at all to do except wander and dream.

bottle: heady red musk and fruits. wet: beautifully sexy, the musk and fruit and intensely beautiful on my skin. i keep catching the lightest wafts of fruit backed by wonderful red musk. dry: the musk is going strong but so is the fruit, orange blossom most of all. all of these notes blend so beautifully.

To this day, that night of foolishness is still celebrated! This is a light-hearted scent: apple orchards, bright cranberries, and a touch of warm cider. 2010 version. bottle: in the bottle , this is far more cranberry than apple, especially when compared to the 2006 version. wet: still much heavier on the cranberry (which i love!) than the previous version. this is a much nicer balance of apples, cranberries & cider. very crisp. dry: as this dries, it becomes a sweet, soft cider scent, much like the original version.

2010 version bottle: delicate orange cake. wet: delicious orange custard and cake with glaze. this smells a bit richer than the 2008 version. dry: once dry, this smells identical to the 2007 version on my skin. still one of my favorite foody scents ever.

bottle: sugary peach candy. wet: very bright peach and strawberry. i get nothing like cheesecake, just syrupy fruit. dry: as this dries, it has a faintly creamy scent, but not like cheesecake, more like whipping cream. the peach and strawberry fade after about 2 hours to a simple, fruity sweetness.
-
bottle: sweet, musky leather. rawr! wet: a deep rich, musky leather scent with a nice hint of spice. kinda reminds me of i married a vampire from planet x with some leather added. dry: this is mostly musk on me as it dries. but that's fine. i bought this bottle for my husband who has skin that does amazing things to leather scents.

imp: citrus tea cookies! wet: this smells exactly like the orange tea cookies i make. delicious! dry: orange tea cookies, spiced with nutmeg and dusted with vanilla sugar.
-
imp: a warm, golden soapy scent. really, the scent of laundry drying in morning sunshine. wet: there is a smooth, light sweetness here. warm quince or...? something golden and rich. still that beautiful "clean" smell. dry: there this is a sweet (yet not overly so) golden fruit scent once dry. it still smells clean but not like soap. prettier than i was expecting.
-
bottle: cakey pasty. reminds me of a lighter version of cockaigne. wet: yep. subtract the slight booziness of cockaigne and you've got golletes. delicious, sweet golden cake. dry: this fades just a tuoch as it dries but it's yummy for a good long while. might have to get another bottle.

bottle: wow! i smell pumpkin and quince, tea, spice... oranges... it's very jumbled but in the best way possible. like a giant party with lots of interesting guests. wet: red currant takes the lead right out of the gate but i can smell so many other scents...quince, pumpkin, mandarin, tea, tonka... it's a delightful explosion of scents. dry: incredibly beautiful, i can smell the frankincense and vanilla more as this dries down but non of the other notes are fading. this is such a fun scent, i can see myself wearing it to parties this season! (oh, and even though i adore vetiver, i did not get even a hint of it in this blend!)

bottle: this is strong cacao with a touch of anise on first sniff. very, very strong cocoa. wet: the anise amps way up once applied, this is somewhat similar to kabuki on my skin, but more cocoa-y. dry: as this dries, the anise becomes more crisp and fresh-smelling. this is probably going to become one of my favorite anise scents.
-
bottle: spicy sweetness. smells like cinnamon and nutmeg with something creamy and sweet. wet: creamy, sweet cinnamon. this isn't buttery pumpkin, it's very understated. also, i am very sensitive to cinnamon and this does not burn my skin at all. dry: i wish there was more pumpkin and/or marshmallow. i get neither. what i do get is a nice creamy spice scent that will be wonderful for layering.
-
bottle: delicious crisp apples, dripping in gooey sugar and caramel. this is like the next step up for sugar-slathered candied apple. wet: this is like the perfect marriage of creepy and sugar-slathered candied apple. it is sweet apple perfection. i will be buying more bottles of this! dry: this dries to a nice waft of apple with a nice scattering of sugar and caramel. i love, love, love this scent!
-
bottle: soft, spicy cocoa. a more dusty, dry chocolate scent than usual. wet: this is lovely! very little coco or chocolate. instead this is a sweet, spicy blend of pepper, honey & tobacco. beautiful. dry: a bit more cocoa comes out as this dries, a nice undertone to the honeyed spices.

imp: pungent herbs over amber. wet: this is very strong wood. not old, soft woods, very strong green wood with an astonishing throw. i can barely smell the amber and sandalwood dry: still very strong, long after it has dried. i'm not terribly fond of this scent on my skin as strong as it is but i could see using it as a room scent.

Translucent blooms, ethereal white resins, and davana. imp: light, clean, sweet, fresh. very softly floral (the kind of floral i like) and crisp. wet: this is just what my laundry smells like fresh off the line. that sort of sun-sweet clean scent. hard to describe but there it is. dry: as this dries it smells more like the sweet, watery grass/aquatic scent of sturgeon moon. i think a bottle may be in order.
