Bottle: Yum, citrus! Wet: Yum, sweet citrus! Drydown: The bit of sharpness from the grapefruit settles down and I'm left with yummy grapefruit. 3.5 outta 5

Bottle: OMG Fig! Wet: Dark fig, not a lot of sweetness. Kinda a bit of almond, but only a hint. Drydown: The sweetness comes out here. Before there was barely any. I really like this, but it's not a scent for everyday for me. 3.5 outta 5

Black Phoenix Bottle: Sweet Berry with what I feel like is a sweet cassia/cinnamon Wet: Not berry, cherry! I still get the cinnamon, but it's slightly spicy, not as sweet. Dry: The spiciness goes away and I'm left with sweet cherry that is beautiful! 4 outta 5

Belladonna I bought an imp of this on a whim, it didn't really sound like a 'me' scent, but it sounded so interesting, I had to try it. Bottle: Dark and forboding. Not sure if I wanna wear this actually. Wet: I got up my courage and put it on. It is very dark, but it also has this sweet note to it, that I didn't detect in the bottle. Belladonna makes me feel cooler than I actually am, I wear it when my self esteem is down, it makes me feel like I can reinvent myself.

Elegba Bottle: I knew I'd love this. I can smell every note. Wet: It's gorgeous. I smell the coconut and the rum. I wanna be a pirate! Drydown: The scent doesn't mute, like most others do on me, it stays strong and I love it. 4.5 outta 5 ADDED Oct. 10: Bottle: Boozy and coconut Wet: Rum and coconut, yum! Drydown: Very sweet and boozy, I like it a lot. 3.5 outta 5

Ochosi Bottle: this scares me. I'm not fond of 'green grassy' scents. Wet: The green is pretty strong, but there's another note, I'm not sure what it is, but it tones down the grass scent I don't like. Drydown: The other note is gone now, all I get it grass. Planning to swap this away. If you like green scents, Ochosi is for you.

Dorian is my favorite BPAL ever. First sniff in bottle: Zesty herbal lemon. Wet: An airy note comes out, that I suppose is tea, as others have said. I don't really know what tea smells like. I do know that it goes very well with the herbal lemon I smelled in the bottle. Dry: I see the color gold. To me, Dorian is a comforting blanket that I wrap myself in, after a difficult day. It's so comforting and yummy. On the drydown, the scents mute a bit, but not too much. 5 out of 5, will be the first big bottle I buy.

Aunt Caroline's Joy Mojo First sniff through bottle: I get lemonade and cotton candy. Similar to Lush's Candy Fluff, but a lot better. Wet:I get a raspberry or berry note that blends nicely with the cotton candy. Dry: It gets weaker on me unfortunately, as all candy scents do. It's still lovely, but I have to put my nose right to my wrist and sniff hard to smell it. It's worth it though.

High John the Conquerer First impression: That is yummy. Don't know what note that is, but yum! Wet: Strong, but not overly strong, you don't have to stick your nose right up to your wrist to smell it. Dry: Beautiful and green. I'm bad at notes, but this is a lovely green scent. My husband swears it's straight hydrangea. I've never smelled hydrangeas before, but I do get a hint of floral and herbal. Love this, I give it a 4.5 out of 5.
