This reminds me strongly of Antonino (White musk, wild plum, vetiver, black coconut, verbena, fig, and lavender) I guess it must be the white musk and verbena. Since I already have a bottle of Antonino, which I like better, I don't think I need this one.

Very nice, light summery scent. Unfortunately, it smells very much like another woman I know who treated me poorly. Not sure if I can stand it for that reason. If it weren't for that, I would keep the imp, but probably not get a bottle.

Love this scent. Got it from lovely Shollin as a total surprise. I put it on when I was watching Dangerous Liasons in French with Uma Thurman and John Malkovich. Felt very Versaillish.

Hmm, I am not much of a piney person. To me, this smells like a Christmas tree that has one of those orange pomaders nearby. Or maybe one of those liquid potpourri that you put in one of those simmer pots for "Winter Wonderland" smell. Think I will have to pass.

For some reason, this smells like a "poor woman's" version of Carnaval Diabolique to me. I am not sure why, but when I put it on, I just want to go put on "the real thing" of Carnaval Diabloique. Maybe the slight hint of lemon?

Without reading the notes, this seemed to have cedar in it. However, to be fair it could just be residue from one of the five other imps that I tried today. This fades quickly and I didn't get much throw from it.

Hmm. This smells like the hot sugary Morrocan mint tea that is served in a glass. Unfortunately, I am not much of a mint-scent loving person. Also don't like lemongrass and honey, so if they show up, I'm outta here.

Agh. Maybe I should limit myself to testing two new scents per day. This is the third I tried today. Perhaps it was the combination of the other two on me (Meshenet + Organ Grinder) plus this one, but I had to scrub it off right away. I feel like I am radiating patchouli. Actually, since none of these ingredients look appealing to me, no wonder it is a pass.

This is too heavy, perfumy for me. It started out nice, but then I felt embarassed because I felt like I was scenting up the entire room. Not "stinking up" just "scenting up". It felt very resiny on me.

This smells great in the bottle but just not my thing on my skin. Perhaps as a nice lotion or something. It is just too foody and burnt smelling. Quelle domage. ETA: 2 years later, and I am glad I kept the bottle. It was one of those that I could never bring myself to swap. It is a sweet caramel smell, no longer burnt.

This was my first experience of Bordello and of the BPTP soaps. Scent( very nice, but I wish it lingered more on my skin post-shower. Also, I would like more latheriness. Must try again.

I think something is wrong with my sniffer because all the scents I have tried lately seem the same to me. This just becomes a heavy, clingy, non-descript floral. Reminds me a bit of Pannychis I think. Not for use when you have a headache.

I really like the IDEA of these notes. However, after a brief nice moment upon application, they become "a bouquet of flowers left in the vase with water that hasn't been changed in a week" heading towards rotten. I think BPAL florals just don't work on me. Now that I think about it, perhaps commercial flowers don't work either.

Never liked gin and tonics. If this was everything except the gin, I think it would be great. Oh, and maybe one less fruit as well.
-
Sweet tarts! This is great. Love this. Just wish it would last longer.
-
Definitely get the lemon blossom/balm of Carnival Diabolique, plus slight hint of coconut and sunscreen. I am not disappointed I didn't get a bottle.

Ahhh! Almost as bad as dragon's hide on me! Too much smoke and myrhh! Scrub scrub scrub!
-
Agree that this is just too much. It starts out okay, but then has some strange under note that I don't like. Maybe if it were: white sandalwood, ambergris, galbanum and leather with ebony, and teak
-
I got not one, but two of these as frimps from the Lab. Hate to say it, but this is one of those scents I think "How could ANYONE like this?"
-
A nice soapy floral smell. Wait, those aren't the notes? I guess I can slightly pick up the calla lily and wisteria. Fades quickly. Next!
-
This is an imp from the wonderful ifinena. Unfortunately, this is too strong for me. It also turns very soapy. When most people say in their reviews that an oil turned soapy, I don't get that feeling, but for this one yes.
-
Note to self for future: no honey! ahhh! This just smells like honey gone sour or something on me. Other than that, maybe slight rose and peach. Argh. Scrub.
-
Perhaps my body chemistry is off these past couple of days, because everything I have tried lately makes me want to be sick. I don't really like the dragon blends. This smells mainly like patchouli to me, a bit of smoke, and myrrh. Very slightly reminds me of Lust, I guess it is the myrrh and patchouli. Strange. I love Lust, this leaves me feeling urpy.

Frankincense: No Cinnamon: Maybe Violet: Maybe Two maybes and a no do not a love make. Reminds me of something with vetiver in it, perhaps Highwayman or Azathoth.
-
I was looking forward to this one, especially the banana and coconut. However, it just doesn't feel right. It actually makes me want to be *sick*. Maybe it is the chili pepper. I don't know.
